"At home four zealots came wandering past my choke point, took one look at the wallin, asked T_Mac for danger pay, didn't get it, and contented themselves with scouting my natural and then going on strike for better wages. I think they might be still there, waving signs and chanting 'For Hire!'

Alright, so that pun sucked. Work with me here people. It's past midnight."

Da Start

I started scouting with my first Overlord (and later with my 8th Drone) then build a Spawning Pool on 9, followed by a second Overlord and a Creep Colony (which I later morphed as a Sunken). My Overlord slowly but surely assures me there's no one at the right start location; my Drone sends the same message about the left postion. So he's at the bottom. My courageous worker runs by the 2 guarding Marines and catches a glimpse of many SCVs and two Barracks, one being in construction. At this point 6 Zerglings hatch at my main base but I refrain from attacking (why? don't ask me). I use a Drone to morph an Extractor, knowing gas will come in handy soon.

I make 6 more 'Lings and build a second Hatchery at the top of my ramp. I send 2 of my loyal beasts to observe the enemy and warn me of a preemptive attack, so I station them at his gimme's choke. During this time I plop down an Hydralisk Den and upgrade to Lair, figuring Lurkers would be my next move.

Uh, Is It A Marine Horde Or Are You Happy To See Me?

I pump out 4 Hydras and promptly morph them to Lurkers. Just in time: my 2 Zerglings guarding the entry to his base get slaughtered by Gauss Rifle fire. Yikes, the timing is gonna be tight... Especially since I morphed a 3rd Hatchery at my gimme.

As soon as my Lurkers are finished I burrow two of them in front of my ramp and 2 others blocking my expansion. A handful of scouting Marines die a quick death as lethal spines burst forward. Not bad, I'm thinking: maybe I'll hold him off anywayz... How wrong was I.

Since I had lotsa gas at this point, I throw down a Queen's Nest, figuring Parasite and upper tech could benefit. I then start pumping Hydras from the 2 Hatcheries at my main and Drones from the third. I also morph a Queen (who will be known from now on as "Bitch") and send her on a Parasitic mission. Guess what I see: he expanded to his gimme... and has Science Vessels! Arghhh! I Parasite a SCV and one Marine. In a weird move, he tries to kill it but is twarted by his own Medics! ;)

That's Some Nice Catching Up Boy

I quickly plop down a Spire, hoping Scourges will save my poor ass. I also move all of my 4 Lurkers forward, trying to catch his Marine masse in transit (therefore unprepared). But his horde stays at bay (scared of the spines going off when a scouting Marine gets too close I guess) and eventually retreats. Mwahahaha, fear is the path to the Dark side... ;)

2 Sci Vessels come in to detect me... Ahhh! I unburrow my Lurkers and run them back, while simultaneously launching a dozen Hydras from my main on SV hunting. Fortunately, the Marines are too slow and the Science Vessels haven't moved an inch... so I get 2 free kills. I withdraw my hunters behind the protection of the Lurkers and start producing Scourges. My expansion is also starting to pay off so I make some more Hydralisks.

My rest is cut short: the Marines are back for revenge! Along with some new Sci Vessels! They try to circle around my Lurkers but some get caught in the deadly underground spines' path. My Hydras join the fight and everything get REAL ugly. In the end, I lose my Hydralisk force while my Lurkers are basically untouched. But the M&Ms don't want to fight; no, they're going straight for my main base!

My army at home consists of 12 Zerglings, some Hydras, 14 Scourges and 2 Sunkens. And he has a fucbipg large Marine army. I try to distract his army with some Zergling fun while my Lurkers burrow close by; alas, to no avail, since he has 2 ComSats at home. My expansion is quickly roasted, and my newly hatched Mutalisks cannot stop his Marine force, reinforced with Wraiths. I tell him I'm beaten and he agrees to share vision with me. We both say GG and I leave.

Here are some screenshots!

Yikes... 2 bad news at once...

Not a good sign...

Stupid Wraiths, leave my OLs alone!

That's how he got so many Marines... ;)

Comments anyone?
