It all started with a rather inconspicious message to the assorted newbies, koreans, korean newbies, and people who insist they are progamers despite 15-62-71 records. The message of course was
"1:1 msg me", the standard challenge to nohunters. The challenge was met, by none other than b.m.joe. He finished 16th at WCG. Or so he claims. I bet he actually stayed at home and watched porn. I mean hey, it's what I would have done.
So I made the game, he joined, I in my psedu-korean style called "GG" and it started. He had a hasty switch to protoss, and without further ado the game started, with me in the hands of zerg. He was at 3, I myself was at 6. Luckily it was gamei.
Now, chosen protoss is something of a favourite subject at mine, and I feel it is my best vs matchup (random vs chosen protoss). Using a little sherlock holmes style logic, I assume that protoss will go 11gate-12assim (as tech is the standard protoss vs random build (thought many koreans will argue 2gate is better (I kinda agree)), so my answer is 3hatch hydra. There are, in my opinion, two powerful toss tech builds. Sair /dt and reaver drop. 3 hatch hydra counters either of them in the short turn. So I begin with a standard 13 hatch, 14 pool (yeah I power like a whore, sue me), 15 hatch, 16 gas (or something similiar).
Meanwhile, in the protoss camp, my maphack shows me he goes 8 pylon, 11 gate, 12 assim, 15 core, 19 stargate. Did I say maphack? I meant careful analysis of the replay. Really. I do. Come on guys. I was joking. Stop looking at me like that!
Now, at this point, many would say I was ahead. I mean, I had powered like a whore without rush, and I did the ideal counter to his strat. This would mean I'm ahead. Right? Bet you didn't count on the......
CHOBO FACTOR!

AND NOW! FOR A LITTLE ACTION!

The sair leaves his base, and with all the pent up anger of someone with a robotic penis searches for death to give. Due to lack of early air protection (I'm a bit slow, don't hurt me) I lose one of my overlords to his pulsing ray gun before a hydra is hatched and chases him away by tossing pine needles in it's general direction.

Wow! That sure was something.

Now, at this point I begin lair, and I have 4 hatches, and hydra tech, with a evo for extra whoopass. And an expansion of course. But come on, it's ZvP. Isn't that assumed? He on the otherhand is warping in a robs facility. Apparently he is going for the slightly gosu, but mostly newbish sair + shuttle combo. I bet his entire plan was to prevent probe malfunction by blocking the sunlight from hitting them. He should have been terran...

As I'm silently mocking his tech, his sair finds another ol. Dead ol count = 2.

Since I don't really want to make a move before he expands I stick with just taking my mineral only. He doesn't like this so he drops two goons on my naturals cliff. This is the super chobo gay annoying harass tactic, probably invented by Zileas. Goon range is really long. Hydra range isn't. Drone range is even shorter. The goons stay for a long time and annoy me. I run hydras in, goons run out. Hydras run out, goons hit drones, wash, rinse, and repeat. Eventually I get drop and take them out, but alot of annoyance is caused, and in the meantime he expands two times. To his natural (lol he stored up like $1000 during his annoying attack) and to the 12 main.

Well, I suppose I am getting a bit ahead of myself. I'll go back a bit. As his goons are annoying my hydras, and my hydras are running around like martha stewart on uppers he thinks he'll be cute and drop a reaver and some zealots. He rapes some hydras, but I have alot (I am MAD GOSU THANX!) and they rape his reaver. He loads it up. His shuttle dies. GW.

He is going reaver goon at the moment. Lots of goons, a few reavers.

So he expands. I do not stand for that of course, and so in my retribution I... don't scout the 12 main. I had no idea it existed for about 5 minutes. Yeah. I'm not proud of that part : (

However, when I did finally see it, I do take action. At this point I'm up to about 5 hatchories of nonstop hydra production. He's got about 4 gates. 5>4. And the last two came in late. So what's my action? Mass hydra doom drop on his main. I take out his main nexus, and kill a few goons before the large army comes in. I wisely withdrawl and send the ols with 12 hydras still in them to the top right above his main. I then send in my main hydra fleet (which was stationed outside his natural). His troops came down from his main. I dropped the hydras from before. It was pretty cool. End result? I retreated my hydras from his natural (I was about to get owned) and took out a few gateways in his main. It annoyed him and made me feel good that I could harass too : )

Status :
He has 12 main, 3 natural, (not 3 main kekeke) and 12 natural. 1 attack upgrade, around 4-5gateways, a few scattered troops, and reaver, sair and templar tech ( he just got it).

I have my main (6), natural, min only, and I take 9 min only. I also have a shitload of hydras in the center, drop upgrades, and a few minor unit attack upgrades.

Now sometime (I didn't even notice when) he dropped a reaver in my main and took out some drones and flew away. He's gay that way.

I do a few testings, with my hydras. It's really dumb to harass like that, cause both goons and reavers have longer range, so I don't really gain anything, but it kept him on his toes I suppose.

At this point he tries to take the 12 mineral only, but I scout that business out and destroy it.

Finally he gets tired of my mass expanding (I took 9 main and natural), as well as my big army of hydras, so he sends in a very large amount of goons and templar. Storm rips through the air, destroy quite alot of my hydras, however I am well versed in the art of surrounding units with hydras (I play ZvT with them meching alot, what can I say ;P) so I handle it with only a few losses to my units. OK, I lost my entire standing army. Hey, he lost his too! And my production was a bit superior : ) So I recover the middle.

At this point, my upgrades are 2/1, hive is coming up, and a spire rears it's ugly head. The spire quickly acheieves a level of greatness, and 12 guardians are sent to see what damage they can do to the 12 main. I use the gosu "no spread" tactic, perfected on BGH maps across the world, and a few storms plus alot of goons easily rape them. So much for that idea : (

At this point he attempts to take both islands, and lays down a good number of cannons on both. Having an ol at both places I attempt to stop them, but my ol load of goodies only reaches the top left one in time. I stop it, but the bottom right goes online. So I try the only long range guardian thing again, this time with much greater success.

Now he's in a bit of desperation. I have 6 expansions on his 3, so he has to make a move. If I were Montaro I'd say something gay about "Window of Opportunity". I'm not tho, so don't worry. Out moves a gigantic mass of zealots, goons, and probably the rare archon. Now, I opted for the "random placement of hydras throughout the map" theory. Have you ever gone 1 marine vs 10 marines 10 times? You don't end up with 20 dead marines. On this basic principle, I got raped. However, hope springs eternal, and so do larva, and in time my gosu macro, superior production, and deep understanding of Buddhist philosophy brought me a victory. This lesson was brought to you by the letter "A". How it went down was like this...

His forces moved out, and I immediately started sending any troops I could find to attack. He had a higher concentration of force, and storm, so he beat them away despite me having superior numbers (attacking in waves isn't really a good idea), but my attrition wore him away. He got as far as the 9 mineral only, but he was stopped there and ran away to the 3 min only, and put up mass cannons, in the vain hope it would stop me. But what has a longer range than cannons?

You remember his failed island expansion? I still had those guards : ) So I sent them up through his natural, to the min only. They rested in his main, overlooking the expansion. Overlooking the probes. In range of the probes. The probes died, a rusty archiac sort of death.

Then, I attack moved all my hydras, destroyed his expansion, and he left, exasperated. I had 3/3/3 upgrades.
