Lifetime Rating for T.T.Boy: 7.1250 |   | Well, I am in nohunters and won a couple so far tonight, so I am looking for my 200th b-net win. I don't see any action in NH so I check the public list. I see 2v2 temple and join. Ok, I am fourth man in. My patner's name I forgot, sorry. Our opponents in TVB were gx-soso and X'Ds~Grrr... Now at first I didn't believe them. They crushed us in the game, but that still didn't convince me cause lots of people can crush me.
On to the brief battle report: We were both protoss at 12 and 6, they were both zerg at 3 and 9. My scout probe got eaten by lings on the way, so I did what I could, zeal in the min line, probes on attack move, and braced for impact (head between my legs, you know like they do on airplanes about to crash). Well, I beat the first 6, but the second 6 wiped me out. I asked them not to kill me so I could watch and they obliged, but would not share vision which is what I really wanted so I could learn from two of the absolute masters of the game (maybe).
Then there was about a ten minute lull in the action, which threw me from thinking these guys were legit, but I kept asking them questions about themselves and they answered in rather cryptic ways that didn't give me a feeling one way or another if they were the real McCoy. They said they were watching t.v. and chatting on another computer which is why they didn't kill my partner instantly. When they did come at him, I saw no godlike micro, which I wanted to see, I only saw macro tons of lings and hydras on attack move. My partner put up a good fight and expanded to the islands, but that only delayed the end, when about 12 guards each simultaneously went at both islands, eliminating my partner. Well, I again asked for vision, but didn't get it, but they did ally with me (they asked me first) for my 200th victory (hollow as it was, but a loss against 2 of the top 10 in the world is nothing to be ashamed of).
Well, the BR was lame-o, but I am looking to you, my faithful readers, to comment on if you think I really did play against gx and xd surfing in a pubbie on bnet. I would think if they were bored, they would just smurf with different names and not be bombarded with questions (by me or others) pestering them for advice, or trying to determine their validity.
