Thursday, July 15, 871GD.
(Alita99) Koprulu Sector "Rivalry" 19:30 PDT -- [Overview] The Terran United Earth Directorate, lead by Red Commander Johnny_Vegas scored a decisive victory against the masses of the Zerg led amuck by the purple Cerebrate, TheRubberDucky. We are fortunate that a brave SCV pilot was present to bring us this eye witness account of the battle.

Early Game
Well, me and my buds found ourselves in the middle of a rukus between the UEDs and those bug thangs. Because of some communications problems we was having with our SCVs and the command center, we was somehow patched inta the cerebrate's command pathways and sees what it saw.
Well, the UED forces led by Johnny_Vegas was parked in the Southwest sector of da' drop zone. These bugs which we knew was controlled by a cerebrate calling itself TheRubberDucky was oozing that creepy stuff in the Northeast sector. Me and my buds, Did I mention we dropped in the Northwest? We was lucky t' stay out of the whole mess of gore.
At the start, one a 'em big ballons (Overlords) start heading in our direction! We high-tail it outta there and head for the trees. That hand-me-down Command center flew outta that areas quick as a whistle. That balloon done stay there for much of the day.
Now, both groups was starting by building a whole slew of workers (about 8 for Johnny_Vegas and 9 for TheRubberDucky) and didn't manage no other building until the UED started a barracks right upside of da ramp leading to their drop area. Long walk for poor Henry. As Henry was doing his thang, Frank came up and scooted outta the drop area and searched to the Northwest sector of the map.
We... ummm... didn't tell him the Zergys were in the NorthEAST 'cause, ummm... lemme think now... I know! We was being hunted by a pack of wild Bengalaas! Yeah! Whole buncha Silver ones! We managed to avoid much of those vile creatures by hiding in the trees.
After Henry was done wit the Barracks, he started some home cookin' wit a Supply Depot. Marine Privates start coming outta hybernation to fill their craws when he's done.
Finally, the Zerg started that swimming pool thing (Zergling Spawning Pool) at the west edge of tha creep.
But even before they's ready to go swimming (not even 100 hp folks), Frank found the Zerg and started building a Refinery on those gas craters (Vespene Geysers) next to the Zergy base. MAN OH MAN! That Franky's got balls! One dumb Zergy thing (Drone) tried to attack Frank, but Woohoo! Frank got the moves and avoided that green spit. He ain't no Arnold, so he's just leaves that half-built Refinery and hightails it outta there! The dumb zergy just leaves the building thar half built and goes back to chomping minerals.
Later on, still no other buildings go up til TheRubberDucky orders up a second Hatchery and orders up some mini zerg (Zerglings). Frank still gots the balls of a Kender and takes a looksee at the Eastern side of things. He ain't find nothing there cause those mini zerg are focusing on the refinery.
Frank just kept awalkin' along without a care in the world.
Now Jesse, he a smart one. Johnny_Vegas done ordered a Refinery within the drop area and that's what Jesse did.
Henry done come back to base and start up some more grub (second Supply Depot).
Now, the Zergies have that open spot of geysers and take it for their own. Theys also start up one a them creep colonies just west of their first Hatchery.
Now Henry, after filling up at the Depot, done want some action of his own. He start up an academy to get those kitchen wenches some learning 'bout the ways a war.
Atta bout this time, Frank wants to go see what's up at the Zergy base. Well, his balls ain't made a steel like Arnold's is. Those mini Zerg start eating him up in no time flat.
We wanted to help, honest, but those Bangalaaas keep trying to jump up our tree!
To help honor Frank's death, Johnny_Vegas done orders Henry to build some'in to get the troops tougher shit. Soon an Engineering Bay graces the area just South of the command center. Soons that's done, that scanny thing (Comsat Station) goes up too. Not to be outdone, the Zergies start making a Hatchery into a Lair as Marine Private Wayne takes a looksee outside and heads north.
Well, Angie done look good in that spify white armor. She's even given a field promotion - 1st Lieutenant. She exits the barracks putting on a little fashion show for the seven boys gathered around her at the top of the ledge next to the barracks.
The Zergies start morphin in this heart-shaped thingy... and I don't mean no valentine, I mean the real thing (Evolution Chamber). Dunno what the heck it does (TheRubberDucky later made a SECOND evo chamber, but never upgraded throughout the entire game).
As all this is happening, good ole Henry start a tinkerin and fiddlin and soons gots a factory making all his shit. Johnny_Vegas then orders Angie and her lover boys out to his natural. Henry starts another kitchen just south of the academy while Jesse follows Angie, who's feelin a might vulnerable, and come outs and start a bunker. But half way through he comes to his senses and starts up a missle turret instead.
Private Garth done take a walk out to the South finding open land and clean air. He finds much the same by the time he gets to the Southeast drop area.
Private Wayne done get his mum worried as shit now. He crept on up to the Northwest drop zone then marched up into the Zergy base. He ain't get far. darn 4 6-packs of mini zerg and a creep colony shooting up spines from the ground (Sunken Colony) come a knockin on brand spankin new upgraded armor. When theys done. He ain't needed that armor anymore.
Well, as Wayne does the dead man's jig, Angie has a pal with her own throng of followers. All thems watching Jesse start a second command center south of the turret.
The Zergies musta hated Wayne's intrusion and start up a den to study by (Hydralisk Den). Just to be safe, a bunker and starport start a churning up dirt in the UED main.
Now we sees more strutting and a posing. Seems both commanders want to arrange their forces for some unannounced parade marching. (TheRubberDucky done line up his mini zerg at the top of his own cliff, while Johnny_Vegas does a personal inspection of some SCVs before they start mining the natural. I swears, both the commander and the Cerebrate have those troops in parade formation. Seeing as how Sergeant Slaughter's following them SCVs in his tank, I'd straighten out too! The UED even done have a balloon o their own as the Barracks situated at the top of the cliff floats on down to the north of the turret.
While all this postering is happening, Private Garth start headen north towards the zerg base and a lil pup mini zerg some yipping outta the base and down the middle towards Garth's last position. They don't see eachother though. Seeings the all clear, TheRubberDucky sends a dumb zerg out to make somemore egghouses, but runs into Garth who is just south of the zergy base. As they says "Dumb is as dumb gets". That dumb zerg done splat all over Garth's 0/1 Armor.
During this brief engagement, Zergy need some direction, so's a Nest starts growing.
Back at the UED base, Johnny_Vegas done order Henry and Jesse to start up barracks to each side of the previous parade balloon (barracks). Captain "Master" Healy done head up North to sees what's up with Private Garth in his brand spanking new Wraith. Private Simon heads out south soon followed by Private Garfunkel.
Hydras and queens hover above the zerg base just as our transmission breaks up.
(I actually ran out of "film". Had to "reload" the camera by moving the files to another folder) =)
And all hell breaks loose
Once we get the communications settled, Johnny_Vegas has about 5 barracks providing a wall to the north of his natural, a second expansion starting where Privates Simon and Garfunkel had a brief concert using a missle turret as a speaker pole - attacting a squad of marines and three medics. Jesse's just starting a command center. Science Facility finishes up at the main.
At the same time, TheRubberDucky is preparing for a drop. He loads up 3 balloons with hydras, 1 withmini zergs and 1 with 2 lurkers. He narrowly avoids Captain Healy and Private Garth as they head on up to the Zergy base. Captain Healy breaks of the approach and tries to engage the balloons as Private Garth engages the mini zerg all alone. Captain Healy catches up with the balloons and 2 Queens at the Southeast Drop area, but encounters a hydra spitting at him. The balloons and Queens use this time to sneak off towards the West hugging the bottom of the map.
The Zerg vacationing balloon fleet see Johnny_Vegas's southern expansion and hover for a bit. Seems they's confused as to how the terrans can have an expansion this soon while they's still working outta their drop zone. Private Garth makes a valiant stand, but falls to the forces of TheRubberDucky south of the main. The dumb zerg starts up a hatchery on his bones.
The Queens lead the charge into the UED main screaming "Resistance is Futile". Well the UED saw that old UPN tele too and just sit there doing nothing. The southern expansion troops, however, hear the call and head on up to the zergy main to do their own screaming lead by the point man, Private "Bull's eye" Perry. The Hydras and mini zerg all unload at the extreme east of the UED main while the balloon with the Lurkers drops them a bit further just to the southeast of the two Engineering bays and the Refinery.
Arnold starts a bunker to stop the swarm, all in the middle as the 1/1 marines and a sieged tank take on the 0/0 minizerg. Arnold manages to get it up! The Lurkers run off west towards the mineral line and start doing damage to those poor college bound kids.
Doc Ido in this Science Vessel heads over to conduct in the field research on the Zerg while Arnold builds ANOTHER bunkers in the midst of the ensuing slaughter. The queen sits idly above the command center itchin to infest it. Using Doc Ido as a spotter, the Tank takes out one of the lurkers and heavily damages the second. Angie and her troops head on up to support Bull's Eye's charge.
The 0/0 Hydras engage the marines at the UED main just as "Bull's Eye" Perry engages the Zergies at their home. He screams "Remember the Alamo!" as a sunken takes him out. The rest of the platoon follows him in engaging the sparsly defended Zerg base.
As Angie heads up to the Zerg expansion, Jesse heads out to the Southeast drop area to do some scouting. He don't get very far as the hydra that whooped Captain Healy is still here.
Finally paying attention to what's happening to his base, Johnny_Vegas sends in a platoon of freshly awakened marines to help defend the base. They succeed and drive the balloons east into the southern expansion troops where they just sit and take in the lead from marines. TheRubberDucky comments, "silly overlords..." as he moves them east to avoid the U-238 shells.
The UED base is saved! Angie and her group take out the Zergy expansion and call for reinforcements as 7 Hydras slither down the ramp to engage them. They manage to hold on as Doc Ido comes up with 4 platoons of marines and medics.
Henry, being the resouceful one, starts up a command center at the Western expansion.
As a squad of marines cover the southeast dropzone. Seeing the ballons just sitting there, 5 of the men start up towards the big battle in the Northeast.
The UED troops march into TheRubberDucky and lay waste to his second hatchery first, then the two sunkens providing defense. the legendary cockiness of Johnny_Vegas rears it's head. Just as the Zerg Hive falls, he broadcasts on all frequencies "Who says the Zerg are swarms?"
The base falls and "gg"s are exchanged.

(Hugo) Thanks. Now can we talk about me getting back into the armed forces?
(Alita99) Not until you tell me what you and three of your college buddies were doing in that rundown command center and in a warzone of all places!
(Hugo) Well, ma'am, we just wanted to take in the scenery...
(Alita99) With that missing shipment of brandy no doubt. Consider yourself confined to quarters! DISMISSED!
(Alita99) *sigh* If I didn't like that boy, I swear, I'd jettison him out the nearest airlock!
(Whisper from the dark) Psst! Commander, we're still broadcasting!
(Alita99) You mean we're still on the air??
