Hello and welcome to another ZerG~LinG report. For this report, i have decided to stop my Lost Temple streak and go ahead with a new map, and a new battle(not 1v1).
BUT because b.net is mostly BGH and LT i decided to scan the gosu replay section at scnation. As i enter the site, one particular download cathes my eye. A FFA on BLood Bath? with Grrr in it? Must be good then! I clicked it, viewed it and i was stunned, was it the pure quality of the replay that stunned me? no. actually the night before it had rained heavily, and since my comp is in our basement it got soaked. As i touched the on/off switch on my modem, i got stunned :-/ *cough* lame intro *cough* ANYWAYS on with the report:
ThE PLaYerS
PlayGrrrr... Extremely well know player, won everything there is to win. His experience allows him to play at top competition level, without playing 10 hours a day. Toss GOD.
Liquid`Nazgul Also quite known, gosu terran and a nice zerg.
PeOns_Rice Great terran player, lesser known but equaly skilled.

ThE StArT
As we all know a picture is worth a thousand words, so here's a starter pic:
Grrrr opens with a 8 pylon followed by two gates, going for mass zeals, pretty standard FFA strat.
Rice constructs a depot on 8 barrack on 10 and 12, later followed by a third. Massing marines.
Rabbit spawns a early 8 pool, adding a hatch, gas and hydra den later, going for lurks/hydra.
Nazgul also early pool's adding early gas for a quick speedling rush.
Early game fun
As all players go low tech(pretty clever on blood bath)the early attacks quickly start: while nazgul is harrasing Grrr with his first lings, Rabbit attacks Nazgul, who retreats his lings and clear his base of the attackers. Nazgul quickly pumps 12~ lings and attack Grrrr, after some harrasment, his attack is repulsed by the power *cough* of the probe. But noone attacks Grrrr unpunished, and Grrrr attacks Nazgul's 1 sunken, 4 ling defence, even with the help of drones Nazgul becomes the FFA's first victim,GG!
Rice has so far been quiet, almost...TOO QUIET! and now we see why, 18~rines smash into Rabbit's defence, Rabbit has been teching and have only a few lings/1 sunken. As the marines continue to lay waste to a hatch and pool, 6 zeals from Grrrr arrives on the battle ground, so is the rules of FFA, there is none! Rice retreats with the zeals trailing behind.
The build up
As an uneasy peace falls upon the bloody grounds, the 3 players take time to tech, or add more buildings, Rabbits lurker tech is complete and he immediatly takes it to Grrrr, but meets two cannons and 4 zeals, and is forced to burrow in the middle. Grrrr techs to temps/dt's and uses his first two dt's
to harass some innocent hydra(innocent, as in lethal acid spitting monsters). Rice, once again is building a huge m&m army, with 40+ infantry soon ready, trained from the 3 barracks, he also adds a factory, going for siege, and a starport.
How the map got its name...
Grrrr is quickly bored with this, uneasy stalemate, so he takes his 10 zeal/3 temp army to Rabbit, the army meets only little resistance, and with a single storm, Grrrr takes out Rabbit's 8 hydra, clumped together, although Rabbit ensnare's the attackers, Nothing seems to stop the onslaght, except, the horros of FFA! Rice takes the oppotunity to rally his huge(50+ m&m)force to Grrrr choke, all he has for defence is three cannons a templar(which proves very effective vs the infantry)and some zeals. As Rice attacks, Grrrr can't micro the forces at Rabbit, and they get killed by newly spawned hydra. But that is far from being Grrrr's biggest worry, 50+ infantry is knocking on his door ithcing to taste(eeewwww!)the nutricious blue liquid that comes from a dying protoss *music from 50's vampire film in background* As the infantry mow down the cannon at the choke, a storm flies above them, taking many of the terran commanders finest men. Zeals engage from the back off Grrrr's base and another storm flies, the marines stim, and make noises like a 28 year old junkie(yeah thats the stuff!! -ed) It seems as though the marines will win, but suddenly a strange zerg unit flies above them, a queen releases its little green package and 20+ infantry is suddenly slowed down. Zeals rush in and kill the rines while yet another storm is released ont he unsuspecting men. Rice retreats what he has left.
As Rice comes back to his base he finds the greatest pleasure of having good macro, 20 fresh m&m troops await him, now with the addition of firebat, he is confident that the toss forces won't stand a chance.
Rice's new force, consisting of 30 misc. infantry slams into Grrrr once again, storm fly, marines stim, zeals chop away at bats. The fighting is fierce, but once again, Rice limps away with 7 medic and a lone marine.
In the midst of this action, Grrrr got a probe through and expanded at Nazguls old main. Rabbit quickly sees this and with his first offensive move, he kills the expansion.*Cheering in the background*
A lot of action will happen soon, so lets take a break to view the current situation:
Rice and his mass infantry has so far work very well, he has steered clear from any attacks and has been mounting huge offenses on Grrrr lately, although none of it seemed to work, so far, storm has taken its toll of around 50 m&m's and he is running dry in his main, he is currently using the small "extra" mineral patches with 3000 mineral units.
Rabbit, has been under a lot of pressure, both from Grrrr, who again and again refuses to attack Rice, but go for the weaker zerg. And Rice, in the start, with a marine force, both attackers have taken their toll on his base and he is also running out of minerals.
Grrrr is in trouble, only via storm has he survived this far, he should have attacked Rice, instead of throwing his army at Rabbit, only to be charged by Rice when his forces are away. Grrrr still has some minerals at his main, but he is also forced to use the "extra" patches. He also retook Nazgul's old main.
Grrrr soon has a sizeable force, due to his 4 running gates, and once again, he decides to bring the pain to Rabbit, he slams into the zerg encampment and slices, dices and neatly packs everything in his way, Rabbit is forced to leave the game, GG to him. But wait, have we seen this before? while Grrrr is attacking, what usually happeens? Yeah u guessed it, Rice have 50+ infantry and 4 tanks, and he doesn't hesitate to use them, he takes the middle and repels Grrrr attacks from both Rabbit's old main and Grrrr's own main.
Rice takes the middle:
Grrrr now pumps from 5 gates, due to his extra income at Nazguls old main, he decides not just to sit and wait, so he attacks Rice's middle encampment. The zeals charge, and just seconds after, the all to familiar blue psi storm fills the air, killing marines like there's no tomorrow. While the battle in the middle rages, Rice drops 8 marines at Nazguls old main and kills Grrrr's expo there.
With Grrrr's last ground forces killed, he quickly pumps 3 carriers from his newly constructed stargates, but even his godly carriers micro can't save him now, Rice attacks and kills his base, claiming the win in this very bloody match. *GG*
AFTER GAME THOUGHTS:
phew, long one! My hands are cold from the writing and MS paint is so tired it looks like Brian Nielsen who just got beat up by Mike Tyson(actually its not funny at all, Brian comes from my home country, Denmark, and actually my real life name is also Brian...spooky huh?) For this report i decided to do my pics in collages, and with a white on black text theme, which i think is much cooler and better for your eyes ^^ Plz post CONSTRUCTIVE criticism in the comment ssection, and don't worry, i WON'T take 1st...*Dino Din and Ana clapping their hands*
