pre-message, keep in mind this was a lan game not a (b-net) with some of my close freinds.

On the burnt surface of auir i will defeat the enemy and forever change the destiny of my race with the final battles, the duels of fate. Well i was in the northwest sector commanding my drones to put up pylons and gateways to rise an army. iwas worried that this might not be good because i knew i was up against some (hardcore) players. i could already hear machigun chatter and i knew some early confrontation between +adam+ and rommel had begun. at first i was confused and worried (would they come for me-i had no army yes) i was despretly waiting for the gateways to construct. when they finally arrived i built a few zelots to scout out the terran around my base and perhaps locate the enemy. i knew adam was a deadly foe but rommel is a lot more cunning and would more than likly be the one to take me out. what a lonely job being that first troop for scouting detail. all alone in the warzone against numerous dangers. i had sent three on patrols to the southwest, southeast and northeast.the first(heading northeast) encountered nothing.*he was the lucky one*.the other who was heading south west was walking slowly and catiously toward his destination was swarmed by zergling who unborrowed all around him. i knew he was lost but he fought with honer. mark had been waiting to see witch direction my troops would come from.my zelot was overpowered and i watched the zerg reborrow as the fog of war resummed its posistion.the other ended up in the line of an oncoming terran patrol who was doing mop up work from an earlier encouter with some zerglings.medics all about.i turned him around and luckly they did not pursue. he was spared.
By this time my army was now of desent size (6 dragoon and 13 zelots).i knew i'd be able to fend off an attck from one or the other. me and +adam+ were talking about a peace treaty or a cease fire by this time so we could strengthen are forces. (this would later prove to be a blessing and curse).
My base was also gaining strengh with sevrel stratigicily placed cannons and pylons.(i like to have compact and organized bases-all three of us like to build MASSIVE defense systems.
The first of my stargates were appearing. we hadn't heard or seen any movment from mark ina while and we were getting worried. i still didnt have observers yet and had no way of knowing of that mad mans strength(rommel). He is know for raising armies as far as the eye can see.
little did i know he had already formed several pockets of borrowed zergling ready to pounce on any trrafic heading to or from the center of the battlefield.
I was busy building up more defense.(on average three lines of cannons on all sides of my base with more on the internal structure). when suddenly an assult force of some strengh was spotted on the move by one of +adams+ warths patrols.
he had yet to have clock technology and was shot down in a mass of acid from those cursed hydralisk(the attack unit of choice for rommel).
they direction was unconfirmed by +adam+ who did not have vision on with me but are peace pack was confirmed and he notified me of movement as i did for him.
I knew they were heading for me. it didnt look that bad but could become a problem if ignored. i guessed he was just gonna just probe my defenses witch proved to be right. thank the high templer i was right because my defenses werent up to a mass assult yet.i dispatched my small army and itercepted them.they were easliy tooken care of so i decided id go for it and probe his base.
when i approached those pockets of zerglings pounced!
My army was surrounded and overran. he was ready for a prolonged war. I WAS GONNA GIVE IT TO HIM!
+adam+ was also gaining strength. he already had a small airforce of wraths and a powerful blockade at his entrance of seige tanks and marines.
hi also had a small outpost going witch was gaining some strengh in defense. i did not want that base to grow any more but i was forced to let it be since i was under a peace pack.
i know had observers at this point and my defense was nearing completion. The cannon lines were formed.
all i had left on my base was a few advanced buildings to build then the rest of the space would be filled with more cannons for an optimal defense mechinisim.
my observers were forced to stay at the perimiter on rommels base. he had a formidably defense line also.i had also placed a few observers around adams base but i had to careful not to get to close because we were not allied we just had a peace packed so if i intrudded his base and he noticed it would be considered an act of war.i was just close enough to determine his out going traffic and there direction.
well a little more time went bye and i knew something big was about to happen.
i had pretty much cut off all ground units to consentrate on air power(witch is my specialty.
At this point i had only three carriers but a mass of corsairs which i imploy for my primary air defense and capital ship support.
Me and +adam+ were on edge. we knew rommel's tactics all to well, many times were we forced to knel before his pure power.
He is like hitler in a way.RUTHLESS! This is a man who has no concept of mercy.
Well me and adams hunch was right. he was on the move. several divisions of hydralisks and zerglings were moving toward the middle. they were supported by scorchlings for arieal defense. adam was worried they held there position in the middle for several moments they turned directins. THEY WERE HEADING FOR ME!
this was confirmed by my observers.adam did little to help me at first.he only sent a few clock wraths witch were quikly shot down even though they were clocked.(rommel is smart when it comes to clock and always escorts his attacks with overlords)
they came in force. several carriers were being built( ten in all ) he reached my first line of defense and imediatly blood was spillt.my templers were unleshing hell on his armies with psonic storm and my five carriers i had at the time relese there fighters.instantly his first wave of attackers were put down in a bloody mass.
the next was supported by ultralisks. these were a pain to kill because of there strength. my first line of turrets was broken or in flames. more templers joined the fight and soon lightning covered my entrance as more zerg scum sercame to the power of them.he backed off for a minute to allow defilers in to darkswarm my fleet.
this was bad and i though i was gone when another wave of ultralisks came in to break my final line of defense. most of templers were out of energy and my carriers werent finish yet.they just kept coming and my observers reported reinforcements arriving in the center.
Just then the words that have the power to releave you or scare you to insanity arrived across the screen..................................nuklier lunch detected...............+adam+ was nuking they mass of hydralisks that took up nearly the entire middle of the battlefeild.there were so many troops mark had no way to find the little red laser that spelled certain doom for must commaders.
rommel was forious as +adam+ laughed with an evil tone in his vice and a cigerate in his mouth.
the bomb fell and rommels forces were desimated.
Rommel was forced to fall back. most of his remaining forces were running around dumbfounded and a contingente of goliths shreded them to piles of $h**.
i was thankful and in debt. adam fell silent after that and broke off communications.
i was confused but not worried......yet.
i quickly rebuilt my defense lines and prepared for a counter attack,my newly arrived carriers were full of fightersc(about 14 carriers in all) and my corsair defense was ready to support(22 in all) they headed south9his base was in the south west corner) and the imperail march turned on in my mp3 player. i was on the move and there would be no one to stop me this TIME!
i incountered severeal scorchlings. my corsairs took them out and opened a path for the capital ships witch quickliy followed in i lost the elimente of surprise but i was determined.
Soon i reached his base fighters sprang from every coner of every carrier and my corsairs inflicted heavy damage on his mutalisks. but his defense was very strong.(four rows of spore coloneis allong all sides) hydralisks were coming to support him.
I broke through to his middle to see hell waiting. around 20 devourers were waiting. my corsairs move to intercept after deploying several disrupter webs to prevent those spore colonies for firing. the were mowed down shortly but he had half his devouers left witch moved in and them with there combined fire from the spores crippled my fleet i knew i wasnt gonna take the base but i was determined to severly criple it. Now he had an ever deepening hole in the north flank of his base. he was desprete but with scorchlings he was able to finsh off the rest of my fleet.
He was now deeply wounded witch would keep him occupied for a long time i was already rebuilding my fleet with the ten stargates i had.
+adam+ resumed communications with me after that, demanding to know the posistions of my air force units. i told him figureing i owed him at least that.but i was wrong. he allied with me and send around 18 wraths and a handful of valkeries for defense of my base while i waited for the arrival of my new carriers and corsairs.He hit me hard after about ten minutes of scouting my base. This is were that blessing turned to a curse.He went straight to my supply lines and nearly took out all my drones. It was a stratigic maneuver. my cannons and templers finished them off but that severly weaked my production capibilities.
It would take me a while to recover and it left me with a hatred for +adam+ that is now everlasting. A backstabe is what it is and now i would have to rely more on stratigy more than brute force to win.
+adam+ was now in control of the game. He is a master at the art of ground combat and not a bad fleet admiral etheir.His forces were massing in his base to move but this was more of a mental game. he would hit then run to let us know he was there.
He would soon get his for those few minutes he was in control.
When my supply lines were back inline and my defenses beefed up i began my reconstruction of my fleet. i also started a new outposted devoted to ground assult capibilities.It was a war man and you cant win a war by are(hitler tried it to england, america to vietnam.)
I started massing dark templers and dragoons to assit my now massive fleet(15 carriers, 23 corsairs, 5 scouts).
