Map-Mega Hunters (I created this map myself)
Player 1-[r]DreadNaught (blue)
Player 2-Syphon-X (white)
It is important that the reader first understand a few things about this BR: I made it at 1 am in the morning, the map is 256x256 and looks a lot like Hunters but with tons more resource nodes scattered about, Syphon-X is a good friend of mine and anything he said during the game is not true (well, he says its not true but I'm still skeptical about it).
This is to be the first installment out of 5, yeah, that's right, 5!! The battle took a total of 4 and a half hours to complete, and this first entry is just to set the seen and things like that, I have no intention of beginning the battle with this report. There will be no pictures with Part I either.
I started at the northern left position with Syphon at the middle right position. He is protoss, and I am terran. I wish we could have gotten a zerg player but I was too lazy to find one and blah blah blah you get the picture.
Part I will also dive into the build orders of each player, the early build orders that is (when I say # scvs-2 depots, that means the total number of depots I have at that point)
Dread's chain of construction: 7 scvs-depot, 9 scvs-barracks, 10 scvs 2 barracks, 14 scvs-2 depots, 15 scvs-refinery and 2 depots, 20 scvs, factory, 22 scvs-2 factories, 24 scvs expanse and academy.
That was my construction order, keep in mind that all the while I'm churning out units.
Syphon's warping order: 7 probes-pylon, 9 probes-gateway, 10 probes-2 gateways, 11 probes-2 pylons, 13 probes- refinery, 15 probes-expanse numero uno (one in many, I can assure you), 16 probes-cybernetics core, 17 probes-5 pylons, 20 probes-stargate.
Helpful information
Here are some things that the reader MUST keep in mind during this whole battle- you can't have more than 200 supply, this map is 256x256, so it takes a LONG time to walk across it, there are enough minerals on this map (it is NOT BGH!!!, there are just a lot of expanse places with 7 or 8 nodes at them each with 1500 minerals in each) to power a fleet of a 100++ cruisers, Syphon doesn't really think I'm all the things he calls me.
