Hi This is A_Monkey and this is my first hopefully much better battle report than anyones. This battle is between let_me_win (now known as Win and [com]-shado now known as com in the overplayed Lost Temple. Win chooses Zerg and some how gets them on the right. Com chooses Protoss and some how gets them on the bottom. Overmind is just watching and so is suma
Com starts by building a pylon and a gateway and an assimilator. Win starts by just mining minerals and searching for Com with his overlord and a drone which finnally gets to Com’s base on the bottom. Then win builds 2 zealots. Win then expands with a hatchery at his natural expansion and builds a spawning pool. While Com builds another gateway.
So now Com is building a cybernetics core, a forge and another 2 pylons. All the while Com is building another hatchery, and a sunken colony near his expansion and also builds 6 zerglings. Win then builds a cannon and upgrades weapons at the forge. Then Com also builds another zealot (now there are 3) and sends them to front of base for protection.
So then Win sends 6 Zerglings to attack Com but are stopped by the Zealots. So then Com builds another cannon and a citadel of adun, while win is building another hatchery near his expansion.
So after that Com builds a Templar archives and Win builds an assimilator at hi s main base. Com then builds 2 dragoons to help guard his base and a photon cannon near his gateways. At Win’s expansion he builds an assimilator, and an evolution chamber. Back at win’s main he is building a hydralisk den and another hatchery. He seems to be going mass ground because he still hasn’t upgraded to lair. Com also expands to the mineral reserve on the top of him near the main top base. (a mini-map picture to help u find this I even got confused.
Then on the opposite corner of Com’s base he builds another pylon, why, nobody knows. Win finally upgrades to lair and has an overlord Com’s mineral reserve. But then with his Templar Archives finished Com creates 2 high templar.
Then Win makes 16 Zerglings and goes to attack Com’s base.
Once the first lone zergling gets there the 3 zealots protecting it kill it. This offensive could become short if he doesn’t do a mass attack. Then once they all get there they start going up the hill but to no avail.
But then whats this 15 more zergling come and squish the 3 zealots leaving 21 zerglings to try and destroy the 3 cannons guarding Com’s base.
They get there and there are another 3 zealots and the 2 dragons from before helping the cannons so they are destroyed. Then they kill the zealots but are getting killed by the cannon and a psionic storm from the high templar.
But for better protection Com builds 3 dark templar. He moves the three dark templars, the 2 dragoons and a high templar to the entrance.
What better way then to kill protoss is there but mass force. So Win gathers 57 zergling, an overlord and a hydra to send down to Com’s base. Win is also bringing more forces down to backup this assault.
All the while Com builds another three zealots from his 3 gateways. So now at his entrance Com has 2 high templars, 2 dragoons, 3 zealots and three dark templars.
Up on top of his base Com builds a pylon, for what reason we don’t know but probably for cannons. The attack finally comes and com psionic storms and uses the zealots and dark templar to hold. But for how long can it hold. It seems to be holding but Win hasn’t used all his forces which are now in the 70s of zerglings. Probably trying to make the high templar waste energy.
The main force finally comes but the high templars still have another psionic storm in them. But this psionic storm also takes a dark templar with it.
Forces are still comin but Com seems to be holding them off. Until finally Com stops the attack but at the loss of 2 dark templar and 2 zealots. But wait Win is still herding forces above Com’s base.
Com starts to make an archon but it is defenseless and the zerglings who have finally broke the lines are killing it.
Then Win brings in 6 hydralisks and starts to rampart over the base while 2 lone high templars are building up energy to employ in psionic storms.
Then one high templar finally unleashes his storm, killing a few zerglings and 2 hydralisks. Win sends more zerglings and hydralisks, but Com has built 3 more zealots which kill 3 hydralisks. But of course Win is consantly sending in reinforcements, if the zealots die how long can the 3 cannons hold up under fire.
Win Sends 2 more hydralisks in. They kill a zealot but are killed by the other 2. But In the backround Com creates an archon and moves it to the front lines along with the 2 remaining zealots, and are attacked by Win’s horde.
The zerg eventually take the archon and the zealots, but at a great expense. In the backround 3 dark templars are produced to help the defense. Win breks through them and moves toward the gateways, but there is another dark and another high templar waiting.
The Zergs kill the dark templar and are attacking the cannons and one is destroyed. Win sends in hydralisks to help. Com makes 3 zealots to kill the force. Guess what the 3 zealots stop the attack but are killed and Win sends in more zerglings.
Win Continually sends more and more Zerg units and Com makes three more zealots. The zergs kill one cannon and are being attacked by the zealots and a forgotten High templar and his psionic storm.
Com thinking his base is lost builds a robotics facility and makes two shuttles with probe and sends to the base on the extreme right of the map. He goes over to the base and builds a nexus 2 pylons, a gateway, and a templar archive. As this is happening more hydralisks are coming and attacking the gateways from out of the cannons range. 2 more zealots come out and are killed in honor of defending their base. The zergs break through kill the cannons and destroy Com’s main base.
Somehow Win finds Com’s expansion and since nothing has warped in Win Destroys everything but a pylon. Then he lagged and was dropped from the game, but not before he gives Com a helpful hint in Strategy against zerg that states: “U should have attacked with the zealots I only had a sunken colony.
