Warning-This sunofabeotch is LONG(200 or 240 lines, not sure). Not completely finished, but school went out (Used 3 of my 5 periods every day to write it, too much free time). Not necessarily a BR in the strictest sense, but a BR nonetheless. Ah well. Read it if you have some time to kill. (Should be Red text on black background, but preview didn't show background maybe)
Darkness rules this world
no way to stop it
blood falls, sheets of rain
step back before you get hit
Violence at every streetcorner
New gangs fight, hunt in packs,
Watch where you walk,
until ready to attack.
Face up to the leader,
Stab him in the chest.
Twist the blade, drag it out
Feel the blood on my hands, and I laugh.
Nothing left for me now,
I took that last step.
Sanity escapes now, took a life,
Enjoyed it, Now I run away
Escape, run, flee
Get away, they gunning for you
Blame you for the hunt,
And the kill, you know it isn't true.
Nothing you can do, you panic, run
When they find you, you die.
Hide away, make yourself invisible
Can't kill what they can't find
They don't suspect me now,
I'm just new blood in the pack.
Until we find you, and soon we will
You killed the Alpha, they will rip out your throat
Been a while now, haven't had any time,
The pack is expanding, I am an enforcer.
I killed the onle who killed our Alpha,
Tore out his throat, bit it to shreds.
Running now, voices in my head,
Order me to destroy my pack.
Can't do it, I scream, try to escape
Never can hide, voices always come back
"Kill them. Kill them all,
They don't love you, just a worthless pet.
Eliminate them all,
Maybe you could then find peace."
No, can't listen, never,
This, my pack, I will not betray
My family, Never
They may not accept me, but I will not kill
New orders today, Straight from the new Alpha
I, the Omega, must fight off the enemy pack
Invading our territory,
I howl and get ready.
Fifteen of them, fully loaded.
New Alpha expects me to die.
I will not fail.
I will kill them all.
I crouch, prepared, many as fifteen lives will be gone today
They do not expect me as they advance,
Circle around silently, eliminate their rear guard.
Three gashes across the throat, dropped to the ground
The others do not notice their fallen companion.
Still moving forward, towards our den.
Will not let them win, take his gun.
I will not fail.
Fourteen left, the voices scream,
Cannot believe that they don't turn,
Fine, ignore me,
You won't have time to regret it, your deaths.
Crouch behind cover, creeping up, first mark
Two shots ring out, chest, face
A dying body cries out
Cover is blown, no way to escape.
Thirteen of them, one of my pack
Alpha will not help, the Omega must stand alone
But I will survive, stand strong,
I must kill them all.
Dive, gunfire around my head
Voices laugh, burning sensation
Shoulder grazed, two bullets, trails of blood.
Fire past cover, two more fall bleeding.
Eleven left, circle my position,
Dead now, perhaps, a few more tricks left.
Bring them all down with me
Run hands down, putting on razored gloves.
Crouch, wait, voices silent now,
Watching for what I will do next.
First three on my position,
Time slows, must act before death.
Leap, roll, avoid gunfire, get down,
Blades flash upwards, under ribs, into lungs,
rake down, pull out, use the dying body for cover.
Five to nothing, how long will this hold?
Backflip, away, scaling a ladder, push off
Land behind the next, claws through his neck.
Fear in your eyes, you are next, boy.
He took one look at the fallen, dropped his gun, and ran.
They are fleeding, I laugh, took out six.
No help from the Alpha, lazy master.
Times change quickly,
Can you keep up?
I return home, blood flowing with each step
Not all theirs, my shoulder going numb.
Must return, get my report to the Alpha,
Before I can stop to rest.
Home now, gave my report to the Alpha
"They are gone, six bodies now in our territory"
Unaccaptable, he says, and jumps at me.
One more kill to make before I rest.
Crouching, circling, clawing, biting,
I am the better fighter, btu I am injured.
Even match, an opening, rake his face with claws,
Blood crashes down in waves.
Tackled, clawing, biting, chest and face,
Covered in blood, twin beasts rolling about,
Time for the insurrection, claws rip through his lung,
Light fading from his eyes as his heart is pierced.
Pushing his body away, I stand, met with stares,
I beat their Alpha in single combat.
I was the new Alpha, for now, I want one thing.
I want to rest.
Back into my room, bandaged up,
My wounds will heal, layed back, eyes closed.
A soft form curls up against my side, Alpha's daughter,
Sweet girl, I will protect her, now, I sleep.
As I sleep, I dream of a better world,
Not covered by darkness, world of peace
People are happy there, never bringing weapons while stepping outside.
How strange it must have been for them
No such thing as a perfect world.
Always some little corner that is always dark.
And it grows to consume all;
Hate can exist alone, but love cannot exist without hate.
I wake up now, suddently but silently,
The girl still sleeps, strange child,
Always have been attracted to her, don't even know her name,
Perhaps this is why the Alpha wanted me dead.
An Alpha female does not go with the Omega
Too many rules, titles are given by blood
Either by birth or by death.
Family ties mean nothing but a position.
Those that run, they will return,
Bringing heavy reinforcements.
They want me dead; I beat them fifteen on one.
Next time; They all die.
This time, we are prepared, no matter how many they bring
We will bring the fight to them
Claws strapped on, I raise my gun high.
We will kill them all.
The warrior elite of my pack have assembled.
Ten, plus me, all have killed before,
This girl will join, first blood for her
It will please me to watch her kill.
They outnumber us again, five to one.
Sixty, all loaded for the hunt
A hawk lands upon my shoulder-
It is time.
Four squads, three each, move to the roof, window and street.
I keep the girl close, my ground, on the roof.
The hawk watching as Delta takes aim.
Hold your fire, wait for the shot.
Teams two and three on the street,
Low to the ground, fanned out.
These young warriors were going to die,
But they would kill their share.
Team four watching, fully crouched, through a window,
Two full-autos, plus a sniper rifle.
These three might survive,
If they cover their backs.
As I watch, the enemy gets into formation.
Three squads, loose positioning, they are prepared
So are we, time to rip it up.
Let's get ready to play.
Ground team, open fire!
Six machine full-autos blast,
Ripping through the silence,
Tearing into the enemy.
When the smoke clears, 35 bodies lie about,
Only one of four men is alive, engaging hand-to-hand.
Delta picks off his assailants one by one,
Bloody heaps falling, mangled mess of blood and bone.
I fire on those that approach our staging point
Send bullets at the enemy in waves.
Even the girl picks up a gun, fires at the mass,
Her first kill, she will never forget.
When the dust and smoke clear,
Fifteen on six, out of ammo
Window team lost the sniper.
Rest are on the roof, time for the final fight.
Line up, each side out, injured,
Delta, other three, all four start ripping it up,
Against the rest, except for two,
Staying back, watching the carnage.
Blood steam fades, none survived,
Save myself, the girl, and the two who held back.
Girl shrinks away, I must protect her,
The others will not live.
Jump at the two, lashign out with the claws,
Tackled by the young, they have claws of their own.
Returns fire, tearing and biting into flesh,
His brother turns towards the girl.
Pain-filled scream, I turn, girl cannot fight.
New adrenaline, push my foe into his brother,
Tear into them both, rip them away.
Bite into the young one's throat, the girl will be okay.
