Lifetime Rating for Terran_Threat (TheRubberDucky): 4.7500 |  | This was my first ladder game on the gamers server, and I started off by chosing zerg, and switching to terran when I decided to play a micro game, which I love more than everything except mass hydras/lings/lurkas now. (I have the bad habit of NOT building muties =[ )
Map: The Lost Temple ( I didn't feel like dire or polaris)

I started off by going with a quick rax on 6, followed by a bunker, and finally a supply depot, and a bunch of marines as fast as possible, followed by several tanks, then finally medics and firebats. When I had about 12 marines (no medics yet, but 2 factories were building, along with my 4th 5th and 6th barrax and an academy) I sent them out to search+destroy (I had forggotten to scout) when I got to his base I found a bunch of drones, 4 hatcheries building, and a spawning pool at about 90% done, since the pool was on the other side of his little wall, I would have a hard time getting to it to kill it, so I fired at the geyser easily killing it, followed by the death of all of his drones, he saved his ass by spawning zerglings at all of his hatcheries as they finished, fortunately I had already taken out the 2 hatcheries closest to him, and also all but 1 of his drones (it burrowed amazingly)
I expected him to try to expand as soon as possible, so I started building a pair of starports near the middle of the map, and also floated 4 of my barrax to below the cliff, and made a devestating group of 12 tanks, and nearly 50 marines, all the while FORGETTING to expand. When I realized my main was almost mined out I told my 3 building scv's to build command centers, I floated one to each island, and 1 to my natural, cursing at the fact that I couldn't place a nuke silo there. I placed a nuke silo at the 2 island exspansions, and also placed a group of scouts to patrol the exspansinos, and also to prepare for a massmarines attack, my recon showed that he had yet to expand, and he had 6 hatcheries, and a bunch of muties, nothing else. I immedatley started the research of irradiate, and also qued 6 science vessels, and 40 more marines (bringing my total to near 100 I think.)
It gets pretty dull around here, he expands to his natural, and reinforces it with 24 muties and a bunch of sunkens I scanned his base findind a hive morphing finally. I started thinking, and I remmebered that 2 nukes kill ANYTHING, so I loaded my 2 ghosts into a dropship, and dropped them on the cliff, and set the ghosts to aim the nukes. his color was red, and the little red dot was like right ontop of a stopped drone. That drone must have been extremely upset when 2 nukes landed on it's poor little head. I attacked moved my marines to outside his choke, and sieged up all of my tanks, and wathced all of his sunken colonies die horribly, he sent in his muties, but my golioths and marines easily took care of them. He said 'u cheated u got tanks fast i should have won u cheater' I honestly was pissed, because if I'm gettnig this shit on the GX server, than sc has gone to hell.
I learned nothing, so there.
