As ussual, the most used map in sc was used for the 1v1 between 7th-Carni ( aka: Carni-Swarm ) and RazoR^DAG^. Both got off to normal starts supply depot after 8 and barracks on 11, then they both built up their economy, but 7th-Carni didnt go factory as early because he decided to make a second barracks instead. The position of it was rather amusing.



RazoR^DAG^ continued on his merry way by adding two starports, whilst 7th-Carni focused on the production of marines in his "hidden" barracks. The game progressed smoothy, 7th-Carni starts to build two starports and one engineer bay whilst RazoR^DAG^ is starting to mass a wraith squadron. It was then he noticed a group of 4 marines coming out of the right hand side of his base...



Both players then started working on strategy's to win the game, RazoR^DAG^ with little micro killed off the four marines and went on his merry way by bashing the hell out of the lonely barracks. He then went strong air (wraiths) with a few valks and a few siege tanks for some extra defense. 7th-Carni on the otherhand suprisingly started making three barracks to support his two starports and one factory which only produced a few tanks. It was obvious one of them was going to turbo newb, but which one...?



No it didnt go to well.. Seconds after the tank was dropped 6 wraiths destroyed and fled home after recieving some damage from the turret. It was at this point of the game, some other observers other than myself noticed the amount of marines being produced from 7th-Carni's numerous barracks. At this stage of the game, 7th-Carni had 2-2 level marines ( upgrades ) whilst RazoR^DAG^ had +2 attack on both air and ground units. Both players had taken their unatural expansions yet there was a significant advantage to the number of workers of RazoR^DAG^ hence.. more money.. more mech units.

When it came down to pure massing, terran marines were to be no match to upgraded goliaths and tanks, at least somone figured out what 7th-Carni was missing.. it was about this stage in the game he expanded to the top left island which was only found at the very end of the game. RazoR^DAG^ stuck with the opening positions and took bottom middle. It was there that we encountered our first big war....



After being pushed pretty hard, by a army fit for a king.. erm or zerg RazoR^DAG^ pushed on two seperate armies. One to the middle right patch on the map, and one to 7th-Carni's unatural expansion, the results where devestating and the pictures tell the story. But 7th-Carni was not out of the game he was able to repel the attacking forces with a combo of m/m's, after losing his unatatural expansion he took it back again and the middle left unatatural expansion. While RazoR^DAG^ expanded to middle left and its natural expansion, he soon found the unatural expansion that was below his middle left cliff and hammered it with a few tanks. Our sneeky friend 7th-Carni was at it again with a m/m army heading to the bottom middle unatural expansion and one to the middle left expansion, thats where these scenes begin..



And just like that it was over, I hope you enjoyed reading this battle report. The players had fun playing it, and I had some fun making it for you guys to read. The winner of the terran vs terran matchup was RazoR^DAG^ who played very well, thanx to both players for playing. And also a note of credit to Breeze for the original 3d lost temple imagine featured at the top of the site.

Lessons Learnt 1. Marines are weak terran vs terran even with Medic support and Firebat, they get eaten my air and mech. 2. If you plan on going Marines vs a good terran player make mass ghosts and lockdown or they will get creamed! :) 3. Terran vs Terran is ussually turbo newbie rush ( cliff drop ) so have somthing like a vulture/waraiths patrolling it. Go to http://scn.net-games.com for cool stuff.
