THE GAME
The Game started with me doing my usual thing with Toss against Toss - teching like a whore. Being totally overrun by Goons last time against Disgruntled Ape, I decided to do a little saver build this time tho
I did Pylon-Gate-Assimilator-Pylon-Battery-Core

*Here you can see my basic defense (meanwhile enhanced with a Temp, I blocked my choke with Zealots on hold position, effectively denying him any recon in the mid game*
I tried to xpand at my natural, but his Zlots/Goons rushed in and forced me to cancel the building - I saw that I simply didnt have sufficient forces to xpand on ground, so I loaded up a Probe into a Shuttle and delivered it to the bottom right island.
I was the first to be really offensive (His Zealots turned tail in sight of my battery-Zealot-Goon defense much earlier), loading my favourite load in a Shuttle - Reaver, DT, HT
I wanted to drop his main from the right side, but on my way I found something very interesting...

*He just started his natural xpansion!*
Seeing this, I decided to unload my force there, I unloaded the Reaver, quickly despatched the cannon, uploaded the Reaver again but left my DT there for some funny Nexus-carnage

*The DT can kill the Nexus without resistance due to lacking detection*
However, my thirst for blood was not satisfied with his Nexus at his natural, so I quickly went with my Reaver and the HT to his main mineral line and unloaded there under heavy goon fire.

*YEAH! Thats gotta hurt! Just as the probes clumped up because they tried to run away from the Reaver, they got stormed! I dont know how much I killed here (about a dozen or more I guess), but I think this was one of the best (and most luckiest) storm on peons I ever got off*
My attack force went down, but I think they were honored by Tassadar himself in Protoss heaven for delivering so much damage to the slimy... err, Syncmaster was also Toss :-)
In the meantime, I established my island xpansion and reinforced it with a single cannon :)
Seing that my enemy was crippled, I decided to push him down, and so I attacked with my force of 4 Goons, half a dozen Zealots and a Templar
However, it was not the easy overrun mission I thought his Cannon/Zlot/Goon/Templar defense was pretty good - first, my Dragoons got stormed, then I stormed his Zealots, then my Zealots got stormed, then I stormed his goons the rest of the two forces duked it out, with my Dragoons eventually retreating as they see no other chance to survive and dont want to die a 2nd time (Goons are already re-animated)

*Blue Goon blood signs the battleground, while he is already re-grouping his army*
Now I was vulnerable! I only had 3 Goons at home, while my Observer saw 3-4 Goons with 4-5 Zealots grouping at Syncmasters choke. Thankfully, my opponent did not know how pityful my defense was, and so he decided not to attack
2 Observers were now patrolling the map, my DT was still watching at his natural, and I started on my favourite toy - the oh so sexy Carriers - all seemed set and done, when he started his quest for venegance.
My Observer that was keeping a watchful eye on his natural, catched the sight of a Shuttle heading towards my main - too good that I already had a Sair, and so I could force the Shuttle to retreat into safety
Another Shuttle attempt was also forced to retreat by my Sair, however this time the Sair got killed by Goons, and so I didnt had a Sair when I saw him Shuttling the next payload up to my plateau
I quickly recalled the troops at my chokepoint on the right edge of my plateau, while Syncmaster unloaded another load there - 2 Goons and 4 Zlots were now rdy to deliver some damange, but even with good micromanagement of him and a few storms thrown in by unloaded Templars he was not able to break my Dragoon/Zealot/Reaver defense

*His plateau attack force, soon to be supported by Templars*
Being as mean as I am I loaded my Reaver along with a Goon in a Shuttle and dropped his base - this time from the left side

*I was able to kill a cannon and a few peons before being killed by Zlots/Goons*
My Observers still didnt find any xpansions of him, and so I decided I would outressource him even harder and xpand at the 6 main. His scouting Zealot there saw this however and so he knew it was now time for an all-or-nothing attack

*His brave fighters fight a hopeless battle*
Well, I decided I had enough of my beloved Carriers now and so I went over to his already dry main to end this game

The scores:

Lessons learned:
1) In Toss vs Toss on maps with a ramp like temple, its really easy to survive with only one Gate early on - 4 Zlots and a Battery will hold their own against any larger Zlot force, and you can tech really fast this way
2) Im still a tech junkie - I built far too few units, I guess I shoulda just overrun him with Goons after I started to outressource him, but I just love those damn sexy Carriers :)
3) Observers ARE great, but they really hurt your Templar production early on, especially if you are building Dragoons/Reavers too
4) If you see your opponent teching, you better get those Observers FAST! - He might have been able to rescue his xpansion, but his only detection was a cannon and my Reaver took that one down...
5) If you get beaten hard by someone, you really learn something :). Disgruntled Ape totally ruled me last time I played him Toss vs Toss. Im still a tech junkie but at least I build proper defenses now :)
Hope you enjoyed it, it was quite picture-heavy, but this game was kinda laggy so I had enough time to take plenty of pictures :)

Im too tired to use any other html than embeding images... :-/
