Map: The Lost Temple

The Players:

The game starts out with Praetor Newb-basher warping into the 9 o'clock position, and his rival who heard he was coming to this planet to search for a lost Xel'naga temple has followed him, Praetor I_AM_NAKED warps into the 6 o'clock position. Kerrigan's spies reported two protoss fleets heading to a remote planet so she sends two of her own zerg swarms to check out why the protoss find this planet so interesting. On the trip there 1 of the broods (jEseS07) grows tired of kerrigans endless missions and decides to rebel and attempt to take out ~~~{kyle}~~~ at any cost, as well as secure this new planet on the outskirts of protoss territory.

Praetor Newb-basher had detected I_AM_NAKED following him but decided since he was an unexperienced praetor of only 90 years he wouldnt be of any threat in this mission to find the lost Xel'naga temple. But on his first scouting mission he discovered something he didnt expect to see on this planet.. a zerg! Why would a zerg be on this planet he wonders.

Meanwhile in jEseS07's base he has teched up to a spawning pool and begun his scouting mission for ~~~{kyle}~~~. He discovers him just to the northwest of him so decides to attempt a sunken rush. ~~~{kyle}~~~ expecting some sort of idiotic attack he stops this with some drones.

Now using their time wisely the players choose their long game strategy, jEseS07 has decided to do a mutalisk / hydra mix while ~~~{kyle}~~~ is going with hydra/ling. I_AM_NAKED has now teched almost all the way to templar tech, while Newb-Basher has taken his time to expand to his natural expansion, securing that with zealots/dragoons and a couple cannons. At this point in time the only person who hasnt secured his natural is I_AM_NAKED.

Now growing restless I_AM_NAKED decides to attempt a raid on jEseS07's expansion with 2 dark templars ( having scouted the expand and saw no overlords there. At the same time ~~~{kyle}~~~ was preparing a zergling raid for jEseS07 as well. Newb-Basher's probe while scouting I_AM_NAKED noticed a ripple effect and reported it to his Praetor. Since after a few moments nothing attempted to attack him Newb-basher decided that I_AM_NAKED must be attacking somewhere else, so decides to attack I_AM_NAKED with most of his force of zealots and dragoons(taking out his expand attempt). Also at this time jEseS07 decides to try to attack with his 8 mutalisks onto ~~~{kyles}~~~ main base (during this time i think he never noticed the attack on his expand)

After this big exchange, 2 of the 4 armies on the planet have lost their expansions, while the other 2 armies have their expands quite secure, ~~~{kyle}~~~ with 2 expands and newb-basher with 1 expand. After scouting jEseS07's expansion and seeing it wasted Praetor Newb-Basher decides to attempt a raid on ~~~{kyle}~~~ 's natural expansion (not having scouted his mineral only expand yet). The raid was met with little resistance since ~~~{kyle}~~~ had just used most of his troops in an attempt to take out jEseS07's main (unsucessfully).

During this battle I_AM_NAKED decides to attempt a drop of 3 dark templar on Newb-Bashers main base. Newb-Basher barely fends this attack off with probes and 2 cannons, the last of his cannons surviving with only a fraction of its life left.

After the sucessful destruction of ~~~{kyle}~~~'s expansion and the drop on his main newb-basher decides to attack jEseS07's natural to see if he has attempted to expand there once again after its death. Low and behold he has, and all that is protecting it is a handful of hydralisks. The expand falls in no time. During this attack ~~~{kyle}~~~ scouts newb-basher's main with a group of 6 or 7 overlords full of hydras, seeing it protected now with templar / cannons and some dragoons decides not to drop, instead dropping on I_AM_NAKED's main base, with fatal consequences for I_AM_NAKED. Losing his main base all I_AM_NAKED has left now is his island expansion. Newb-basher in a bold move sent the forces he had remaining at jEseS07's main base into his main to attempt the final blow, but was met with hydra / mutalisk force and quickly dispelled.

Now after about 10 minutes of never being scouted a meandering dragoon finally spots ~~~{kyle}~~~'s mineral only expansion and quickly calls for reinforcments to take this expand out.After taking this expand out with little loss (since all that was defending it was 2 sunkens and 2 hydras) he proceeds into ~~~{kyle}~~~'s main base with his force of 4 templar and mixed up zealots and dragoons. The force is stopped with some decent micro by ~~~{kyle}~~~ but all he has left is 1 sunken and a hydra. And the hydra has little time to celebrate because Newb-Basher's second wave arrives in just a few short moments. Now out of desperation ater losing his main ~~~{kyle}~~~ attempts a suicidal attack on I_AM_NAKED's island. Which is met with probe and cannon resistance

Newb-Basher is now expanding to the 6 oclock mineral only and natural expand. He also attempts to take jEseS07's ramp but is met with a force of hydralisks and lurkers. Not being one to give up easily I_AM_NAKED decides to off cannon the ledge of Newb-Bashers main base while ~~~{kyle}~~~ attempted to expand to 6 oclock main, soon being scouted by Newb-Basher and ripped to shreds. The off cannon by I_AM_NAKED only claims the lives of 5 probes, the rest retreating to the new expansions at 6 natural and mineral expands. 6 natural is soon spotted and off cannoned too. While this is happening Newb-Basher has finally won jEseS07's ramp with templars and an observer support. But what's this?? Newb-Basher after figuring he has pretty much won the game and has a high cash count decided to tech to carriers! Which puts a stop to all these cannons on the ledges in no time.

Embarassed after losing to his rival, I_AM_NAKED warps off of the planet and returns to Aiur, while the remaining zerg are quickly dealt with. Praetor Newb-Basher is victorious and has secured the lost Xel'naga temple, but he has a feeling this isnt the first and definately wont be the last battle on this planet, for the secrets of the lost temple will be wanted by all factions in the universe. But he is prepared to defend it valiantly, whatever the cost.

Well that concludes my BR... hope you enjoyed, anyways.. this is only my second br ever heh my first one being 2 years ago ... again, i hope you enjoyed :) And feel free to flame me on my chobo image editing o_O i didnt have time to do anything fancy heh...
