Map Twilight Dreams
This was a map that i created, and i made a 2v2 game, expecting some fun, not caring wether i won or lost. I dont remember the names of my opponents, so i'll call them enemy 1-3. It started out that we were going to play a 2v2 top vs bottom game, so we all chose races, talked a little trash (makes for a good game) and we were off. I allied with my partner, and started my 7 pylon build order. But after a minute or so, i noticed my partner hadn't allied yet. I asked him why, and got no response. By that time though, i knew what had happend. They had all turned on me, and i had given him vision! I turned off the ally, and began building gate, pylon, forge, 2 cannons. As i pumped out zealots, the first rush came. Followed by my lol, 1's ling rush was easily disposed of. Then, around 2 min later, both terrans were ringing my doorbell. I left the door shut, and with 8 zealots, barely made it with one half dead one left. I then sent the extra to scout, and saw that after 12 min, i was pretty much blocked in.
So, i hurried to make one expantion that was quickly disposed of. Then there was and odd occurence. I saw the two terran attacking the zerg!! The traitor was doublecrossed,
and they took him out very easily, after he had rushed me the second time. They left the area where he had been, and i set up and expantion there. For around 10 minutes after that, there we're not attacks, but around 12 min later, the big one came. Two fleets of Battlecruisers. I sent around 12 corsairs, but they were takin easily. Then, much to my suprise i saw ()Has left the game! All the battlecruisers that were left stopped, and i destroyed them. I saw a dammit come up from the remaining terra, and i knew i had the game won. I assaulted his base with 10 shuttles full of dark templar, and noticed that he had spent all his money on offense, and no detectors or bunkers at all. Within another 4 min or so, and 3 shuttles of goons to seal the deal, i had won the most suprising 3v1 game i have ever had. (this being the only one, being that most times people arent traitor)
Lessons Learned
+ Building on top of a vespene geyser can end the game for someone if you rush them
+ Never ally with someone till they do first
+ It helps alot if you know your partner ahead of time
+ What comes around goes around.....eventually
+ Talking to someone is a very good distraction, i always
ask them if they are female, they get mad and start
wastin time to yell at you, and it also will make you
smile. :)
+ Never give up hope, a game that looks over at 10 min
can be won at the 40 min mark. It has been done
+ If you ever see me on b.net, wisper for a game, and dont
turn on me, or you will be dealt with. lol
