Lifetime Rating for SuperGeneral: 5.0000 |  | Straight to the facts. I won. I usually don't. This is a Battle Report on 1 of my triumps that are not against my brothers.
Map: Ice Mountain (see pic at bottom)
Me: SuperGeneral, Randomed to Zerg, Top Left
Opponent: Randomed to Protoss, Top Right
I did my normal build. Build a overlord after ninth. Build pool, hatchery, then extractor. I then built 3 sunkens and 3 spores at my ramp. Then I built a evo chamber, a den, another hatch, lair, then spire and Queen's nest. All this time I was attacking, first with 6 zerglings, then 12 zerglings. This were turned back because of cannons. I now know I was facing a turtle. I made 6 hydras and turned 5 into lurkers. I sent them in with 12 glings to make a third attack. The glings took hits while the lurkers attacked the 3 cannons arranged in a triangle beside the extractor. I lost all but one. That one destroyed both the forge and the extractor. But rapidly cannons were forming around me and Joe the Lurka died. :[
I then built 21 hydras and morphed 9 of them into lurkers at his base entrence. But he was prepare as 8 cannons slaughered my lurkers and hydras with 2 cannons remaining. I then built 9 more lurkers and burrowed them at 'D' on the map (see below). I caught sight of a corsair though and relized all this time I had been neglecting my airforce. I looked back at my 2 hatches and my lair and relized I had mined out my main. I expanded to 'A' while getting a hive and a greater spire. I then expanded to 'B', then finally 'C' all the while getting mutas.
After expanding I had 36 mutas. I morphed 12 into devourers and 12 into guardians. I then moved forward to the edges of his base. I started laughing about then.
SuperGeneral: 1 carrier?????
Oppenent:
I attacked the carrier with my 12 devourers and it went down after the second volley. Then slowly moving my guardians forward I killed the cannons and the base.
I guess this wasn't too good of a win for several reasons.
1. He cannoned in and never expanded.
2. He built a total of 7 probes the entire game
3. He built 3 pylons the entire game
Conclusion: He was a newbie.
Oh well comments are needed and flames are welcomed (I have gotten used to it). Well, not welcomed. Suggestions. That's what you call 'em. I still suck beyond belief so I need help. Thanks for reading my report.
