Lifetime Rating for -=Serberus=-: 5.3333 |   | Well, before this match started, Ralessi-AoK and I had a 2v2 with Jester and his friend (I and Ral were Protoss, while Jester was Protoss and Jester's partner was Zerg), and we won that game. After the game, he challanged me to a 1v1, I at first refused, because the 2v2 was supposed to be the last game of my day, but hey, I could beat another X'Ds foe, so I accepted. I opted for Dire Straights since I never lose on it :), and Jester accepted.

I started off by being at the bottom left spot, while when I found out later Jester got the bottom right spot. I started on my useual 4 Zealot drop build order, and when my first Zealot poped out of my Gateway, I searched to the North of my island, and found nothing. I know for a Terran to win, you got to be risky, so I guessed a Rax float would be coming. So I searched to the East of my island, and sure enough, 2 Barraks were heading for my island, or so it was until the Zealot cursed at them "En Taro Adun kill you!", and the Barraks floated back to home. During this time, I had my Cybernetics Core finished, and my Robotics Facility was almost done warping in. When my RF finished warping in, I made a shuttle and the last Zealot to my 4 pack collection. I started heading over to Jesters base and found 2 Marines, a Vulture, a Wraith, and Medic defending. I'm like oh shit, hes Wraith rushing, so while I droped my 4 Zealots, I through a Observertory up, and another Gateway as I planned to drop Dragoons.
After my Zealots killed all of the ground based defence of Jester, I went for the SCV's, killing all besides 2-3 before the 2 Wraiths could finish them off, which is a HUGE setback for Terran. I got 2 Observers, 1 for my base, and 1 to scout the Terran. I noticed he had pretty much nothing, so with the Shuttle that was still alive from dropping my Zealots, I packed up 2 Dragoons and headed for his base. When I got there, he had 3 Wraiths without cloak, which ran away :( and the Dragoon called me at me base "Sir, those Wraiths are flying for you". It didn't really matter, as I had 2 more Dragoons and a Shuttle at my base, so I incinerated the Wraiths, while back at Jesters base, I was microing my Dragoons from the all so harmful fusion cutter of the horrable SCV's. I managed to get Jester back down to 3 SCV's again before my Dragoons demolished. Who cares though? I had 2 Shuttles full of Dragoons at my base, and more building, I send over the 2 Shuttles, and Jester resigned.
Lessons Learned:
1. SCV's are DEADLY vs. Dragoons (that because SCVS are small, and Dragoons do only 10 damage to them, so it takes 6 shots for a Dragoon to kill one, 7 if the SCVS have 1 armor upgrade).
2. Don't let big names imitate you, it just gets you playing worse.
3. Dragoons own Terran if there's not much infantry. |
