WARNING!! Feel free to read this paragraph that has absolutely nothing to do with anything. Why is it in here, you ask? Well it's in here simply because I need to fill space. Not only that, I would like for those of you slow as modem users to be able to read this battle report as well, so this text will be a good waste of time for you while the images load =p Alright, I think I've included enough nonsense now for at least the first image to load on your slow 14.4 modems - Have fun reading my boring battle report!

Alt-X: The Worst Player I have ever seen.
Aslan-X: Same as above.
Aristocrat-X: Same as above.
Spookage..: He Sucks and is NEWBIE!
Alt-X and Aslan-X (both being toss) begin with nearly identical build orders in the north - 8 Probe, Pylon, Gateway, Assimilator, and then Cybernetics Core.
They then diverge: Alt-X goes 1 stargate and then robotics, and then citadel (I prefer 1 stargate approach). In contrast, Aslan-X goes 2 stargates, a forge, and then a robotics. They appear to want to contain Aristocrat-X and Spookage.. using corsairs while at the same time expanding (and therefore overpowering).
On the other side, Aristocrat-X (as a Terran) builds a Supply Depot, Oil Refinery, Barracks, Factory, another Factory (both with add-ons), and then a Stargate. He obviously is going towards a tank drop. His partner, Spookage.., goes all drones, then a 2nd hatch, an extractor, a spawning pool (late one), and then proceeds to do a double lair and hydralisk den. It appears that he plans on going hydralisk drop.
As the game goes on, Alt-X and Aslan-X's corsairs kill a lot of Spookage..'s overlords. Since most of Spooks' (his new abbreviation) overlords die, he can't build any hydralisks so he has to build an evolution chamber and spore colonies so that he can protect his newly spawning overlords. While this is happening, Alt-X already has a shuttle ready and expands to the right of him. Aslan-X builds a 2nd gateway and multiple photons to protect his base.

Now that Spooks' overlords are protected, he begins to build hydralisks, preparing for his drop. At the same time, Aslan-X's corsairs manage to kill 1 of Aristocrat-X's 2 shuttles. It looks like Aristocrat-X's planned tank drop won't be happening anytime soon.
Meanwhile, Aslan-X expands in the right center island on both the top and the bottom bases.
However, he is met with a lurker drop from Spooks, who manages to kill many probes, a photon, and some zealots. Red quickly builds an observatory so that he can regain control of his base.
Although Spooks' lurkers kills many of Aslan-X's probes, at the same time, Alt-X kills many of Aristocrat-X's SCVs with a dark templar drop. Since Spooks lost the overlord he had at Aristocrat-X's base and never sent a replacement, the dark templar manages to do even more damage to Aristocrat-X's economy than it should have.
Even though Aristocrat-X doesn't have that many minerals, he dropped six tanks on Aslan-X's expansion and manages to kill one of the nexuses before the dark templar in that expansion kills the tanks. At this point, Aslan-X finally kills the lurkers that Spookage.. brought to his base.
After Aristocrat-X's tanks are all dead, Spooks sends out more hydras to kill Aslan-X's dying expansion (noticeably forgetting to build expansions himself). Aristocrat-X meanwhile builds two command centers, probably planning on floating them to nearby islands.
Alt-X, realizing that his expansion is unprotected, decides he needs a forge...
and eventually builds up enough courage to protect his base with photons.
He soon finds Aristocrat-X's newly floated command centers with an observer and sends his 4 dropships full of zealots, dragoons, and templars to annihilate the expansions. Aristocrat-X tries unsuccessfully to defend his expansions with the turrets he bought so he ends up losing both expansions.
Spooks, who still hasn't expanded, sends a relatively large drop to Aslan-X, and does a lot of damage until Alt-X sends 2 templars and a dark templar to save Aslan-X's ass.
Immediately after, Spooks finally decides to expand in the base right on top of him. Unfortunately, Aslan-X finds this expansion and manages to annihilate it with 1 dropship of zealots.
By now you must be wondering what Aristocrat-X has been trying to do offensively. Well he manages to fill two dropships with tanks, but then loses it as his dropships make a stroll around Alt-X's base. However, he does manage to make another expansion in the center left expansion (even though red's observer sees it) and defends it with multiple turrets that he builds.
Now, Spooks lack of expansions is starting to affect him. First he tries to destroy Alt-X's expansion, VERY unsuccessfully.
Then he makes another attempt at Aslan-X's main base, which also fails.
Finally, Alt-X drops 5 full shuttles of troops at Spooks main base and kills Spooks.
As Alt-X is finishing off Spooks...
Aristocrat-X attempts another drop onto Alt-X's main with nearly multiple tanks and around 4 marines. As can be seen, two or three psi storms manage to reduce the attack to nothing. Immediately after, all of Spooks buildings are destroyed by Alt-X and he leaves the game.
Aristocrat-X, realizing that his chances of winning are less than 1% because in his opinion, "terran can't beat two toss on islands." I completely agree with him on this point :) We all know the game is clearly over and Alt-X and Aslan-X win.
GOOD MANNER!
Based on the end scores, it is apparent that Alt-X dominated the game (obviously because he expanded the earliest - something I would do =p). Was the game close? It was a close game, and Aristocrat-X and Spookage..'s team may have won the game if they were more careful. For example, Aristocrat-X should have at least built an academy and comsat in case of dark templars or even some turrets around his main base to prevent his beginning loss of multiple scvs. Also, Spookage.. had many hydras and lurkers throughout the game, he also had more fighting units than Alt-X and Aslan-X for quite a while. If I were him, I would have expanded one or two times, and destroy Alt-X and Aslan-X's expansions instead of concentrating on their main bases. Of course, Alt-X and Aslan-X did play rather well, and I'm surprised that Aslan-X was able to survive Spookage..'s never-ending attacks on his main base.
Oh by the way, this is my first battle report. I know that game wasn't as good as it could be, so deal with it! Next time, I'll be sure to find a better game to do a battle report for so that it can be more interesting. Have a nice day!
