I randomed, and he chose Protoss, I ended up with Protoss as well. On this game at The Lost Temple, I was at 9:00 unsure where he was. I already knew what Iwas going to do, so I skipped the second gateway in favor of early gas and Cybernetics Core. With the 17th Probe I went to scout 12:00, and found him expanding there. Normally I would rush in with my two Zealots I have and rip that place down, but I agreed to a know rush game, stuck to my word, and headed up the road to Reavers.

I know he has the advantage in resources, but I have the upper hand in units. I also know that he can't have much money at home because he made a Pylon and a second Nexus at that expansion.

Back at my base, I've started the Robotics Facility and forge, and I'm putting up cannons at my hill and around my buildings to protect me from any Dark Templar tactics, even though I've seen no sign of any yet. Also, my scouting Probe scouted 3:00 and saw that he wasn't there, but I met the opposing scouting probe. No conflict, however, both probes go their own ways unharmed.

Now, we both know where the other one is but haven't seen their base yet. I'm going to run my probe up his ramp and get a good look at his buildings. If I'm lucky, he doesn't have any Photons/Zealots quite yet, because his expansion is setting him back.

Well I get a good run through his town and see a forge, a Gateway, and a few pylons and assimilator. But what he does next is a big help. My Probe runs through his minerals…

All the mining probes start chasing it! What he's doing is really stupid, but I won't argue with him. His Probes actually follow mine down the ramp, and I decide to lead them into my group of Zealots of my hill, but I think he realizes that what he's doing is stupid and turns back.

This was a big victory for me, he stopped mining and it will take him a little bit to get all his probes back to business, I feel like distracting him a little more to give me time to get the Reavers, because I have a support Bay now. My Probe's going back in.

Think he overreacted? Four Photon Cannons is quite a bit for stopping a probe, but being that they're not done yet, I'll walk right in. Also, notice only one pylon powers his cannon, I make a note of this for later.

Well, I accidentally ran the little probe that could into the little probes that kill and that was the end of the fun probe tag games for today. The next game would be much more deadly, because now I have two fully loaded reavers and a shuttle. Also, I'm not sure I mentioned this, but during this time I'm constantly making Zealots and Dragoons. I don't want an offensive coming out of that expansion up there that I can't handle, being that I haven't touched it yet.

Well, the drop goes well, he has photons back there, but they're too far from the ledge and they're unable to stop my drop. So the Reavers get of and do what they do best, kill stuff.

After relieving him of his Photon cannons, I go for his Core tech tree structure, the Cybernetics core. Also, that swirly blue thing next to the core is a stargate, which has me a bit worried about his other base and I make a lot of Dragoons at my main.

Here we have the brilliant "My Probes can take 'em" technique. Not so, his probes are blown up 4 at a time and I go back to killing his cybercore. I also take out the pylons around his Stargate to make it useless. One scout popping out of there can ruin my reaver's day.

With that, I proceed to raze the rest of his main, I think he's given up on it, because nothings trying to stop my reavers. This has me semi-worried, and I'm guessing he's upping the defenses at his expansion. I don't have a screen shot of this, but I also made a citadel of Adun and a Templar Archives at my base because I think Dark Templars are going to have a key role in my next attack.

Well I sent a zealot to his expansion only to have it chopped and gunned down by cannons and zealots. Once again, he's doing the elite "One Pylon will be plenty" rule that will screw him in the end, just wait. Also, during the time I was attacking his main, I upped defenses at my main and I'm prepared to expand just outside of my base.

I had dropped 4 Dark Templar at his expansion, but 3 were killed by photon cannons and probes that lured them into the cannons. One, however, managed to kill a few probes and cause the rest to run away, I guess he learned from that Probe assault he did on my probe a few minutes ago. I have him in a good position now. Any probes that try to mine will get chopped up, and I don't think he's expanded anywhere else. Also, I'm very surprised to see he hasn't started gas at this expansion! Especially with the stargate going up, and I forgot to mention he had one up at this base as well.

Surprise, Cyanide! Two reavers now complement that Templar at your base! Notice I'm ridding him of detection at the time. Man! I wish I took a screenshot of this, but I must have been too into the battle. He attacked this force with about 8 Zealots, but thanks to my Dark Templar and him being detection free, I only lost a Reaver. I do have a shot of the results, though.

Well that was it, I started killing stuff with my Reaver, he said GG and I responded with a GG and left. The moral(s) of this story, kiddies, are:

Don't totally halt all mining just to kill a scouting probe! That's the worst thing you can do in that situation.
Guard your flank, for heaven's sake! I totally ripped this guy apart because he didn't have any response to my drops.
Expanding early is fine if you think you'll be able to handle it, but it's also a good idea to expand when you're ready. I had just started expanding when the game was near the end and I beat him in resources by almost double.
