Map: Aftershock
Start locations:

Early Game:
Everyone went random, except me of course. I had never played the map so I started by asking questions. Wendi gladly gave me the lowdown. About then I noticed that we were all protoss. Usually the best thing to do in that situation is do an early rush. We agreed, however it turned out to be rather unorganized. Quantum scouted ~CB at 9:00 and I scouted Judge at 5:00 and Element at 2:00. ~CB was walling in his choke. We decided to hit Judge, after all he was the Zerg player. The attacked was unorganized and failed; Judge defended well and had a few sunkens. We should have hit earlier before he could get adequate defense up. Wendi and Quantum both expanded early to their naturals which effectively insured that Judge would survive the rush stage. At least we managed to put Judge on the defensive. We tried another wave or two but Element had sent medics and marines for support; we backed off.
I made a forge after cybercore and noticed my scouting probe was still in Element’s base. I decided to try and o’cannon since he had forces at Judge’s base. Element noticed the probe as I moved it into position so I scouted around his base before trying to cannon his choke. The pylon warped in, so I then tried the cannons. He saw the cannons though so I canceled them as he came forward to destroy my probe and pylon.
Mid Game:
I went with a robotics bay first for mobile detection and expanded to my natural. Element expanded to his natural as well. I decided to hang at zeals and goons for awhile with observers. I also made a shuttle to expand again. We had no idea what ~CB was up to since he was walled in. He expanded to D before we were able to get recon there; he never took his natural. I expanded to C. I had dingers watching B and patrolling Judge’s choke and natural. I sent a few attacks Judge’s way to keep him from expanding. Quantum and I both had Temps by this time. Quantum had a good eye on A. Judge made a move to expand to his natural with the cover of Element’s M&Ms. I noticed that Judge’s drones were mining from the expansion back to his main while waiting for the hatchery. It was a prime time to hit him since he was struggling for resources. After I stormed Element’s protection force, we all three hit Judge with everything we had. We had to follow up a few times to finish him off. GG exchanged and Judge bowed out.
Now the game became one of containment. Element made a play for B with infantry support, but Quantum knocked it down with shuttled zeals and goons. About this Time ~CB starts harassing Quantum’s natural with Gols, and doing some damage. ~CB was using transports to ferry the Gols into the fray. I helped with storm, but it took me a few temps to beat it back. ~CB effectively used high ground next to Quantom’s natural to pick of units and workers. I was staying on the ground and getting all the upgrades while cranking out of 6 gateways. I kept making observers and temps to balance out my resource usage. I decided to make a few archons for effect. Element made a move to A. I dropped a couple of Archons but lost my shuttle. Wraiths were nailing the archons but it was taking forever. The archons cleared a few turrets out for my observer to come through. The Wraiths went away and Element conceded the expansion.
About this time Quantum and Wendi both start telling me they were done. ?? Turns out they were out of resources. This is a low resource map for 6 players. I realized at this point that I was the only one with 3 bases. I figured Element had to be close to out as well. I sent my army to his base and kept cranking my infantry. ~CB must have unblocked his choke because he sent a sizable amount of tanks to try to save Element. Quantum was able to attack the tanks with ground units as I stormed them. Then with the help of Quantum and a few token zeals from Wendi, we eventually pushed into Element’s base. I took heavy loses but I could afford it. I just kept sending wave after wave of goons, zeals and archons. Element used irradiate heavily, but I would just pull the affected unit out of the pack. We eventually busted through all main defenses and were tearing down Element’s main. Element asked to observe at this point; He floated to the corner and we shared vision with him.
Quantum expanded to A during the assault on Element’s main and was beginning to get back on his feet. Wendi had to shuttle probes to get resources; she never got back on her feet.
Also during the assault on Element’s main, ~CB attacked me at C. It was not defended at all. I was still throwing and going at Element’s base. I had to take the time and attention to storm ~CB’s wraiths from low ground. I lost all of my probes at my expansion but ~CB’s wraith force was rather small pack. I shuttled some dragoons and templar to the island and killed the remaining wraiths. I then started production again.
End Game:
At this point the game was basically over although ~CB still had a few tricks up his sleeve. I asked Wendi if there was anything I could do to help her. The reply was “get teal!”
~CB was turtled up real well at D but his back door was open at his main. He tanked Wendi a little and nuked her once. He made a nice play with high ground tanks covering his low ground tanks. Quantum and I were able to eliminate the low ground tanks and save Wendi from any further pummeling; however we both lost a good number of units in the process. ~CB began trying to nuke everyone. I had observers everywhere so I could see his ghost movement. ~CB must have known Wendi was all but done as he focused on nuking Quantum next.
Before we launched our final assault on CB, I expanded to B for good measure. I put up some stargates for Carriers. As my Carriers came out, I dropped ~CB’s back door with archons. Quantum and I flung all of our infantry at his choke. I had my archons focus on the Nuke tech and silo. I had 3 carriers and started them working on ~CB’s island. I also dropped in a few zeals which required my shuttles to sacrifice themselves. Quantum and I laid waste to ~CB’s main.

Observations:
~CB: Walling off his choke basically left ~CB’s allies to fend for themselves. This is the main reason were able to keep Judge down and then take him out. ~CB was unable to assist him in anyway during the early game. Otherwise GG, he just ran out of money.
Judge: Using overlords for detection would have went a long way in thwarting our advance since Judge had lurkers strategically placed. We could see them though, because of my observers. A little observer hunt or a timely scan by one of his allies could have allowed his lurkers to be more effective.
Wendi: In the heat of 3on3 it is often easy to forget about expanding. I hate having to shuttle probes for rock; but we have all been there. Often asking a partner for an already secured expansion is all it takes.
Quantum: Not much here other than timely expanding.
Element: He fought valiantly and tried to bail his partner out. Given the number of SVs he had I was surprised to see him opt to observe so quickly. In fact, I don’t think I have ever seen a player opt to observe with the number of buildings and units he had remaining, but I guess his fate was already sealed. Also my archons did significant damage to his base and expansions; a few EMPs would have shut them down. It may have saved his expansion, which would have changed the game. I think EMP, in general, is more effective than irradiate against protoss units.
Rychean: I was too selfish. I should have been more aware of the resource situation my allies were facing. This is such a low resource map, I should have anticipated and shared C with Wendi or just let her have it and taken Judge’s natural. A good team player should make sure all allies get adequate income. I also played inefficiently at the end, as I was unsure how to attack ~CB. I went with Carriers when a few more shuttles and ground units would have done the trick. Hallucination could have helped me here as well. At one point ~CB asked me to hurry up and get him. Also, there is no excuse for having no defense at an expansion. A few goons up there or a templar or even a few cannons would have thwarted ~CB’s wraith attack without heavy probe loses.
