Okay the idea for this game started out in NH me meeting cakemix for the first time in a long time and we decided to do a pubbie bash(you have your comp bashes i have my pubbie bashes)
Early Game:
The game starts out fairly well for me 10/9 hatch at min only exp, few lings few sunkens and hardcore economy. Cakemix utters the fateful cry "Damnit i suck with terran" having heard that thing so many times i just reply "dont say it now say it if you lose" well my economy is at 110% and im pumping MaSs HyDrAz and i threw up a third hatch and was looking for suitable exps. course my lords only found the enemys in the last 2 places i look. I find the toss going for some sorta mass cannon defense and me n cakie both decide we'll get the other guy before him. And than we find blue. If i may steal a quote of -=JSH=- he is what you would call a TuRbO nEwBiE at his base i saw a hatch a few hydras a few lings and a few sunkens. I figure damn must have a bunch of exps! and i look around the map and find HE DONT HAVA ONE!
Mid Game:
Well i was going to send a 6 hydra harrass/scout team and i saw a drone going downwards to my soon to be exp i follow down sure enough theres a hatch there and i smoke it. i soonly place my own hatch there and get that working at full force. Than to my dismay i still find that cakie has still not expanded. I say "grab those islands man!" but he assures me that he does not need a exp just yet. i get drop and speed for my ols and get my hydras 1/1 and they have speed and range(from earliar). a patrolling marine see's one of the most retarded moves i ever seen(move was done by TuRbO nEwBiE) he was building a hatch at cake's min exp! i was thinking this is a totaly lame tactic and cake just waits till it becomes a hatch and than he kills it(just for the sake of meaness) Blue(turb newb) crys out the fateful cry of "Dirty map hackers" and i yell out "Yeah no way you'll be prostar maphackers like us!" ;) He immediatly crys "Oh yeah bitch come get some im waiting for you" and i just think sure you got it. So my 1238965129618974698312647923649i264 hydras are on his way to his base and i say "Hey im going to attack you with my hydras since you asked" and he starts yelling "No i didnt say attack go away go away" and i laugh i find he has like 5 drones on mins and 1 on gas and he has 4 sunkens and 10 hydras it was sad...so anyway after you hear "TuRbO nEwBiE" is eliminated.
Late Game:
Well cakemix HAS STILL NOT EXPANDED! and i grab the 12:00 pos. i throw up a spire and queens nest and start making mass queens+mutas and totaly forsaking hydras now(still got about 26486354879534 though) i yell at cakie not to expand and than he says "sorry cant outta money" well i figure whatever me vs toss. I send a muta threw his base and find nofin but cannons+temps. So thankfully 12 queens can get rid of 12 temps rather quickly and no more temps. I send my 18734612986 hydras at his cannons and the hydras own them than i morph half my muts into gruds and quickly raze his base i hear crys of "Hey maphacker you only won cause its 2n1 and my partner sucks" i say "did cakemix do anything this game it was you 2 vs me dummys" and you imagine what happens next
"Muda f*cking Maphacker!.....waiting for players..... and you know.
Lesson's Learned:
- If you play with cakemix TELL HIM TO EXPAND!
- forget comp stomps do pubbie stomps!
- Queens w/ broodlings are more than a match fer temps
- try to have more than 6 drones mining ;)
- Maybe its just better not to play with cakemix ;)
- If you see mass cannons dont try to attack them with lings (cakemix suggested that to me)
- Hydras are probably the most cost effective this(besides gaurdians) that zerg can throw at cannons)
