Hello! This is a match between ahscar and -=1999=-. There maybe some typos due to a almost broken finger thats in the way =[.
Ghost(dos) or something like that observed with me =]
Ok, here goes.
Information
-=1999=-
vs
Ahscar
Map : The lost temple.
Positions/colors/races : -=1999=- is a white terran at 6:00
Ahscar is a purple zerg at 9:00.
Beginning
-=1999=- does his normal build : 8 Rax, depot, gas, academy, depot. This is a rush where he has 5 marines in his peon line when the academy finishes and he has a medic for his six-pack rush.
Ahscar does a different build order though. He goes 11/9 , makes a spawning pool, extractor, 4 drones gas, Lair, then hatchery on ramp. He made 2 fast lings, then went for mostly (75%) drones. He made lings in bigger #'s after. Then he constructed a Lair.
Mid Game
Well, after -=1999=- has his 6-pack, he constructs a factory, makes a ebay and upgrades u-238 shells. The 5 marines and medic roll out towards 9:00 where the zerg lays.
If he arrived about 5 seconds earlier ( seirously )
he would of came close to winning, but he didn't... so 2 sunken colonys were finished, and they were on the high ground so the marines and their beloved medic, had to retreat with only 2 marines and a medic remaining.
Next, -=1999=- orders up a machine shop and a starport while Ahscar makes a hydra den, a few hydras, reseraches lurker aspect. -=1999=- constructs 3 turrets around his base. -=1999=- makes a second barracks, a control tower while Ahscar makes 3 lurkers along with 10 lings and attacks.
Clearly going to be denied, the 2 lurkers remaining, damaged from seige tank blasts, burrow by the natural mineral exp.
Late Game
Ahscar expands, and constructs a spire followed by 7 mutaslisks, and then a greater spire along with a few more zerglings.
-=1999=- makes a science facility, makes a science vessel and researches irrdiate. 7 mutalisks go down to the bottom left corner, and 5 morph into the vicious guardians. The guardians pound on outlying supply depots, while 1 irrdiate is placed upon the biggest cluster of guardians. After individualy selecting guardians and moving them away, he finally selects the irrdiated one, and moves away to be destroyed.
Marines use stim pack and medics heal, while the 2 mutalisks scout the base and are destroyed quite quickly, by missle turrets and marines. The marines take out 1 guardian, and damage another one to a measely 8 hit points. But that is the last of the marines, and the only ones left are the ones being trained in the barracks.
Meanwhile, -=1999=- drops 2 marines and medic, in the middle of the plateau where no defences lay, and began to fire upon the greater spire. Ahscar, micromanaging at -=1999=- 's base, didn't notice the marines firing. He did make zerglings though, but they were rallyed to his expansion and used to run right past the marines/medic. The marines and medic had the giant structure down to 70 hp when Ahscar noticed and he killed the marines with lings.
With that, -=1999=- said " gg" and left the game.
Lessons learned
o Constant recon is necessary. If -=1999=- had a bit better recon, he would of know he was going for mutalisks, and made more science vessels or maybe a couple wraiths.
o -=1999=- 's 6-pack can be hard to defend if ur got off guard :)
o Ahscar had cracklings , and finished off -=1999=-'s base with them, + 2 guards =]
