Now guys keep in mind that im writing this BR about a battle that occurred about 2 weeks ago; as i am now in a summer camp, i cant play bw :( , so i thought about writing a battle report. Anyway i think i recall the most significant attacks that were going on.
~~~ Chapter 1 : Death by Kakaru fans Sabotage ~~~
This epic combat took place in the map called Kakaru Keys, one of Johhny_Vegas' favorite battlefield.
Players:
UpgradedKakaru (me): Top left ZERG
ProZerg-Hybrid : Bottom left ZERG

Mark4: Top right PROTOSS
Johnny_Vegas : Bottom right (GUESS the race :)
Before starting: Johny: This is your map , kakaru
Kakaru: hehe, this map is full of my fans!!
Johnny: Try to bring them to your cause
Pro: Ill mid ctrol them
Kakaru: rofl, your zerg...
I decided to go for a fast 12 hydra drop on mark4, since i consider toss to be the most vulnerable to an early zerg drop; he was also closer to me. I went 2 hatch , then double lair for fast upgrades, while starting to pump hydras out.
In the meanwhile, my fierce ally, prozerg, had started a muta build order.
--------Da Drop--------
Kakaru Keys is, like Dire Straits, a map where it is easy to drop securely, since the islands are large. I chose to take a little risk by dropping behind mark4s peon line. Bouum!!!! Numerous probes were decapitated, but at the cost of almost all of my hydras. I micro managed my last hydras well enough to kill a reaver with limited damage, and a few templars as well.
While i was dropping, I had expanded to the middle island (the one with lotsa cash), and prozerg to the island between us and the one between him and johhny. Johhny had attempted to expand, but pro's mutas wouldnt let him...
After my first assault, prozerg sent a 8-10 mutas to try finishing off mark4. However, mark4 microed well, and killed all the mutas with storm, although he was more severly damaged.
-------Da second wave--------
I sent 12 more hydras in, but the evil vegas had dropped tanks on marks island in order to help out his ally.
I waited to mass more hydras, then gave another assault. Now mark4 was very severly damaged. It was becoming doubtful he would recover from his injuries. In the meanwhile, this silly boy had started to build a nexus at the expansion between him and johnny. I dropped 4 hydras there, forcing him to cancel his buildings.
Prozerg had done a very fine job massing mutas while containing vegas, while i was dealing with his ally.
-------The kakarus intervention-----
Vegas had bunkered up his ally pretty well, and it was becoming hard to finish mark, who kept casting sdtorm on my hydras. Fortunately, my kakaru fans who had been flying over the battlefield for half an hour decided to give me a little help. They undertook gracious dumps on marks temps and johnnys marines, blinding them forever....
no ok lets be serious :)
It finished this way: I sent a final wave of hydras backed up by pro's mutas.
Mark4 was elimiated.
Johnny_vegas has left the game.

sorry if i didnt mention much of the lethal battles between johhny and pro, but i was focusing on the upper side of the map. yea i know it sux when the player writes the BR.
Lessons learned:
-2 hatch is WAY more effective than 2 hatch on island map drops
- a hydra/ muta combo can be deadly for toss and terran
- temps and tanks really can hold off hydras attack.. diversity is really essential to win a game. Had i got broodling, the game wouyld have ended much sooner
- mark and johhny are very good players :} Its hard to undermine them, even if we got the edge.
now ladies and gentelemen, sit back , get a coke, relax, get in a comfortqable position to hear about the action packed rematch!!!
Chapter 2: Kakaru wing for supper
This was a rematch, right after last game.
Lost temple was agreed upon.
UpgradedKakaru : 3 oclock ZERG (yea im addicted to that brood since i saw ahscar playing with them :)
ProzergHybrid: The much feared toss 6 oclock
VS
Johhny_vegas the sneaky evil terran microman :) 9 oclock
Mark4 : The almighty protoss ruler 12 oclock
Mark and johhny were angry after their last loss, so they decided to set the pace during that game. Mark went hard zealots in early game, and johhny built marines. Prozerg teched up while canoning himself in. I went hydras, defending with a few sunkens while teching up to hydras.
----vegas team want to set the pace-------
Mark and johhny double rushed my ally, prozerg. It was hard for him to defend, especially because i hadnt pumped many hydras out yet, and he mainly had canons. I thought he was gone, but suddenly, out of the blues, 2 dark temps exited the gateways, cutting in little pieces the opponents forces with their mighty blades. The first attacked had been reppelled, but damages were severe in pros base.
------Johhnys main goes down----------
I expanded to my natural and to another xpansion spot, while pro took the island in south east, johhny his natural, and mark his natural.
Now pro had started gettin reavers and goons, hoping to tech up to carriers later on. I had now quite a lot of hydras, and had developed all upgrades for overlords at my hive. I know johnny always builds very strong chokes, so i dropped 12 hydras at the back of his almost unit empty base. However, i lost all my 12 hydras, after killing many of his troops, and a templar or 2 which had been sent by the fierce toss ally, mark4. Not a minute later, i dropped 24++ hydras on johhnys main. I killed all the buildings left in his main.
---------How i wasted the good chances we had to win---
I would like to introduce this episode of the battle by a quotation from Ahscar: "Dont attack until you KNOW you have him".
Since i am not much of a micro man, i should have adoptedt his tactic, and that is probably one of the reaons why we lost that game which had started off well for us, until mid game.
Now i had my 24++ hydras on the upper plateau at 9 oclock; they were still contemplating the ruins of the dead terran main base, waiting for overlords to get them.
I then made the first of my bad moves in this game: I dropped these 24 hydras in johnnys natural, although there were tanks and temps everywhere. I lost all my troops without causing much damage. I realised that johhny had alos seized the expamnsion near his natural, which is easy to protect when u start at the 9 oclock start location. I pumped out 24 more hydras, which were now 2/2 upgraded, and sent them on foot to johhnys 2nd expansion. This time , the attack wasnt that much a failure, since i managed to deal some quite serious damage, creating quite a lot of havoc in the terran peon line.
I then attacked mark4s third expansion, killing half of his probes, but at the cost of 8 hydras: again, it wasnt a very good idea. I often realise when i lose games as a zerg that its because i get exhausted too fast, since im trying to attack constantly. Against good microers, this doesnt work well, and id better wait a bit more before attackin.
At this point , i had a defenseless base, undefended since i had gone for an all unit defense, having only 3 sunkens at my main. I recall saying this to my ally: If they attack now, im gone.
Indeed, mark and johny slaughtered all my bases with ground infantry. My allies carriers fell soon after under dragoon fire. There had been though, a funny chase, during which pro had killed many expanions, by hitting and running.

Lessons learned:
-Dont get exhausted too fast if you are zerg
-temple isnt a good map to tech on
- i suck when i dont have my fans on the map :)
I hope you enjoyed reading this battlereports, because i liked both games really, they were quite interestesting and funny:)
Some day, we should have a 3rd game (this series being then a 2 out of 3)
