RS-Urug Brown
protoss,
bottom right starting location.

-pitt- did a basic build
by massing scv's in his mineral line, having each one attack seperate patches,
he got a depot first, then gas, then a rax, then another depot, and finally
a second rax. before long he had also placed an academy, engineering bay,
and a factory. Urug was making probes instead of SCV's, and also went pylon-gas-gateway-pylon-pylon-cybercore.
He seemed to be going for a dt drop, it would've worked except for -pitt-
was much faster at his drop. He had 2 dropships with 1 tank, 9 marines,
and 3 medics (roughly) all of which we're headed towards his base.
Urug's templar archives was
just warping in, and he only had a fwe cannons for base defense. Since
he could'nt hold this base with out dt help, he loaded a few probes into
his shuttle he would plan on dropping dt with.. He took an island, and
started a few cannons and a nexus right before his last building, a starport,
would have finished. Seeing as he would need more tanks to penetrate the
defense, pitt expanded to 2 islands simeltaniously and also started a nuke
silo on both CC's.Urug started a citadel and a templar archives.
When pitt had 4 dropships
he loaded 1 up with two tanks, and set siege to the island Urug owned,
by killing off 2 cannons and a pylon from the island below. He then dropped
his marine/medic force on the island and leveled most of it. Urug knew
that he could lose the game here, so once again, he expanded, this time
to the small island between the top left and bottom left (also known as
themiddle left) Urug started up a templar archives at his new exspansion,
and amazingly he was able to get a darktemplar out before the gateway at
his old base was demolished. He killed a few marines before a comsat revealed
him, he could've leveled the entire force if he had gotten atleast level
1 ground weapons.
pitt quickly got a science
vessel and dropped again, this time destrynig the base. Unfortunately Urug
already had his new exspansion running, with a million templar and storm
researched. pitt dropped off a few tanks marines and a ghost at the
island below the exspansion, and he tried to do a cross-island nuke. Unfortunately
the storm got off at about 2 seconds before the EMP Shockwave drained the
templar of the rest of his energy.
pitt realized he would need
to shift to brute force, so he quickly loaded up 7 dropships full of marines/medics/tanks,
and he dropped them at the least defended spot of the exspansion. He easily
took down the few cannons, and since he had already EMP'd the templar did
not have the energy to cast a storm. Urug's death was imminent, and pitt
destroyed the last building (at my insistence) with a nuke.
Lessons Learned!
Nukes own toss. End of story.

It's annoying trying to write
a BR like this when I so VERY MUCH want to write a report on the game with
Twip last night. (he disconnected on me after dieing to massive spore rush)
