vG)007 and 7Th-Smurf. This is quite a good game.
Game Details:
Map: The Lost Temple.
Players:
vG)007 is a long life broodwar fan who cant play anything else because
of his computer is to slow. 7Th-Smurf is part of the gosu 7th Clan
from aus-1 server
Positions: vG)007 9:00, 7th-Smurf 6.00
Races: vG)007 is protoss, 7th-Smurf is Zerg.
Build orders are pretty
normal:
Protoss: 8 Pylon, 9 GateWay, 12 Assimilator, 13 Core, 17 Pylon,
18 Robotics, 19 Forge and 20 Pylon.
Zerg: 9 overlord, 11 hatchery, 12 spawning pool, 13 gas, 19
Den.
The
Beginning:
vG)007 warps his first Pylon just to the right of his nexus, he then
sends his probe out to scout while he builds his first Gateway. He
then makes 1 Zealot where he rallies his units to the right of his
ramp, using two zealots to block he places them perfectly between the
entrance. While he also adds a cannon to the right of his ramp just
above the pylon, also another gate is warping where he starts to make
goons. Rallying his goons to the right of his ramp. Now that he has
goons he starts warping a Robotics Support. |
While 7th-Smurf has placed a hatchery just above his ramp inside his
base, a spawning pool just below his gas to the left of his minerals.
He then gets scouted by vG)007's probe. So he quickly builds a sunken
just below his Hatchery. Beginning to gather Hydralisk's just infront
of his ramp. When he has 10 Hydralisk he then selects them heading
towards vG)007's Base, where he assaults, the Zealots and Goons on the
ramp. Using vG)007's micro skills he kills 6 of the ten Hydralisk with
2 Zealots, his 2 goons and 1 cannon. Knowing he is under attack he
then users his Shuttle, drops out his reaven and kills the remanding
foe. Replacing the cannon, he then reloads his shuttle, then proceeds
to the top left of 7th-Smurfs base where he hits his mineral patch.
Where 7th-Smurf quickly rushes his drones out of the way of this
reavens course.
Recovering from the attack he placed a sunken to the upper top middle
of his mineral patch. Continuing to make Hydralisk's from one hatchery
and drones from the other. vG)007 is making 2 cannons to the top right
of his ramp. While they are warping he is researching storm, and
getting Templars, also getting an expansion, just above his main, he
then sends a zealot to scout 7th-Smurf. Just finishing his expansion
7th-Smurf runs into the Scout. Not knowing he was being Observed,
7th-Smurf then sends 30 hydralisk to attack vG)007, barley damaging
anything and getting owned by the storm, Goons and cannons, 7th-Smurf
starts another 2 hatcherys. One at his expansion and another at a new
expansion. Rerallying his units to the outside of his new expansion he
continues to pump hydralisk.
7th-smurf finally changed his point of attack, filling 3 overloads
with hydralisk's he sends them to vG)007's main. Destroying the only
one cannon and nexus at vG)007's base, vG)007 rushes with a dozen
units. Reloading his overloads 7th-smurf then retreats back to his
base, losing only 1 of his overlords. Also making another expansion
12:00.
vG)007 proceeds to 7th-Smurfs base using 8 Goons, 6 Zealots, 1 DT and
1 Reaven he attacks 7th-smurf injuring him quite badly. Pulling back
his drones quickly he makes 2 more sunkens outside his expansion.
Still coming with the hydralisk's he managers to push the enemy back.
Sending a hyralisk to scout 7th-smurf sees that vG)007 have a good
deal of units again. Noticing 7th-smurfs expansion at 12 he sends all
his units to attack but they are not enough for the base to fall. With
an army double the size he then head for 7th-smurfs main, but
7th-smurf's hydralisk are also heading towards his enemy both forces
clash. Goon juice and hydralisk blood is everywhere so they both
retreat back to base.
7th-smurf decides to throw in some Ultralisk. vG)007 with 8 goons,
about 16 Zealots and 5 stormer's attacks 7th-smurf hydralisk blood
goes everywhere. Destroying his other expansion going on a rampage he
rips through the hydralisk like a lawnmower cutting grass. So he head
on to his expansion just outside 7th-smurfs base where there is 5
sunkens and half a dozen hydralisk so he pulls back.
Recovering from the assault 7th-smurf begins to lava utralisks as well
as hydralisk. Nothing really happens again for about 5mins while both
forces mass. vG)007 makes the move with about 2 dozen men he hits
7th-smurfs main ripping throughout it like a beater. So 7th-smurf
counters him not doing much but damaging abit. After destroying the
main of 7th-smurf. vG)007 rushes back to save his expansion. Saving
his base he heads to 7th-smurfs expansion. Killing his remainder units
7th-smurf says gg and then leaves.
I believe it was a good game. A very good victory for vG)007.
7th-Smurf should have gone some air and well maybe throw in some
guards, lurkers and some lings. He should have dropped again around at
vG)007's main. It would have been bad for 7th-Smurf. Was gg and thank
