Lifetime Rating for Whoop: 6.9130 |     | Ok ok so this report gonna suck big time but DANG it was fun to play vs a legend.
Ok so im in nohunters....ahscar and me looking for a 2v2. Of course none of the people in nohunters want to get stomped by us so we are sittin around when X-D's Crow and some dude name clittie burger show up. THey lookin for 2:2 so we play em.
Make a short game even shorter.....they rushed us and came for me. I was goin 4 hatch lings, and after we got rid of em we countered and killed em. Back in channel Crow says again? We say ok.
So we sittin in the channel and crow says just one second....so we wait and then X-D's grrrr shows up. Uh oh. Well me and Ahs are like 100-0 as a team so I feel pretty good but then again this is Grrr we are talkin about.
Its on temple and grrr picks toss and starts at 6. Crow randoms to terran at 9. I random to terran at 12, and ahs gets random zerg at 3.
They start things off with a zeal rush at ahs. Welp I send some rines over to help and do a little dancing till his sunken finishes. Grrr repulsed we head down to his base where he is warping in a nexus. We got some lings and some rines and an scv. I start a bunker at the base of the ramp and we attack. Somehow he has enough zeal to kick our ass but my bunker finshes and its damn close but he kicks our ass.
We look to go again but crow the wiley bastard has been busy bunkering me and ahs. DOH. I try to break out but i get sent back home. I am able to expand and tech up to fact and star port. They are REALLY putting the pressure on ahs so I check and discover only a bunker and a couple rines holding me in, so I bust out and go help ahs. I kill a lot but the containment holds. I send 2 tanks in a dropship to Grrs natural ledge and on the way realize there is a couple tanks on ahs's ledge. I drop my unsieged tanks off close to his sieged ones and ahs never said thanks. Then I turbo newbie grrr. Ahs uses some lurkers and hydra to finally bust out. We go to grr only to discover he not only has his second natural but a CRAP load of goons.
*side note there wasnt a whole lot of time that passed thus far yet grrr has a his natural with 4 gates there and probably 20 goons - dont doubt it this was the real deal*
So we are send packing. Meanwhile I am setting up shop on terran's ledge only to discover he is taking his own ledge. A mini tank battle ensues and I win, shutting down his natural.
Meanwhile ahs has made some lurkers and Grrrr has neglected detection. As the tide begins to sway Crow says something odd like "I suck bad grr will do better with out me" and quits.
We send more and mroe men and grrr concedes.
2 things were quite amazing to me. FIrst was I expanded quite soon in the game (suprise) and grr outresourced me even after he lost his natural. Geez, he outresourced me by 3000. Second was that he was goin PURE macro and had no tech units at all. Had he mixed in a robo bay and observery he probably woulda won 2v1, thats how many goons he had.
Soo me and Ahs beat X-D'ss crow and grrr. This goes to prove that A-X owns all (especially purple clan) |
