Here I am with a little report of a game I played yesterday. But since YourRoleModel posted that awesome report yesterday... I'm going for that castrated Bengalass! Keep in mind this story is set in vanilla Starcraft, not Brood War.
We all have a story about that incredibly new partner we once got in a Ally game. Here is mine.
-----------------------
Map: Blood Bath
Team 1: Two guys, names totally irrelevant to the story, both Terrans, top-left and top-right.
Team 2: Korasoff[265] (that's me), Protoss at bottom-left.
lui-meme (newbie partner), Protoss at bottom-right.
-----------------------
In desperate need of one last quick game for the afternoon, I join a game named "2v2 Blood Bath", hoping the outcome will be quickly decided. 3 people are already in the chat room, and it ends up being Top versus Bottom. I don't have time to do 3 /stats, and besides, my opponents have all those funky charcters in their names. So I only check my teammate, whose name is "lui-meme" (that's french), which translates to "himself". Yikes.

Woohoo. Everyone readies up and the game starts.
Da Start
In the blink of an eye, I order a Probe to be made, clone my original 4 peons to different mineral patches and ally up with my partner. This done I set back, watching the usual "[some lamer who doesn't know jack about lag] sets the network to extra-high latency" message flash. Then another, more unsettling message comes on-screen:
lui-meme: Are there any alliances?
Sheesh. I explain to him that yes there are, and that he's allied with me. "That explains why you can see my base" is the comment that got him to trust me. He succeds in finding the Diplomacy menu, and finally we're all set. While I am producing my 7th Probe, his 5th one pops out. Darn. Hard to 4-pool enemies all by yourself when you're Toss ;)
One opponent then interrupts with a "No rush???" suggestion. I'm thinking: "That's too late for rules, pal."
"Pffff" is my answer.
"[lamer] has left the game" is his.
I'm figuring the other guy is gonna go too; but no, he stays in. Wow. He got balls. I go with my usual 7 Pylon, 8 Gateway --> Scout build order. I see our remaining foe is Terran at top-left, and that he is already building a Barracks before a Supply Depot. Meanwhile, my oh so great ally is warping in 2 Pylons. Yeah. That oughta scare Terran boy into submission.
When he sees my scouting Probe, the Terran gets the impression that I'm gonna rush him. He was sorta right; one Zealot coming with another Gate warping in. So he too leaves the game.
Waiting for that Victory screen... waiting... waiting...
Me: "Did you check the Ally Victory box?"
No answer. Hmmm...
lui-meme: "Now it's everyone for himself!"
Great. Newbie AND wannabe backstabber. Gotta love life and the little gifts it sends ya from time to time.
You're Gonna Be On The Wrong End Of Those Scarabs
I turn off Ally and Share Vision, just like my former partner, and then set my sights on scouting him ASAP. The last thing I see of his base is 2 Pylons, a Forge and a Gateway warping in. Cool, a turtler. Gonna get Reavers. Just to further strengthen this decision, my Probe is shot down by a wall of 3 Cannons next to his Nexus. Hmmm. Covering his Probes. Luck or skill? I'm betting on good ol' luck.
Knowing he's turtling intensively, I start on gas and warp in a Cybernetics Core for my teching needs. Soon after this comes a Robotic Facility, followed by a Support Bay. At this point Vespene gas is getting short so I make a Forge and send one Probe on a destructive mission: clear the top-right location for expanding. Hell, I can't spare any of my 12 speed-enhanced Zealots.

Meanwhile I'm getting a Shuttle, and soon after pops out a Reaver... I fill it with 5 Scarabs and head east for some action. I do not worry about a counterattack: my choke is well guarded by 1 Cannon, 1 Shield Battery, 12 Zealots and a handful of Dragoons. Since my "clever" opponent doesn't have a Rob Fax or a Stargate, I'm pretty safe.
I land the Shuttle just in front of his choke. Some Zealots come out, but with clever transport use I dispatch them with no damage. Piece of cake. This is gonna be history's shortest backstabbing game. My Reaver creeps slowly, slowly towards the wall of Cannons...
Reaver bug kicks in.
Although I am well in range of the enemy structures, my Reaver won't fire. I try to bring him a bit closer... and the Cannons start firing at him! A hasty retreat saves my poor bugged unit, but the effect of surprise and a possible victory have just slipped from my grasp. Damn. I try again and again, from different angles: to no avail. The Reaver ultimately dies to Cannon fire, but fortunately one of his brothers is waiting back at my main base. If ya can't bust it, go around it, as Grandpa used to say. Time for a backdoor drop...
The Shuttle, with its Gravity Drive upgrade, zips over the rift separating our camps... only to meet a huge stack of Cannons! It looks like it will get through... but one last shot sends it crashing to the ground, just as it was leaving Cannon range. That guy is making a buttload of Cannons all over the place! Better keep him contained intensively; to this end, I make an Observatory and send 3 Observers to surround his base, with a fourth one waiting at the top-left location (still has Terran buildings).
Top-right's destruction is going way too slowly... I need that gas! Time for some added punch!

I make a wall of Cannons to block off my new expansion's choke... as if I had to worry about an attack. But hey, better safe than sorry. The Terran infestation is gone; I am now free to set up camp, which I quickly do. With the added gas income I warp a Templar Archives, and immediately start researching Hallucination, even before Psi-Storm. WHAT? Yes, Hallucination. I have to scout inside his base to see what he has. This is what I see with Hallucinated Shuttles and Observers:

The red line to the left is where additional Cannons, of which I had no screenshots, where. The 2 red circles are where he later stuck all his Stargate tech buildings, except for one Stargate at bottom-left.
All is quiet for a while. Then, one of my Observer sends dire news:

The End Nears For You, Once Friend
Hmmm. Gonna have to research Psi-Storm after all. I try to sneak another Shuttle full of Reavers, this time using Hallucinated Shuttles as decoys; my drop does get through, and whacks all of his Probes. However, Carriers stop my drop unarmed, but his base is still hurt pretty badly. Good. I now have 2 High Templars with sufficient mana to cast 2 Storms; 2 more Temps are on the way.
Just then, my once-ally tries to push his way in with 3-4 Carriers... Psi-Storm stops him cold. He retreats with no shields and medium damage to all Carriers. Lesson #1: don't mess with Da_Drunken_Russian when he has a pack of High Temps nearby. Oh yeah, and don't go for the Assimilator when laying siege to a base. Try to kill things that can actually fight back first.
For quite a while I produce only Templars, with the occasional Scout from 2 Stargates I warped just after his Carrier attack. My Observer is counting Carriers: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8...
I'm waiting for #9 but out comes an Arbiter instead. Oupsie. Hope he doesn't know how to Stasis properly.
I know have 12 Templars, 12 Scouts, 2 Carriers and 1 Arbiter ready to go. Knowing a front door attack is futile, I cast Hallucination twice on my Arbiter and sneak it through his still partially-opened side.
At home, all my stuff is tightly packed and ready for one thing: Recall.
The Arbiter gets into position... I hit the "R" key and target on of my Scouts flying over the bunch of Templars. The spell is cast, but wait; why aren't the Templars warping too? Arghhh! The spell only transported the air units, and none of the ground units!
In come Carrier Boy's fleet, accompanied by 2 Arbiters. I do what I can, but end up looking like a complete moron. I didn't have an Observer, because I had been counting on Psi-Storm to deal with cloaked threats: looks like this battle is over for me. At least I destroyed some Cannons and the 2 Arbiters.
I bet he's happy. I bet he thinks Carriers can take out everything. Ooohhhh, you're gonna pay. 1 Shuttle with 4 High Templars is ready to strike the second he gets out of his base. Strangely, he doesn't notice my top-right expansion; he instead goes for top-left, which is defended by my 12 Zealots. It only has a warping Nexus and some Pylons, though.
Out go the Carriers... followed by another Arbiter. They inch their way toward the meager 4 Scouts I have produced after my fleet was destroyed. They are merely decoys; the real damage is gonna come from that Shuttle floating a bit back.
Here he comes!
*Insert lightning sounds*
8 Psi-Storms later, he's coming no more.
"lui-meme has left the game."
