Map: Mobius 256x64 Jungle
Game Type: 5 man FFA
Players: MasterOfMordor - Terran - Top Right - Orange
PiSsEd~ZoMbIe - Zerg - Top Middle - Red
Me`beux - Protoss - Bottom Middle - White
Aire - Zerg - Bottom Left - Blue
I_sucky - Zerg - Bottom Right - Teal

With 3 Zergies I knew a rush was going to happen, so I opted for an early Rax, and early Acad, for early bats.
8/10 - BarracksThe build went like this:

9/10 - Supply Depot.
11/18 - Build Acad (SCV that built Depot)
12/18 - Build Refinery
13/18 - Build Depot

This is where the first attack came in. Red came in with, you guessed it, 6 zerglings, that went straight for my SCVs. I had a marine in the middle but they killed it, and started hammering my SCVs with their heads. My SCVs retaliated and killed off a couple Zerglings before fleeing.

"Need a light?" - Said the Firebat, as he stepped from the Barracks.

"Why thank you!" - Said Captain Mordor, as he orderd the Zerglings well done.

I queued up a couple more bats, and medics, while setting up a wall of supply, that would keep many attacks at bay (see pic. #1).

I installed ComSat and targeted the owner of the naughty Zerglings, in the Top-Middle Position. The Cerebret seemed like it had survived the wrath of one too many Dark-Templar, as it had ordered a series of 5 sunken colonys. A counter-attack seemed out of the question, so I ordered a Factory to be built.

I went through a time of silence waiting, as my Factory quietly rose from the ground, but before the SCV's job was done a menacing Lurker creeped behind my mineral reserve. Teal burrowed his lurker, and out burst spines of death, puncturing many SCVs. In panic I ordered a squad of 8 marines, and readied my Comsat. I spread out my marines, and fed them to the lurker 3 at a time. The lurker unburrowed, and scurried away.

I reasigned the SCVs to their respective mineral patches, and found my Factory all complete. A machine shop was magically built beside my factory, and began researching the feared, Seige Tech. Queueing 2 tanks, and several marines, I began the final stages of preparing my Tank push. I sent "Deon Peon" out to scout the path to the evil Cerebret, but amid the worn walkway were several cannons, each hurled a firey plasma ball straight for "Deon". Poor "Deon" exploded.

I set up some Defences behind my bunker of depots, 2 tanks, marines, medics, firbats, the whole meal. It looks as if Red was hungery, cause he sent in 24 growling (prolly their stomachs) to come and eat me. But, alas, they we're no match for the depots. That night, the boys had Zergling on the grill (see pic. #1).

With all that said and done, I found my factory had emitted 3 tanks, enough to start a push. I rallied my troops just outside of the "Deon" killing cannons, and had an accomponying SCV raise a bunker in his [deon's] name. But before the bunker could even hold a mouse, 5 Zealots sped accross the walkway, soon tearing at the SCV with a vengence. After the SCV had calmly exploded, they remaining zealots 3 targeted the closest Tank. It was unforunate, though, that I had 5 firebats there. Guess the results. Around now, I_sucky , and Aire quit.

I ordered an SCV off minerals, and brought him to the encampent, to finish what one brave SCV had started... a bunker. As soon as it was finished, 4 marines entered the bunker. Now that my ground was fortified, I began the ever tiring task of seiging, and unsieging tanks. By the time I managed to inch my way to range of the Cannon, I had accumulated 4 tanks, more still to come. Occasionally the Executor would blitz my tanks with 4 or 5 zealots, but 5 firebats, with medic support, handel Zealots nicely. Once or twice he killed a tank, but it was quickly replaced. During the attack, I built an Engineering Bay, a StarPort, and a Science Facility, and expanded twice.

I wen't through his base like a hot knife through butter (I know we've all heard that before)and the biggest threat, was a feed-back to my Science Vessel, leaving it at 1 hp, quite nasty of him. When the last building fell under the might of Acrlite Cannons, the executor hadn't left the battle ground... he must've expanded. It was here that I was interupted by the cunning cerebret, with 8 mutas flying through to my now empty mineral deposite. After finding no SCVs he transfered fire to my Starport. I brought in 5 M&Ms and 2 Irradiates, that popped the mutas like a baloon.

Apparently, now it was between RED, and ME. I unseiged all the tanks at the Protoss' old base, and set them up at the path between me and RED. During that attack I had been gathering Science Vessels, as they work wonders against the Zerg, but while I was distracted they we're being scourged. I set my rally point by my barracks, so any air would be under the protection of the marines.

After slowly working my way up the path, I saw the chance of expanding there. I had 6 - 7 tanks, 8+ vessels, and many M&Ms. I was occasionally harrasing him, with 8 matrixed marines, killing WAY more than how much they costed (400 min). But no number of marines could take on his now 12 sunkens.

PiSsEd~ZoMbIe: Sorry to have to do this to you orange.

Seconds later Ultralisks barrel around the corner like a roach infestation. 15 Ultras FULL UPGRADES (I'm like 2/0 marines, nothing for Tanks), things are looking grim(see pic. #2). Using D-Matrix, and Irradiate to its FULLEST (ALL of my Vessels used up their energy) I was able to save ONE bunker. That's right, DEON'S bunker. Bless Deon, and his lucky soul. Well... I could see that he was hurting, kinda:

PiSsEd~ZoMbIe: Damn, you suck orange!
MasterOfMordor: What the hell?! I just killed over 12 ultras!
PiSsEd~ZoMbIe: Yea, but I got money, I could do an attack like that 20 more times

He built one more ultra the rest of the game. I started pumping Tanks while Zombie continued to talk, and talk. Soon I had my position set up, once again. I comsated his main... Zerglings. Take a look at Pic. #2. You'll see a Dropship. That DropShip is full of 7 bats, 1 medic. That DropShip saved my LIFE! Seconds after ComSat ran out, the zerglings came, I unloaded my drop ship, stimmed, and ate his cracklings (around 40) , as they came. After that decisive victory I pushed my Tank influence further into his territory, untill I was in control of his natural. I expanded there, and comsated again.

Defilers. I automatically get a Gold Bengallas Award for mentioning their name. That's right, the one unit only .000009% of all Zergies use. I queued up two irradiates and -2 defilers. This is where it gets interesting:

*Beep* *Beep* - "Your forces are under attack!"

Before I go any further, I would like to explain to you how this map lives up to it's name. At the left and right edges of the map, if you bring a unit there its transported to the other side of the map, so it is a circle. You can go around and around. Yea. So he brings his Guardians to the left side of the map, and they transport right on top of my exp. I bring in the Irradiate and deal with it, but not after suffering many SCV losses(see pic. #3). Now it's my turn.

I transport a Vessel right on top of his exp. and irradiate a Guardian, then run back. Rinse, wash, repeat.
He's given up on guardians now, and has decided, on doing defilers, behind my back. My tanks are now close enough to snipe the buildings on the edge of his base. This is where the Big Battle takes place.

The Big Battle

My forces: 7 - 8 Tanks, outside his main.
12 - 15 Marines, clustered around my Tanks
4 - 6 Bats, behind the Marines
6 - 8 Medics, in the Marine group
10 - 12 Science Vessels Hanging over everything

His Forces: 1 Ultralisk, at the head of the pack
14 - 18 Hydras, right behind the Ultra
18 - 24 Zerglings, Right along with the Hydras
2 burrowed Defilers, casting Swarm all over
3 Lurkers, behind the rest of the pack

He plauges my Vessels, waits for plauge to end. 2 defilers unburrow, cast dark swarm over the majority of my task force. An Ultralisk runs out of the fog, followed by a host of hydras, and zerglings. My tanks fire out, damaging the Ultra. I begin Irradiating everything bad in sight, and d-matrixing everything good in sight. Scourge kamakasi into my vessels, killing 2 or 3. Lurkers burrow. Marines die. Zerglings kill tanks. (see pic. #4) Suddenly:

Protoss Forces: 10 - 16 Dragoons, coming from the back
2 - 3 Templar, storming away
6 - 10 Zealots, grunting in the swarm
4 Reavers, laughing at the sunkens

The White Protoss come from behind, and begin attacking me with zealots under swarm. My bats die to the reavers. My everythingelse dies to dragoons.

Close up:

I didn't put in many of the small battles, and the game took atleast 2 hours. We were all tired after that, and agreed that it was a good game. They quit before me and I won. Yea! Terran wins again! ;)

Lessons:

- Broodling! The majority of my attack on Zerg was Tank-based. If he would have broodlinged my tanks, then attacked with 15+ ultras, it woulda been 500% time more effective.

- Counter Lesson- But you had Irradiate.
1 Broodling = 1 Dead queen

- Counter Counter Lesson- He had 5+ expansions.

- Counter Counter Counter Lesson- Good point.

- Firebats COOK zealots, and Zerglings, when supported by medics.

- Don't hesitate to Plauge, but FOLLOW UP! Don't give me time to repair, if my units are all at 1 life, ATTACK!

- Restore is NOT a counter to Plauge. I bet even Zileas couldn't restore 15 plauged marines, by the time they were at 1 life. Any takers? :)

GG everyone who played!

YAY! I finally figured out how to add pictures! Rate it guys!

P.S. I think that you guys are way to strict on the pictures. The max you can get for a pic. free report is 7.0. Atleats thats the highest I've seen. Perfectly good reports have been writen, and recieved lower than 7 when they deserved 9. Just wanted to get that off my chest.

Battle Shots!

Supply Depots force the zerglings to take the long way...

The first of 15 Ultras! Yikes!

Using the unique advantage of the map, he gets some kills...

The see those hydras... there's more where they came from! ;)
