Ok, last time I checked the Book o Laws and Stuff and eventually put together a minor disclaimer to ward off all those
pesky lawsuits, but I didn't expect much from it as I'm not really versed in any sort of legal aspects (though I have
memorized my rights while getting aquainted with the buisness end of a nightstick. Repetition sure does help). The
surprising thing is that it worked! No cases, no lawyers banging on my door asking for money they don't deserve for people
who didn't earn it, none of that stuff that's usually associated with telling people what you think. It was like magic, I
tell you. Magic! So, I'm going to trust in the magic of disclaiming again.
Got all that? Well, I guess it doesn't matter because of the wonderful loopholes the system has and plans to never get rid
of that lets any poor sap do anything short of murder. "All for me, and none for you", 'cause that's the American way, dammit!
Once again we find ourselves amidst a reconfigured setting of the Lost Temple. I noticed that the map name
was done in neon colors, much like all the others. It was almost as if the creators of the map were trying to shout out for
attention just like everyone else. This type of conformity made me sad at first, then sadder still as they were doing it on
the most widely used map (I looked at the whole map, and it seems like they pain-stakingly copied it to the point that one
wouldn't be able to tell the difference between this map an the actual Lost Temple. Freaky). I'm truely concerned for them, as
many teens, generally making up the majority of those who play this game, seem to think if they don't fit in nowadays it
would be easier to take their life and be done with it. If anyone knows who made The Lost Temple
_Star) please tell them to contact a local psychologist for help.

eSu.FoReVeR (eSu) Terran at 12:00
SoSo[DaK] (DaK) Protoss at 6:00
|
THE BUILD ORDERS:
eSu began as most normal Terrans with a Depot at 8 to start the infamous wall-in, followed by
10Rax, 12Refinery, 14Depot, and comes to a Fact at 16 Supply.
On the other hand DaK went 8Pylon, 10Gate, 11Assimilator, 12Core, 16Pylon, 18Citidel, and finishes
off with a RoboFact at 18, planning for an early drop or maybe some quick Observers for scouting.
Alright, now that you know what's been built lets turn back the clock to the time DaK first laid down his starting Pylon. The Probe s/he used started its race around the map to find the enemy going counter-clockwise. With nothing at the 3main it continued on toward the 12main and found what it was looking for. At the ramp itself the Probe runs into another SCV attempting to do its down scouting and they immediatly break out into a fight. With higher health the Terran peon is the favored victor, but in the most micro-intensive part of the game the Probe dances around to recharge its shields while occasionally slapping the SCV, which reminded me of this one dance instructor I saw. (He was gay. All dance instructors are gay, but that's something I'll school you all in some other time. Don't forget to remind me) This eventually wears the SCV down and Probes comes out on top. It's not a long-lived celebration as another SCV comes in a cleans up. Durring that sorted affair
eSu had gotten another SCV out for scouting, and due to his micro being used elsewhere it was quickly dealth with by a Zeal with Probe support.
After that fierce melee both players started powering for other, yet not quite as grand, battles. eSu started rolling Tanks off the assembly line while Seige was being added and was already in process of making another Command Center to send to his natural while DaK added an Archives to allow of Dark Templar, hinting that the drop was really the path s/he would be taking.
In only moments DaK loaded a brand new Dark Templar and two Zeals (his/her total forces at this time) into a Shuttle while eSu started placing Turrets near his mineral line and new expo. Right when the Terran was setting more Turrets, this time at his front line, the Dark Templar dropped from the transport and began hacking away at the constructing detector. When it blew, the Tanks unSeiged and pulled back to the safety of the finished Turrets while the Templar kept his distance and started dealing away with the wall-in. The two Zeals, possibly while high or jelous of the Dark Templar's free kills, shuffled out and started attacking as well. Maybe they thought they were also invisible. That's another possibility. But for whatever reason, it will never be known as they were both cut down in short order by the Tanks, one right after the other.
Another quartet of cloaked blade-wielding warriors appeared, or didn't, to really put the pressure on. The Dark ones were doing well for some time, literally ripping eSu a new one, until all but one were commanded to run face first into Tank fire within a Turret's sight. Surprisingly, it didn't work out well for the melee-ranged units. Then, to better deal with this invisible threat eSu ordered up a set of Mine-packing Vultures. Once done they plated a few Mines next to the ramp where the last Dark Templar had stationed himself to block any exits by land. After taking a Mine to the between the eyes he thought it best to let eSu come and go as he pleased.
About this time eSu's previously warpblade-damaged Barracks had made its way over to scout DaK's base. Ow well. Both powered, the Terran having had started more Factories before the Rax bit the dust while the Protoss called in a few more Gates and took his/her natural.
Some time after that DaK laid down a new Nexus at his/her min-only expo and moved out a small offensive against eSu. Spider Mines errected themselves, Vultures fired up, Tanks let their loads go (none of them prematurly, mind you)... well, you get the picture. (actual picture not included)
Both players powered for a good amount of time, eSu placed in a Science Facility then went full blown Factory-troops with all types of piloted mechanical devices, Factory tested and Terran approved. The Heavy Metal gang stepped out into the open field just short of the Protoss forces without seeing them there, almost as if eSu had the ability to see the whole map at any given time. Eerie! Tanks Seiged up and waited. It didn't take very long for DaK to come charging head first into it with the reaction speed of a sight-hack user. Double eerie! A shit load of units on both sides fell in the resulting conflict.
More time passes, more money gained, more new units come into play. Cool. They again meet near eSu's natural valley with Tanks backed by Tank in Seige tear the advancing Khala to pieces in very short time. I'd make a shot of it, but it was too depressing. =(
At this point I was about ready to slit my wrist and end it all just to not have the option of finishing this report but the game didn't slow down long enough for me to find a sharp household object. DaK, again with his/her hack using gosu-like skills s/he directed a Transport to pick up a few Zeals just as eSu's Dropship moved within range of an Observer over the 9natural platue. A pair of Tanks rolled out, Seiged up, then laid into the golden spire structures that make up almost every type of Protoss building. It didn't long until the aformentioned Zeals landed via Shuttle and wasted the offenders. To ward off any more such attempts a few Pylons and a single Cannon were set up. (Make up your own jokes about that one. =T)
For the second time an Obs was wasted to make sure Vessles still Detect. While I was pondering the mysteries of such actions the players hopped into battle. One more time they sent their forces to take the center of the map. By now I'm thinking they have ESP, what with their abilities to predect one another's actions. I mean, DaK sent Zeals-only straight into the Goliath line. This move forced eSu to Seige all his Tanks and pull the walkers back. It's scary how good s/he is! Not only did the Zeals run straight into the Goliath's flank, but once the mechs rans away the Zeals kept pushing until they ran straight into the cluster of Tanks that were still bringing their long cannons to bear. Triple eerie! The battle displayed such fright-tactics like running High Templar into the enemy ranks and Storming random areas where there was nothing to hit, and waiting until the enemy has landed their Command Center at another base before rushing scouting that particular area. Well, the end result pushed eSu back into his natural valley again.
In mere moments DaK started to make his final assault. As is began a few Goons fell to random Tank fire, but when more and more of the once-dead and back-again Protoss streamed in it was too much for the AI and eSu combined to handle. Several Templar made a cameo and dished out a few storms, sealing the Terran's fate. S/he suffered minor casualties while leveling all but a few weakened units, meaning every Seige Tank and almost the entire army of Goliaths were done away with, but in the strangest move this game had yet the Protoss retreated like they had seen a fleet of Hallucinated Battle Cruisers.I'm really at a loss to even pretend to know why that happened. I can only thank God the time bar showed that things were wrapping up, or I wouldn't have finished this one either. The game ended with eSu's withdraw. GG, guys and/or gals.
