No picture needed, plus i dont know how to put it in :) .
Well, this is my FIRST br, so plz, go easy on the suckage factor. I was in nohunters, and heard that DinoDin wanted a 1v1, Saladar~Lizard opted, saying in the line of "o i will, own me" sorry if thats not toally right but hey, its a game.
Well heres the info:
DinoDin- 3 o'clock-zergie
Saladar~Lizard- 9 o'clock-protoss
Well heres a start, Dino decides to go late on the pool and saves 300 to make the hatchery at his ramp. He solidifys his economy and goes kinda late on the pool. Saladar decides to go double gate. When the hatchery at Dinos ramp is all done, BAM the first 2 zealots pop out, they go straight to the zerg and begin the assault on the 2 zlin defended hatchery. They completely blow by the 3RD hatchery already started at Dinos gimme!!! after about 8 zlins, coming 2 at a time, after those pesky zealots are all dispursed of, Dino begins more zlins, about 6-10 i believe.
Now what does the toss have? 2 gates a core going and a forge, yes and even a citadel. look at this, dino has pool tech while Saladar is working on the Citadel, well no matter. The toss may have a citadel and o yes another warping gateway, but what does that zergie have? 3 hatceries, an exp almost fully operational, and hes got the money to really pump some zlins. Dino decides he should be a risk taker, and makes a hydra den, yea took a while Dino :). There really arent any big battles, until this happens, this really has only been really about a minute from the zealot attack, so that crazy zerg decides to send up 12 zlins, to check out what tossie has, and maybe wreck some of it. So he does, he encounters about 3 zealots 4 goons and HTs are starting to come in to play. the attack does some damage, and another wave is sent in ,this kills every troop and only the cannons are left to kil about 10 zlins, since Saladar made his base tight, those zlins had to really work to get to those cannons. He makes it and seeing that the cannons might win he retreats the 4 zlins left, 3 die in that process, only the temp archives is out of reach of the cannons, so Dino decides to hit what he can, then BAM SACK POW deon peon comes to the rescue, him and little billy bob (im damn original, j/k) go and handle that stupud zlin, apparetly dino wasnt paying attention because the zlin did not turn to fight, o well better for deon, he gets to show that zlin some nice fusion cutter action, the zlin dies fast to the probes without a fight.
zealots are coming up now. Now nothing happens for a few minutes, giving the toss time to take his gimme. now having a robo fac and bay, with a stargate, he makes a few sairs, and then he takes the gimme. what does the zerg have? he has gotten a spire, queens nest, that and a hive begins, so far tech looks equal ,along with army size. well next salard takes a few sairs and scouts the map, he finds the zerg and begins to beat and neuronalize those pesky fatass slow moving overlords, a few hydras are quickly sent and the corsairs run. they fly over the 12o clock to see, o NO the zerg has taken that place. well thats it, its go time. salard takes a reaver in a shuttle, drops it in the line and kills alot of drones at the fresh expansion, about 7 mutas run in and do what they can do destroy that reaver. Seeing that the exp is rather lightly defended, about 2 spores and 3 sunkens, he rushes in with his 10 zealots, 1 archon, 2 HT army. unfortunatly, Saladar lacked to pay attention to his slow HTs, then they get mopped by some mutas, BUT he sees the fast moving white death and checks the HT, he lets those mutas swarm, then BAM SACK POW the equalizer, PSI rips over, it gets about 3 mutas and the poor HT, the other mutas rip down the archon, then they finish off the zealots, with some zlin help. now its looking bad for blue, he has one expansion, O WAIT no he doesnt, while this was happeneing, the zerg sent a zlin to scout the toss, to find an undefended exp, well none the less, he runs in 5 lurkers and destroys it. so now the toss has what? o yes one base and a random amount of goons, zealots, arcs, and 1 DT. now its looking bad, the zerg has about 4 exps, since he took the natural at the 12 o clock, so thats about 5 hatceries and 3 of them being used to get resources, the 1200 gimme is just waiting for the drones from other EXPs to be sent to mine so supplys arent wasted, if u didnt know. well this is bad, the toss'es mineral patches are looking mined out, while the zerg has about the rest of the map. so now the zerg has teched, hes got his queens and defliers, with plague and the queens got broodling for those big HTs. well now it all happens, the crap hits the fan. well now the zerg rolls up, with about 17 zlins and 4 hydras, now, we have a breakthrough.
Dinodin, does the new strat, dino made, iplay named, "THE SWARM PUSH". this is just simple dark swarms placed and used to push back the opposing army, then the swarm is cast again, just keeping this up . this proves to be VERY ineffective against archons :). now the toss has decided to be a smartass and start a nexus at the 6 o 'clock, dino, using burrow as his best friend to watch that exp, sends 12 zerglings to dispurse the threat . 3 cannons start and finish as the zlins arive, he loses the 3 cannons to the completely stimmed zlins, that adrenal gland, constant stim. well those cannons fall, and the exp is almost LOST, but then 2 reavers comin, they easily get those zlins all blown up, then those damn mutas come in to stop that threat, and finish the nexus, now u remember those sairs, well they died, to about 3 devs. now its pretty much over, the "swarm push" has gotten into the bases direct path. now the 3 archons and 1 goon are all that stop the ever growing force, the next swarm is cast to far up, and the protoss forces manage to get in, easyily handeled, the zerg retreats. the zerg now destroy those archons and goon, now that the protoss has NO money, he remarked about wanting to make scarabs, but um, yea u know. well the zerg we will sayt one it with just actually zerglins, the last invasion was pure zlins, the 3 cannon no unit defended base stand little to the 20 zerglings. Dinodin begins hatcheries in the protoss base and slows down his killing rate, me, the observer want a before and after shot of the base, but hey saladar decides he doesnt want to , so he leaves. now the screen comes up with i lost and i leave the game.
LESSONS LEARNED:
1. defending expansions is a VERY GOOD IDEA.
2. When u c alot of zlins, make sure to get UPGRADED archons, and zealots, the UPGRADES will win the battle for those archons.
3. Expand after attacks, especially against a toss, their units take the longest to build, giving u the most time to expand without a BIG threat.
4. I really shouldnt write BRs any more, and never will again, depending on what this gets (3 or below).
5. Defilers are GREAT units, use them and zlways bring them some zlins, causezlins taste good to defilers and when they eat them they get happy and can do a better swarm puch.
6. SWARM PUSH, try that, but dont use it vs archons, cause u can only fit about 12 hydras in a DS and in caseu didnt know, archons rip down hydras, if hydras arent MASS.
7. before u write ur first BR spoligize to the players like i did, because man i knew this would suck, and if it embarrased them, hehehe sorry.
ok guys well thats my first BR, if someone, such as YRM or anyone can tell me an EASY way to add pictures i would love that, i have some nice pics but i cant use them because of my computer knowledge, well lack of it, i do NOT know HTML, so find another way. thanx in advance. GG dino and Saldar
