______This was the 2nd game i had played with Atomic_tomato,
so i felt it was okay to skip the introductions. "Rush"
I declared confidently.
_ Now for everyone out their
thinking Rushing is what WarCraft 3 is about... your dead right. However,
its much more complicated. The key is to know when to rush, and how to
defend if your not going to. I choose to rush this game because i simply
thought that both orcs would try to tech fast to shaman. I was wrong.
My allie and I quickly got are alters up, and began
to summon our heroes. Atomic_tomato when
with the Potm and I went with the Demon hunter.
Now, when rushing their are a couple of dues and
don'ts. So while normally me and my allie would of went straight to the
creeps, instead we had them wait in our respected bases... as our rushing
forces began production.
__________________________________________________________
On the other side of town, specifically right above
us, our opponents did something I didn't expect. They Began to mass Grunts
and Head Hunters. They were clearly planning to rush but they made a key
mistake... they broke the number 1 rushing rule. They began to creep.

As they continued to creep and build grunts, me
and my ally were busily massing archers and hunts. When the call to arms
came, our heroes looked around excitedly and were eager to follow our
command... a little to eager.
As I began to move my troops into my allies base to mass forces, he moved
out. He assured me he would wait before we attacked, but alas it was not
so. As he left his base and headed north he encounted just a few nasty
little green grunts...

Not only did my ally find himself fighting melee
attackers with anti-air archers, but he also found himself fighting uphill
battle, literally.
So while numbers might have found themselves on
his side, nothing else was, so i quickly told him to "RUN!!"
To my relief he listened and backed off. As he
reached his moon wells and healed, my huntresses caught up and joined
him. So with 10 Hunts and 11 archers are "mighty" army headed
up north to base 3.

On our way their we encountered
an un-suspecting teal Far Seer. In as few words as possible: we killed him.
Being careful not to get too cocky we continued on our journey up north.
We did not encounter any more foes until we reached our destination. We
were met by 2 towers, a couple of grunts and a few Head Hunters.

We began to focus fire
on the two towers, and they were soon taken out, however not without costs.
By the time that both towers had fallen, each one of my hunts was down to
about half health. I tried to dispose of the grunts but they kept on hitting
my hunts and hitting them hard. Soon I found myself with 2 hunts left and
a barley alive Demon hunter. Being the gun-hoe type of guy i am, i kept
fighting it out.. and soon my army was no more. |

With their meat shields

My allie was forced to tp, and with that the re-build
phase began! |

We both new that we had
no time to waste. By this time IbadBrad had already build a Shaman hunt,
and we feared that if we waited to long, we might come face to face with
a very capabable enemy. With the above in mind we immediately began pumping
our archers and hunts, however we also both build ancients of lore. By the
time that we had amassed a total army of 7 hunts and 11 archers, our ancients
of lore were done. We began researching the abolish magic skill and immediately
headed back up the northern path. |

Upon reaching Idie4fun's base, we encountered
little resistance. It appeared that the enemy had been unsuccessful in
producing shaman in time. With that said we began to focus fire on the
structures. Only a few seconds passed before both their heroes charged
in from their north most base. We quickly turned fire and dispatched of
them. With the enemy out of the way once again we focused on the enemies
structures, and in no time flattened it.
By this time we had each amassed about 3 dryads
and had sent them on their way to join our forces. With the knowledge
that their shamans had no use, we headed up north to finish what we had
started so long ago.
started so long ago.

|
|
|
|
As we arrived at base four
we encountered next to no defense, except for a few magic less shaman and
a grunt or two. They were dispatched quickly. (note red circles) With their
last troops disposed of, we quickly flattened the last remaining enemy base
and came out victorious!
**Note: At the end of the game no-one had acquired
any expansions, a mistake that might have cost the enemy.

Both of these were taken at the same time, the
very end game. The first thing you might notice is that my allies hero
(diana) is two higher levels than me. The reason for this is because I
had to keep running away with my DH to heal. While DH our very good beginning
hero I would STRONGLY advise acquiring another hero midway through the
game (or once you hero has reached around lvl 4.)
The reason i choose this report was because i find
that their is a very clear definition of what must be done when facing
orc only opponents. It is crucial to stop them from teching. Therefore
i advise you ALWAYS rush, and if like in this game it fails, keep up the
pressure. The worst possible scenario is fighting an orc with 3 tuaren
chieftain a couple of doctors and a Sh*t load os shaman!
