I just got the rating for the first installment, and... uh... I don't want to go there right now. So now, anyway, on with the show!

The Fall of the Empire III
Chapter 5
(As we left off, Lokab, the Zealot with the Terran vocabulary, was under attack. Phalimin had just discovered the existence of the other races. I am going to make this chapter short to just clear out the Protoss start and get to the Terran and Zerg. So if you just don't really care to read this chapter, then go on to Chapter 6.)
"Lokab? Lokab!?!" called Phalimin into his com-link.
"I'm ok sir, I'm out," said Lokab,"I was flankes by three lings from the hatchery up front. I was able to kill
one,but the other two were hard. Mainly because that morphing structure was a sunken and had morphed in. I bairly beat the zerglings out," said Lokab a little exasperately.
"That's good Lokab, but maybe next time you should have fought a little braver. And definately NOT have said, "Uh oh, I'm screwed," said the Praetor a little jokingly. "I want you to got to the Lost Temple and wait there. Possibly in a good hiding space where you can see opposing troop movements. You will be reinforced soon."
"Ok Sir, I will report if i see any troop movements," said Lokab, who was a little embarassed.
"Computer, has that cyber. core warped in yet?" asked Phalimin to the computer. "And how many Zealots do we have at our ramp?"
"Yes sir, the cyber. core has warped in, and we have 5 Zealots at the ramp. Two are currently being fitted up sir," replied the computer.
"Ok, I want to start producing dragons. I also want to get a forge for cannons, and the tech to reavers and templar," ordered Phalimin to the computer.
As the computer started to send out orders to the probes, Phalimin sat in his chair. Breathing slightly faster. He knew of the battle that was to come now, and he was going to get ready for it...

Chapter 6
(I am currently torn between the idea of going back and having the Zerg and Terran land, which means going back in time, or continuing where the story left off with the Terran. Therefore, I am going with what I think would be the better choice, and continuing the story. I am sorry if this makes anyone mad, but I am trying to go with the popular vote, not the electoral college. On with the show!)
"Commander, this is Alpha squad. We have just destroyed the probe that has infiltrated our base. We are heading back to our positions at the front ramp," said the squad leader.
"Good job, I want four of you to hop into that bunker that was just built. The rest of you should cover the ledge," ordered Jerrjerog. Jerrjerog had noticed the probe immediately after it came in. This was not good, since it meant the Protoss now know he is there and he cannot pull a surpise attack. "Commander Gondome, I want to get a factory online, and what happened to that SCV that we sent out as a scout to the six o'clock position?"
"It was killed by a sunken colony Sir, but it was able to get inside and relay some information to us," replied Gondome.
"The Zerg are here to? Undel! I also want better SCV production. As well as an Academy online. When thats done, I want ComSat. I also want a turret near the wall in," ordered Jerrjerog. He wanted to be careful with the Zerg here. He was afraid of Lurkers. "Hamana, open a link to the Protoss Nexus. I want to have a chat with the Commander there," asked Jerrjerog.
"But Sir! Aren't we here to destroy the Protoss?" asked Hamana.
"Yes, we are. But the Zerg will be here to do the same, and I don't want to have to deal with them as well. We can backstab the Protoss later," said the Commander.
"But..!" started Hamana.
"You have your orders, Commander," said Jerrjerog a little loudly.
Hamana started to open the patch, and Undel and Gondome started to get to work on their assignments. Just then, the Academy finished, and the patch opened to the Protoss.
"Hello, Commander of the Terran Bastards. What can I do for you today?" asked Phalimin.
Jerrjerog decided to ignore the comment and started in with his message,"Hello, Commander. I hope you have noticed that the Zerg are here on Auir as well? I wanted to know if you would like to form a temporary alliance against them?" asked Jerrjerog.
"I would like nothing more than to crush the Zerg here, but I do not know if I can trust you Jerrjerog," answered Phalimin.
"You can't trust me, Commander. But, you would have to deal with both us and the Zerg if don't agree to our alliance," said Jerrjerog, a little warningly.
"Are you saying that you would form an alliance with the Zerg! Our sworn enemy since Kerrigan was born?" answered Phalimin, in a low, menacing voice.
"No, but I would gladly destroy both of you," answered Jerrjerog.
"Do not go so far as to threaten me Terran, you will regret it. But, I will agree to your "alliance". But, do not tread where you should not step," said Phalimin.
"Before you go, I must ask you one question. How did you know my name?" asked Phalimin.
"I know many things, Jerrjerog. I know more than you think," answered Phalimin as he cut the transmission.
Jerrjerog stared transfixed at the blank screen for a moment, and then snapped back to reality. "Has that factory come online yet, Gondome? And what about the SCVs and ComSat? I want more turrets around the base, as well as Marine, Medic, and Firebat training to speed up. I also want another Command Center built, as well as a second factory. If that first factory has come online, then I want two vultures produced. Once they come online, then get machine shops only the factories. The machine shops should begin research on seige mode and spider mines. I want it done quick and with perfection. Are you clear on you orders gentlemen?" asked Jerrjerog.
"YES SIR!" answered the commanders as they got on about their jobs.
Jerrjerog wanted to be able to counter for all units. Except for Terran. He was not sure who would be the most worthy advirsary yet. He got to work monitoring different statistics on troop production and ComSat results, etc. He didn't know who was about to call over his vid-screen.
"Hello Commander, am I bothering you?" asked the Emperor, Alastar.
"Oh, no Sir. I have just been reviewing some things..." answered Jerrjerog.
"Have you commenced the attack on the Protoss planet yet?" asked Alastar.
"Uhh, no sir, it's just that..." answered the Commander.
"I don't want to hear excuses, Jerrjerog! I want results, NOW!" ordered the Emperor.
"I just wanted to report that the Zerg are here as well sir," replied Jerrjerog in a fearful tone.
"The Zerg? Well, this is a new development. Do you know what ther're here for?" asked Alastar.
"We expect ther're here to destroy Auir as well..." answered Jerrjerog, a little thankfully that Alastar was no longer yelling at him.
"I want you to form an alliance with them. No questions! Just do it!" ordered Alastar as he cut his transmission.
"Uh, sir? Didn't you just form an alliance with the Protoss? asked Undel.
"Yes, I did Undel. Get the Zerg onto our transmission signals. I want to call them up," ordered Jerrjerog.
"Sir, you can't! It's the ZERG we're talkin' about here! The Protoss will definately attack us if they heard about this!" yelled Hamana.
"Are you some sort of a scared little retard? Do you think I care. The only thing I care about is not being assasinated by Alastar for not obeying his orders! You know hoe psychotic Alastar gets! Now, get the goddam Zerg on the frickin' vid-screen!" ordered Jerrjerog in a very pissed off and exasperate tone.
"Ok Sir, I'm patching them through," said Hamana.
"Good. That's all i wanted," answered Jerrjerog.
------------------------------------------------------------
Ok, I would have gone on, but i need to stop. I'm not sure whether or not you want me to go back further with the start of this chapter. Give me some good advice. The next chapter involves the Zerg. Sorry about chapter 5 being so short, but there was little to say. After the Zerg, I am going to stop having a cycle form in the races by chapters. (meaning I am not going to rotate the species in order any more), so tell me which one you want to hear about after the Zerg chapter coming up. Sorry about any typos I made.
C-ya later people. |
