Lifetime Rating for Straz2: 4.2000 |   | I was in nohunters looking for a game. I was lucky, and almost immediatly Bob_The_Newt asked for a partner in a 2on2. He told me to join a 2v2 dont lag, and i did. The map was Dire Straits. Bob (Brown) was top left. I was Bottom Left. We both drew Terran. When he asked what strat i was going i sad 2 raz float. He was going wraiths. On 9 i started my barrACKS, on 10 my depot.
I started my second barrax right after my depot finished. I built a few more SCV and started flying over. About 1 3rd of the way there i built a refinery and an academy. I built 4 marines, 1 bat, and 2 medics. I hotkeyed the 2 barracks to keep up production. i comsated his base. he had 2 lairs, gas, a hydra den and a spawning pool. no men. i quickly moved in. he quickly started a creep colony and attack ith his drones. i microed the firebat to toast the drones. The fanatical zerg workers managed to kill him, and started on my marines. Then a few hydras popped, i could either let the hydras go and kill the colony, or kill the hydra. I chose to kill the hydras. I sent over 3 marines i had at the barracks. Witht he medics and reinforcements i managed to kill the 6 hydra. Some more eggs were morphing. The sunken popped and got 3 shots off before dieing to the grim marines fire. In one last gasp his new 3 hydra and several drones attacked, only to be gut down in a hail of U-238 shells. He left moments before i destroyed his last building.
My ally Bob_The_Newt ahd built several wraiths and was OL hunting in the other zergs base. After killing 2 lords the hydras forced him back.I teched up, struggling to make up for the time lsot in my rax drop. I built about 12 mariens at home for defense, and built 2 starports. first i built 3 wraiths, then a few sci vessels. i researched Irradiate, a tactic that has served me well in games before. Then 5 lords came to Bobs base. His 15 marines, several medics, and 8 or so wraithsdid away with the hydra, and he managed to kill 4 of the 5 overlord. I kept building Scv vessels, and we worked together on raids. He went in first and killed some OL. Whne hydra came i would irradiate them. 2 overlords came to my base, and dropped off there cargo, but were stopped quickly.
We we continued our raids non stop, my 8 sci vessles and his 10 or so wraiths. |
