Hey! Hmm, well, this game takes place at the classic Lost Temple map..our 2 players, (terran-toss) are okay players. not too gosu, but not newbs, either.. The toss goes by “DeathBlade69” and the terran is a “Mr.PinkPantherzz”. Because I always get Names mismatched with races, I decided to make it easy on you, and just call the terran, “Terran”, and the toss “toss”. The toss starts out at 6, and the terran 3…
The toss goes for the standard double gateway build, and the terran builds a Barracks/depo/Refinery. (heh..no attempt to wall in the ramp, but the terran builds the rax and depo near his CC, so I’m assuming he’s gonna wall his CC and workers in…which he doesn't. what a prick..)
After a bit, the toss musters up 12 zealots, and sends them off to the terran.
Lets take a look at their current build…
Toss: 3 gateways, 7 pylons, and a battery.
Terran: 5 depos, 2 barracks, one academy, (and one bunker being built as the zealots rush towards the ramp…)
The terran has moved most of his forces out into the open, and they just miss the zealot rush…heh. This terran needs to pull his head out of his ass. The toss is OBVIOUSLY at the advantage…
The "zealot dozen" hit’s the terrans bunker (although the terran moved a large force out, he still has some defense…)
Though, in a surprising move, the terran forces that were outside, move down into the toss’s base as the zealots hit home! an excellent planned move by Terran..he'll hit up the toss's base as it's undefended. not too new of a tactic, but it's difficult to pull off and can yield amazing and devestating results..
While the toss zealots wobbled in unison on over to the terrans main, he started an expansion at his natural, warping a nexus and pylon in.. one which was about to be raped by a group of pimps with guns.
The zealot dozen has broken through the terrans defense, and instead of heading right towards the rax or peon line, they go straight to the far end of the base and start ragging on some depos (duh…)
The terran demolished the small defense left at the toss’s main, and is heading right PAST the nexus warping in the natural, and into the main… heh, it looks like a “who can kill who the fastest” kinda game at this point…
Bad move by the terran..
Well, The terran does quite a bit of damage, (as much as you’d expect 8 or so stimmed Marines), but he just can’t out perform the "zealot dozen". They go to work fast on couple depo's, and then the rax, and THEN the peon line, whilst the terran can only manage to kill 3-4 goons that pop out of the gateways and a pylon or 2… the toss finally gets rid of the terran force via EXCELLENT use of the battery, and impressive goon dancing…
The terran sucks ass, and ends up dead. Heh.
Lessons learned:
1)WALL YOURSELF IN YOU STUPID MO-FO! Had the terran executed a proper wall in, the zealot dozen would be CRUSHED!!
Ick.
2) batteries are quite useful. damn I wish I had Screenshots to show off the beautiful goon micro shown used to kill the 8 marines and couple meds...
3) always learn to insert screenshots before going through the trouble of writing a BattleReport. (errr...)
Well, I hope this turned out to be a good BR! Maybe if I get a good grade, like 7+, I’ll keep them coming! Comments are welcome!
Heh, well, I took screenshots, but I’m an idiot, and I don’t know how to include screenshots into my BR. Duh. Well, use your imagination, and pretend that you saw all sorts of beautiful, bloody, violent, pictures filled with that gore we all know and love..
-and next time, (if you give me a reasonable rating..) I SWEAR I’ll include some excellent screenshots ;)
