Preface:
Me and my partner, Cutthroat, were trying to outfight Battle.net hopelessly against no-join-yo-game barriers and u-lag-so-bad-that-u-gonna get-dropped that we abandoned our hopes of a 2v2 and settled on a 1v1 on a map I'd never played but heard a lot about... SHOWDOWN!

I gratiously receive the Terrans in shining Blue armor, while my malicious opponent snags the once-noble Green Protoss. Green. Ack. I cannot hope to fight against Green. I inform my opponent of a descision to leave and perhaps recreate on UMS, but he bullies me into playing against someone with the way-cool Green.

The First Attack:
So I go on innocently teching when 2 Zealots pop up at my door! I almost kill the first with Marine fire but half my marines are dead so I have them wander around and shoot the Zealot when they need to deal with their anger for a while until it goes up in a poof of blue smoke with 3 red-hp Marines for me. So I make a bunker and grab my pair of shiny Vultures, ordering them down into the heart of Green territory.

The EEK! Factor:
They arrive safely outside the green walls ready to pump some grenades into the mechanical hides of some enemy Probes when I notice three blurs majestically stalking my Vultures. Eek. The Dark Templar are out for the hunt. So I look at my base. No Comsat. No Turrets. No Science Vessal. No Engineering Bay. No Academy. No Science Facility. What words of wisdom come to me in this moment? Oh SHI-er, EEK! All 3 promptly start and my Vultures are evacced.

My tanks, loaded up in my Dropship for a Drop Royale and safely out-of-the-way, are floated over to my island and I watch in terror as the cloaked assassins maul my Turret-building SCVs. They also maul the Comsat, many a terrified and running SCV, and both my Academy and Engineering Bay. The heroic Science Vessal emerges from the Starport and spots the warriors of the night, allowing the bunkered Marines to maul two of them and seriously wound another, but the third escapes and slashes my depots, but my Vulture kills them.

Eye for a freaking Eye!:
I haven't a prayer, right? 5 SCVs and no depots = no chance. Wrong. I start to rebuild and my Tanks are transported to my foes cliff, where they proceed to seige and maul his Probe lines. I also slowly rebuild my depots at this time. Two Dark Templar join my Tanks on the cliff, but I unseige and drop them unseiged below the cliff! This results in two Dark Templar below the cliff as well as several dead probes =]. So... shall we return to the cliff? The Tanks do, and he shuttles his Dark Templar back up while I unseige and Drop back down =]. But he's tired of this game and so leaves a Dtemp above and a Dtemp below. But I'm not so I drop my Tanks on the cliff on the OTHER side of his base! This has the grand effect of killing 2 young Dragoons and a Pylon, before I reunseige due to a invisible cloak billowing in the wind. So I send my Tanks over to his expansion and return to the massing of my beloved SCVs (weeps for the fallen SCVs and resists the urge to pour malt liquor on the parched ground) while I pound on the probes and Nexus of his expansion! =]

A Dark Templar is dropped to solve this, too, so I lift off and seige my now-solo Tank on his ridge and pound the Nexus into oblivion with two shots. Thus satisfied, I loaded up the battle-hardened Tank and headed home.

Return of the Terran-bashing:
I'd started Wraith production after my second SV, was making a CC to float over to my island expansion when i noticed a small fleet of Corsairs making jokes to each other there with a guinea pig Science Vessal. I also Irradiated the Dtemp at his island =]. I cloaked the wraiths and mobbed the Corsairs when I noticed Dragoons sitting in my choke! I had a Vulture lay a few mines, all of which scored a target leaving mucho goon blood to be swallowed greedily by the desert earth. But the goons came on, and were assisted by Dark Templar, as well as a pincer Reaver drop from the other side! Fortunatly, my vicious Tank never made it all the way home, and drops on MY ledge to end the threat of the reavers while DMatrixed Marines have some choice words with the hapless goons. This all said and done, I had lost 2 Tanks, several marines, 2 depots and my academy =[. I rebuilt and started a defense for my new island expansion.

Rinse, Lather, Repeat:
My foe attacked my main in the exact same manner as before, but I took fewer losses and fortified my island expansion some more as a lucky Templar did in 4 SCVs. I dropshipped SCVs from my dried main to my new expansion and killed a wanna-be innocent observer. A trio of Wraiths soared down to his new expansion at his natural and many a probe, as well as wiping out the Nexus's sheilds before a force of Dragoons arrived and I chose to retreat.

My expansion, please!
But those goons were making their way to my base, but the Marines took no liking to them and dragged the poor once-a-virgin-but-not-always-a-virgin Medics along for some Goon-hunting. They then proceeded to my natural expansion along with an escort of two Tanks. Some Dragoons dropped by to say hello, but left as though I'd said something rude =[. Goons, a infantry-splicing storm, and a Reaverly duo gave me and my forces a haughty lesson against being so rude to the Protoss. But I Wraithed his Shuttle as the Reavers tried to make it home =]. So I went back to the drawing board and sent another force to secure my expansion and this time bunkered up the infantry as well as having additional Tanks to deal with those pesky Templar. A storm on my SCVs reminded me of the cliff, so I stuck a Tank in the crack of the minerals and a SV on top of the cliff. At this time, my island minerals ran out so I dropshipped my SCVs down to where the action was now at and decided a third expansion would be truly nice to have.

There were things I'd need to deal with first though. Among them, Probes mining the other side of the central expansions! I quickly dropped a duo of Tanks there just to say a firm 'No'. Zeals killed 'em, but the price was worth it. Unfortunatly, Zeals were also marching on my new expansion, and killed both tanks and many marines before being wisped away by Terran fire. TWO Reavers had walked to my expansion by this time, and all I had was my Bunker! Thankfully the Reavers stepped too close and bit the dust for it.

Game Over:
I double-nuked his expansion/cannons and sent my fleet of Wraith to his still-cannonless natural, resulting in my clannie-opponent's cry of surrendur. I saved the game tho, mebbe I'll get a screenshot then =]. Suffice to say, I think he was dead anyway.
