After reading the comments I got on my last BR I have looked for a better game. I found one by downloading a replay off of this site of a battle between Lime and [AKB2K]-Pig who will be henceforth known as Pig.
WARNING: THIS BR CONTAINS NO PICS, AND VERY LITTLE HTML, ANY ILLERTERATES THAT JUST OOGLE AT THE SHINEY PICS, LEAVE NOW. THANK YOU
There now that’s over with we can get going with the game
Pre-Game stats below
Map - Neo Jungle Story, hmmmmm…… this maps a little hard to describe. The best I can do is this. The map is like LT, but the “mains” of LT are islands atop of high ground and the mains of this map are like LT’s naturals. The mains are at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock. The mains have 9 mineral patches each containing 1500 min. and a geyser with 5000 gas. The high ground islands have only 6 patches and a geyser, the min. have 1500 min. and the geyser with 5000 gas. A narrow river and the maps edge create a small chokepoint and a little ways outside the chokepoint is a mineral only expansion with 7 patches that have 1500 min. each. In the middle of this map, instead of a holy Protoss temple, there is a massive expansion site that has a whopping 16 mineral patches and 2 geysers with the same amount of resources as the other patches and geysers. There that’s the best I can do, if you are unsatisfied with my description then too bad because that’s all your getting.
Players
Lime - This player commanded the highly disciplined Terran army that was dressed in a fear instilling blood red. A dropship established the colony at the 6 o’clock position
Pig - This player contacted a local cerebrate and with his smooth talking was able to convince the giant slug into lending him the frightening Zerg that evolved a righteous white skin. Creep was sighted at the 12 o’clock area, letting us know that is where they started.
Now for some bloodshed.
Both commanders tell their peons to harvest minerals, but first Lime had to tell his SCV pilots to stop having sex with the medics. Workers are cloned and pumped while a giant living blimp starts to slowly trot his way from the 12 main, to the 3 main. Now for build orders
Lime depot on 9, Scouting on 10, Rax at his choke on 12, Gas on 13, 2nd Rax on 15, Depot at his choke (but no wall in) on 17, and an Academy on 20.
Pig Overlord on 9, Extractor trick so you can get an extra drone on 9, Scouting on 10, Hatchery at his choke on 12, Pool on 11, Gas on 13, Overlord on 18, and a Lair on 18.
As soon as the 1st rax is finished the lights begin to flash signaling the beginning of boot camp for some marines. Pig also makes some military units upon the completion of his spawning pool and soon six lings are standing tall inside the Zerg base. Another 2 quickly join these 6 and the 8 deadly lings make their way through the jungle towards the enemy encampment. The unknowing humans have 4 defending rines but the travel time between bases will allow for more before the bloodthirsty lings arrive. A short pause in the lings’ trip allows for more company in the form of 4 more lings, raising the count to 12. Zergling speed is being evolved at the same time stim packs are being researched. The invading lings back off to group, giving the Terrans a chance to train medics to accompany the 8 defending rines. Pig’s aims become clear now as a Spire is morphed after the visage of a Lair appears in the Zerg base.
Come on, somebody die already
I’m sure that’s what you’re all saying about now. And it will come soon enough, but not right now. A ComSat station was constructed next to the terran C.C. and 2 quick scans over the zerg choke and main reveal no defenders to Lime, seizing the opportunity 8 rines, 1 bat, and 2 medics start a trek across the map towards the enemy. A little ways outside of the their own choke the trek is detained because Lime’s troops come across an oddly placed ling that was left by Pig to track Terran movements. The idea worked because after seeing the defenders move away from their base Pigs lings assault the under prepared base. Before Limes solders can react, 11 speed upgraded lings are ripping open a supply depot, and then one of two guarding rines. A quick stim allows the absent forces to hurry back to the base before any valuable SCV’s are harmed. Fortunately none of the workers were destroyed before the ground was soaked with the blood of the zerg.
Before the attack was launched Lime commanded an SCV to begin constructing a Command Center for an expansion, most likely to the high ground above him. Pig, seeing how if the Terran infantry were not so preoccupied with ridding their base of lings, would have marched all the way to his base and destroyed it, begins the morphing of 2 creep colonies at his choke. Yet this is not the only new addition to his base as a spire erupts from its fleshy cocoon to enable the building of scourge and mutalisk. Which is exactly what Pig does , three larvae instantly turn into cocoons, slowly turning from harmless worms, to terrifying mutalisks. Three more mutas are morphed from the lair as well.
But while this is going on, Lime has been anything but idle. He has completed his CC and lifted it off to the high ground natural, constructed an engineering bay and a factory, and gave courteously to the “Make our marines shoot farther” foundation in the form of U-238 shells. But even though he is doing all these things Lime dos not neglect his scouting, and a good thing too, because a scanner sweep reveals to him the completed spire and freshly hatched mutalisks. Upon seeing the flying terrors, Lime retreats his M&M from his choke, to his SCVs carefully watching over them like a shepherd watching his flock. Pig also sent 7 lings after the mutalisks to take advantage of an under defended front door.
The mutas arrive and begin whacking SCVs but soon are withdrawn when stimmed rines start shooting at them. They move to the safety of the high ground where a helpless CC has just landed, they soon begin tacking whacks at it. Lime’s factory is completed and a machine shop added at the same time the construction of a starport is underway. Another mutalisk hit and run attack is easily repulsed by M&M and this time, one muta is lost. Upon seeing that these attacks aren’t exactly working real well, Pig decides it would be wise to support the mutas with ground units and he promptly adds a hydralisk den to his base.
Keeping Lime on the defensive Pig launches a double pronged attack with five mutas coming in from across the river and 12 lings hitting the choke. With the majority of his defending rines guarding the valuable SCVs Lime is hard pressed to defend against such an assault. The mutas quickly kill an SCV that was busily constructing a starport and then move to the choke to regroup with the zerglings. These 2 forces begin destroying a Barracks, but Lime floats it high into the air, thus only allowing the mutas to strike it. This maneuver bought enough time to bring several rines to engage the attackers. All of the lings are quickly destroyed and Pig retreats the mutas, but still loses one to the gauss rifle fire. The same gauss rifle fire that will soon be upgraded by terran scientists in the engineering bay.
Pig sends a drone to the 3 o’clock main and starts an expansion. He floats an overlord behind the minerals to watch for drops that could eliminate the budding expansion while it is in its infancy stages. Lime then moves his defending rines to the middle of his base, assigns and SCV to finish the building of his starport, and also begins building a missile turret behind his minerals to defend against the hit and run attacks of Pig’s mutas. But he didn’t do it fast enough as the mutas that ran away earlier quickly return, with a vengeance, and a lust for SCV blood/oil. The unlucky SCV that was building the turret becomes an immediate target, and his life is ended within seconds. The aerial rampage has just begun and soon 3 more miners are sent to the great command center in the sky, or Hell, depending on how they acted during their life. The airborne menace retreats like a little pansy at the telltale sound of stimming marines and the peons (I love that word) are safe once more.
More turrets are built throughout the terran base, but his attention is drawed to his choke as 6 drunk and horny zerglings knock on the door to a barracks, hoping to crack it open and get to the medics that are probably at this moment undressing. Yet 3 marines and a tank soon rescue the helpless and naked medics. They are quickly joined by more rines, also hoping to get a glimpse of naked medics, but first the kill the intruding lings. Then 5 mutas, joined by 3 more to make 8, attack the SCVs. They retreat after seeing a missile turret, but again attack after seeing that it is in a weakened state, after it falls, 2 SCVs and another under construction missile turret join it. The pesky mutas are chased away by rines that blow one of them out of the air while they retreat.
Lime makes a few scans at expansion sites and finds Pig’s expo at the 3 o’clock main. Pig’s strategy becomes clear as lurker aspect is being evolved at the newly formed hydralisk den. Mutas again come flying at the SCVs, but a small detachment of marines that are overlooking the construction of missile turrets drive them away. But these mutas won’t take no for an answer and they swing around and assault the top of Lime’s base, but they are again driven off by quick thinking marines.
The rines gain more powerful guns, and the research for better armor begins. A dropship is almost ready to fly from Limes starport, and 22 zerglings and 5 mutas attack the choke of the terran base. Tanks and several rines drive of the lings but not before many marines had their lives cut tragically short by razor sharp claws the mutas AGAIN retreat but they lose 2 of their number first. Meanwhile two hydralisks complete a journey across the jungle and begin transforming into lurkers right outside the terran base. Tanks enter siege mode, providing a formidable defense, and lurkers burrow, providing a formidable containment force when paired with many mutalisks. The dropship is complete and picks up 7 rines and a medic for a drop on Pigs main. The ship flys dangerously close to a mutalisk that providing air support for 6 lings and 3 lurks.
The dropship delivers its deadly cargo on top of Pigs drones and 6 of them pay the price for PigsPigs base, his lair was half way through adding ventral sacs to all his ovies, Limes rines became much more formidable by finding nice new shiny, level 1 armor in their footlockers, and the dropship that dropped rines on Pigs drones returned home and carried 3 rines and 5 SCVs to the high ground along with a CC to start and expo. (Damn that’s a long sentence) An awkward peace fell over the battleground as both enemies rebuilt their armies and the zerg strengthened their warriors with a more resilient carapace. Limes expo gained defense in the form of 3 turrets, and his main gained some points to its IQ in the form of a science facility
This peace does not look like it will last long however, as Pig continues to amass troops outside of Limes chokepoint. With the science facility, a science vessel is being made to counter the lurks that Lime saw in a scan of Pigs base. And Pig creates some scourge, to counter the SV’s that he is sure Lime will make to counter his lurks. The next move is made by the zerg as 8 mutas crash into the top of Limes base, again from across the stream. After doing no real damage they run back across the river to safety, but after seeing the only thing there is one turret, Pig sends them back into the base. But his first attack allowed for Lime to move a group of marines to defend is valuable tech structures (sci facility, e bay, starport, and several depots) and the next attack is foiled with Pig losing one muta, and Lime losing one turret.
Once again an awkward silence falls atop the jungle as both forces prepare for a long hard fight. A sign of things to come appears when the lights start flashing in Limes science facility, it appears the scientists are trying to figure out a way to launch radioactive particles at enemy units. At this point Pig goes after as many expansion sites as he can. He takes the 3 o’clock min. only, his high ground natural, upgrades hydra speed, and adds a queens nest to the expo at 3 o’clock’s main, signaling a tech to hive is near. Lime also takes this time to beef up his weapon of choice, marines with the beginning of another weapon upgrade, he also adds another missile turret and a bunker to his high ground expansion, making its defenses 4 turrets and 1 bunker filled with 3 marines while 2 medics stand outside of it. Some scourge patrol outside of the terran base, effectively preventing any more sneaky drops. A quick scan reveals to Lime the large force stationed just outside his base, and after wiping the crap from the back of his pants he moves all available units to his choke. Pig looks to be using a lot of lurks and hydras and starts an upgrade of their attack power.
The morph to hive commences in the Zerg main while gasp what’s this???? It actually looks like Lime is going on the offensive, is it true?? Well, is it?? YES it looks like Lime is tired of sitting back in his base, just waiting for the next attack so he can stop it, and he’s gonna do something about it. A large force of 13 marines, 2 medics, 1 SV, and 6 tanks move out headed directly for Pigs containment force of 10 mutas, 5 lurks, and 32 lings. The rines are 1-1 in upgrades, have U-238 range, and stim. The tanks have no upgrades but have siege mode. The lurks and lings are 1-0 (armor, attack) and 2 lurks are buried, the mutas are 0-0, and the lings are in 3 separate groups and two of them are far away from the point of conflict. OK, place your bets folks, I’ll give you 10 seconds

OK folks, the bookies will not take anymore bets from this point. I wish you all good luck. The tanks forge ahead of the marines to blaze a trail for them and are the first to encounter the mutas. One of the tanks goes down fast and it sparks the entire battle to commence. The mutas move onto fight the rines and go down faster than Enron. Lurks move next to the tanks and burrow, the first group of lings charge froward, quickly followed by the other 2. Lime, quickly sieges his tanks and the rines, after ridding the sky of mutas, engage the lings and buy the tanks some time. I takes awhile for the lurks to burrow and all but only 2 are able, but these are quickly finished by a combination of marine and tank fire. Only 2 tanks survive the sieging process and they start murdering lings by the trove. The lings target the tanks and are able to eliminate them before gauss rifles spell their end in ling blood. Both sides suffer insane losses but the winner of this battle is…………..LIME, yes that’s right, all people who betted for lime please see the bookies and you will be given twice your bet. But it doesn’t look like he’ll come out victorious in his next battle as the only thing that stands tall after the fight is 3 rines and 2 meds.
Lime sends them out to do what they probably originally intended to do. Attack Pigs 3 o’clock main expo. But Lime does not tell them to attack move, so first the ragtag group wander into and out of Pigs 3 o’clock natural expo, the solders are attacked by some quickly made lings and ripped to shreds. Pig soon has 2 lurkers taking a stroll in the woods and they soon find them selves in front of a barracks, so they do what lurkers do best. No, not lurk, burrowing and ripping out the entrails of marines is what lurkers do best. One is killed but the rines retreat afterward and allow the remaining one to hit the barracks. This one remaining lurker is killed by an SV casting irradiate and a few painful shots from a nearby tank.
Lime knows that to win this battle he will have to contend with the amount of units Pig is spewing out of his 5 hatcheries (he has 6 but one can only give units via overlord drop) So he adds a 3rd and 4th rax to his main. And speaking of 5 hatches, a force of 12 lings and 9 hydras is on its way to the terrans base at that very moment. Thanks to his hive Pig is able to make is normal old crappy spire greater, and give is lings adrenaline, so he does that. And it’s only a matter of time before some high tech things come crashing into the human resistance. Lime again musters up the men to strike at the zerg and moves out a force consisting of 6 meds, 1 tank, 9 rines, 2 SV’s and an uber SCV that is still carrying a payload of minerals. The forces first opponents are 3 hydras, one is quickly irradiated and the other 2 are pummeled into little sticky pieces of flesh and other internal organs ewwwwwww.
Those 3 hydras were a small part of the larger force that I said was going towards Limes base. The rest of this force, after seeing the terran infantry, cry, and then run away. Yet 12 reinforcing lings are on their way there. So the hydras and lings wipe the tears from their eyes to look as fearsome as possible (lol, I just envisioned a hydra crying, hehehe). Adrenaline glands have long since completed and I believe theirs about to be some major ass kicking. Especially since soon hydras will be able to shoot farther. That uber SCV begins constructing a CC, thus showing me the groups mission is to rid their natural of hostiles. But it will be a hard fight as several more units bolster the group of zerg standing a little whiles away from the terran infantry. Pig possesses 22 lings, 9 hydras, and 9 mutas, up against the force I mentioned earlier, I’m to lazy to type it again. Yet 9 mutas quickly becomes 1 muta as giant floating cocoons appear in the air, and soon giant floating crabs appear in the air.
But that battle will have to wait as a dropship filled with 8 rines flies over the landscape, headed towards the 3 o’clock main. This dropship unloads its machine gun toting cargo and several drones are raped by bullets before they can make it away, saving units for the bigger, more decisive fight Pig does not send reinforcements and instead abandons the expansion. Not to far away, the larger forces engage in a massive battle that will determine who will control Limes natural. The terran infantry seem to be holding their own against the countless zerg troops. Until the acid puking crabs appear, when these things arrive Lime makes a wise decision and retreats, only 1 tank, 4 meds, and the 2 uber SCVs survive the slaughter. The guards spit at buildings across the river, mainly Limes starport and some depots, this threat is ended in a giant green radioactive cloud as several SV cast irradiate. The few remaining ones are dealt with by M&M, but the damage is done and the terrans no longer posses a starport. But it’s quickly rebuilt so it doesn’t really matter.
And despite all that Pig has done to hinder the expansion attempts, the CC was able to land and add a ComSat to itself. 3 SV’s and a whole assload of M&M are guarding this new expansion. At this point, both mains are pretty much mined out so expansions become crucial. And right now both players have 2. But Pig doesn’t like those numbers so he expands to his mineral only, raising the expo count from 2 each, to 2 to 3. Two guards fly to the back of Limes newest expansion and begin melting SCVs. Lime responds with his anti-guard irradiate defense and the flying crabs are soon raining down upon the red peons, but not before 5 go with them. (If I had a pi right here the alt text would say “when zerg die, do they go to zerg hell?” just a thought).
SCVs continue to raise turrets at the expo to guard against the creepy flying thingies that zerg use. But perhaps he is building them at the wrong expo, as 9 ovies pick up a massive army into their sacs, the army was assembling at Pigs first expo. And looks to be head to Limes first expo. This force consists of 4 lurks, 18 hydras, and 15 lings. Meanwhile, Lime makes 2 more raxs at his new expansion, bringing his count to 6. This force is dropped on the expansion, many zerg die for their being such little defense but in the end the hydras stand tall over the crumpled scrap that were once SCVs. Some of them look at their next target, Limes main, but most blow raspberries at their fallen enemies and chant nany nany boo boo. At this time Lime gets an idea based on the ancient laws of Babylon, an eye for an eye, or in this case an expo for an expo. The terran commander moves out a force of 15 rines, 6 meds, and 2 tanks to deal with pesky sunkens, to Pigs first expo, the army first encounters some lings but they are easily crushed with minimal losses to the elite terran infantry.
Meanwhile back at Limes main, the remaining forces that destroyed his expo just got dropped where his minerals use to be, luckily the general (general, commander, same thing) had some infantry left behind to guard from such an attack. But they prove to be an insufficient deterrent as they are cut through like scissors cuts through paper. The zerg hydras then set some buildings aflame and continue rampaging through the base. They head towards the barracks’, but thanks to some crafty building placement (or maybe it was by accident, I don’t know) the hydras get caught in a maze while rines, and tanks blast them from afar. At the same time, the terran forces are in a heated battle for Pigs expo, and they have already lost a tank due to sloppy coverage by the rines. After the tanks shell the expansion for awhile the rines stim and move in a bit. The tanks continue to shell, but they cross the line when they start beating some drones. Pigs forces charge at the tank push and seem to be losing horribly. But then a squad of lings flanks the tanks from the side and destroys them with ease. With the tanks gone it’s only a matter of a few seconds before all forms of terran life are extinguished from the site.
The victorious defenders press onward to Limes expansion and succeed in doing absolutely nothing before they are all crushed like rock crushes scissors. Seeing as how it would take an insane amount of troops to destroy the terrans Pig creates an ultralisk cavern. Only the ultralisk can sustain a heavy pounding from the now 2-3 marines. To further enhance the living tanks Pig starts evolving speedier ultras. At about this time he also drops 2 lurks behind the minerals of Limes only expansion. The reaction is a SV coming over to irradiate them. But as we all know, irradiate takes time, and before the lurks turn into little pools of blood, they kill 5 SCVs.
Lime knows that his opponent has expanded all over the map. And there’s only one way he can match resource flow of Pig He has to capture the abundant resources in the center of the map. A very large force of tanks, M&M, SVs, and another uber SCV move out to exterminate any zerg presence in the area. Fortunately for the terran there are only a few scattered units that quickly run away. The uber SCV constructs a CC in the middle of the resources while the accompanying army sits to the right of it. This defensive formation leaves the entire left side of the expansion open to attack. Unfortunately an overlord flys by and spots the expo, and now knowing of it Pig rallies an extremely large force consisting of lings, hydras, and ultras, but more lings then anything else. This force sits to the left and top of Limes expansion, suggesting a flank attack. The marines finally notice the giant floating gas bag and chase him off with their guns. Pig almost loses control and starts to send in a large part of his army, but at the last second he pulls them back. The CC is complete and begins pumping SCVs. Increase ultra speed is complete and the cavern starts evolving extra armor. All in preparation for the coming fight.

Limes rines reach 3-3 and Pig launches the massive attack at the terrans expansion. Lings and ultras are 3-2, hydras are 3-1 (armor, attack). Again you might want to see the bookies for this one folks. At first the infantry is holding their own, murdering lings before they can get close to them. But then the ultras are sent in, and as more and more rines focus their fire on the living tanks, the less fire is directed towards the lings. Not nearly as many lings are dying and since the ultras are absorbing most of the damage, the lings start ripping the marines apart and making their entrails, outtrails.
The rines are defeated and the remaining few lings and ultras disassemble the expansion. Yet Lime still casts irradiate on the 3 ultras that are left, even though it wont be enough to kill any of them. But the reason for this becomes clear as a conga line of rines walks into the expansion. The weakened ultras are finished in no time and the remaining lings are smothered in a cloud of bullets, like paper smothers rock (woo hoo, that’s the last of the paper/rock/scissors references). But Pigwon’t give up that easily and within a few seconds several groups of reinforcing hydras and lings kill the rines. The expansion is trashed and the zerg forces press on into Limes last remaining source of income. With all the defending troops sent to retake the bigger expansion, the one being attack is defenseless. Not being able to reinforce it fast or well enough, Lime concedes a well fought game to the superior zerg commander, Pig
