We soon met up with fluffy and chucky. After some useless chatter the countdown started and the game was off (finally) Team Cartoons Vs Team dumb toys

Team cartoons consists of chicken (terran at 3) and Cow(toss at 12). Team dumb toys consists of fluffy (zerg at 6) and chucky (toss at 9). Introduction:

Cow: my die-hard ally. We grew up toghether (starcraft wise) played with him for a year off and on. He loves to macro and refuses to build a forge as it "tempts him to make those damn expensive photon cannons".. lol.. still, a more than competent player.

Chicken: that would be me. Terran only player and focus on expanding and macro. i once got kicked by a terran using a 8 golie/tank drop. this impressed me so much i used that strat ever since.

Chucky: A strong player, really great macro, sucky "focus fire", gosu grades and storm happy. A real challenge.

Fluffy: a sly player, not that great but has some mean tricks up his sleeve. Really a sneaky basterd. He uses devious tacticts like fast lurker ^^ and mass hydra drop. Actually, one tends to forget he is also in the game because chucky is such a damn strong player.

2 v 2 lt !!!!!

There, now we know what we are talking about. Let start this game allready.

Our initial builds went something like this:

Chucky had a 2 gate + cybercore build and techs to DT.

Fluffy techs up to lurker pretty fast and uses a choke hatch defence with your average sunken & lings

Cow uses his wacky "2 pylon before gate" strat for zeal dragoon . (don't ask me ??)

Chicken goes for a 2 fact vultures and spidermine build with some marines for support.

As said: chucky teched to DT's and decided to test Cow's defence. chicken was done mining his chocke and wandered off to the centre of the map. fluffy didnt do much except expand and make some lings. As chucky's 2 dts arrive at Cow's base the ramp was guarded by 2 zeals and 3 dragoons. The 2 escorting zealots are quickly taken care of by the defenders but the dts are a different story. Happily hacking away at the zeals and dragoons which are on hold at the ramp, Cow quickly throws up a oberservatory as his robo fac was just done. The dts can't get through and this is buying chicken some time to catch up with his ally. Alas, the dts make it through the blockade frantically followed by the vultures, trying to lay mines in the path of the dt's. (Dt's are not that invisible, you can tell by the blur on the screen). when an observer plops out, the dts are quickly taken care of. Damage: 2 zeals-3 dragoons vs 2 zeals and 2 dt's and a badly damaged assimilator.

Obviously team cartoons wouldn't stand for such an insult and they quickly countered with the remaining zeals and dragoons accompanied with every vulture chicken had, about 6. This didn't fare too well because chucky had storm and a nice army.

Round 1: early game

Meanwhile chicken had expanded and so had Cow. Lets rock, both Cow and chicken had been massing for an attack on chucky. On the other hand, chucky had'nt been idle too and he had a sizable army and some high templars. Anyone starting to wonder what fluffy was up to ? yep !! lurkers, and lots of them. 8 lurkers made it to chucky's natural and dug in. Chucky kept up his macro and rammed his units down the cartoons throaths thanks to the lurker cover and a good amount of storm, Quite impressive.

Meanwhile chicken had 4 tanks ready and went strait for fluffy's expansion. The tanks killed a nice amount of hydra's and some drones before being killed by the retreating lurkers at chucky's main. Back to square 1 !!

Round 2: butchery

Seing that fluffy was kinda weak on macro chicken decided to add to the pressure. He finally bothered to get an SV and accompanied by 4 tanks and 8 golies he headed over to the zerg expansion too see whats up. The golies stumbled over some burried lurkers and ordered the Science vessel to reveal their position. Previous to this assault chucky expanded and was massing at his expo. As chicken was raping the zerg expansion, chucky showed up and kicked the living shit out of the terran.

This action triggered Cow to help out his team-mate and he ordered a good 2 hotkeys worth of zeal and dragoons to the battlefield. Chucky was badly damaged from the previous assault and Cow had no trouble in just rolling in and started finishing off the zerg

Round 3: revenge

Both teammates were wondering what the hell this zerg was thinking, he was playing like crap ? However, the sneaky basterd had one last trick up his sleeve. 6 overlords worth of hydra's landed in chickens main as team cartoons rolled in for the kill.

It was kinda like a desperate attempt to keep his teammate in the game. Chucky lost his army to Cow and Chicken was still bashing fluffy with a small army.

Fact: 24 hydras > empty main. This attack cought Chicken completely by surprise and in terror he send all his units back to get rid of the attacker. This was the que chucky had been waiting for. He mobilized his complete army to finish off the damn terran.

Cow once again came to the rescue. With 10 gateways to produce from he helped out the terran in need. chicken however, lost his entire main and barely held on to his natural and luckily recently started an expansion at an island. His mineral only too was completely wiped out by chucky. Things didn't look good for team cartoons.

Round 4: do or die !

fluffy however had been taken out of the game. A minor detail, caused a serious problem for the cartoons team. As chicken and Cow were razing fluffys main, the sneaky baster took a drone to the most left corner of the 6 position and started a hatchery. When all but the hidden building were razed the cartoons team just assumed he had an expansion somewhere else. This spelled disaster for chicken because fluffys units were only half way razing chickens base. Had he died, as he should have, fluffy WOULD have had at least 50 % of his production capacity left. But NOW fluffy hapilly continued razing poor chicken (that would be me). Kinda reminds me of mark4, never say die !!.. chickens main lay in ashes and Cow barely held off the attacker who is named chucky after he kicked out fluffy.

Cow had saved his partner but he didn't have to expect anything from him the next few minutes. Chicken refuses to give up and takes 12 scv's from his natural to rebuild his fallen main.

While this was going on cow tried to finish the game on his own. bad mistake ^^. cow took all the units he had left and attacked chucky head on. let the pic do the talking. (the grades belong to chucky)

After just 2 minutes Chicken had his base up and running again, he built 8 factories 5 supply depots and and armory. Another 2 minutes after that he had a sizeble army once more. Cow had been massing too and they both headed out for chucky who was desperately outnumbered.

Team cartoons was ready to take chucky out of the game and they received a warm welcome. Chucky is tough basterd and he knew it. He had his army ready for us, waiting to take the fall. When both armies clashed storms flied, tank shells covered the ground and goliaths exploded. It was a furious battle and chucky lived up to his reputation, taking down whith him 2 times the units we had. But it was over, outnumbered and and out-recourced he conceded this incredible game.

And fluffy ? the only drone he could make got stuck between the hatchery and the land left to him. GG stupid toys..
