Lifetime Rating for twisted-: 5.0000 |  | Well, I played this game a few... days... ago with my friend Tahrajj. We were looking for a few newbies because we wanted to hear what stupid things they would say =)
Unfortunately, we didn't get that...
Map: The Hunters (we thought it would attract more newbies)

Me: Protoss (Top Middle)
Tahrajj: Zerg (Bottom Middle)

Well, I started with the basic stuff, probes, pylon, gateway, etc. Suddenly, an overlord flew by coming from right of me. Well, there was one of them. I decided to start acting...
twisted-: woah, how did you get flying units so fast!?!
*pause*

Tahrajj was also Zerg, and if they found out, they would know that we were NOT newbies (since I would also see Tah's overlords and ask him instead).
Tahrajj and I waited for any sign of newbism. None.
[BuD]Zekk then scouted me with a zealot, and then Tahrajj did some acting of his own.
Tahrajj: ahh! a rusher!!
We got back on allied messages and talked, telling how great we both were =)
A few minutes later, we knew that they knew we weren't newbies, but we were toast, since we tried some wacky stuff in the beginning to make them believe we were. I decided to take the base left of me, so I made a pylon, then cannons. Suddenly, Tahrajj, with two sunkens and a few hydras, was attacked by both of them with lings and zealots. I was stunned by Tahrajj's suckiness, since I had to send reinforcements to help him (about 8 zealots). So Tahrajj was badly hurt, and all chances of winning were lost. To make it worst, right after I sent reinforcements, I was attacked by hydras/zealots/goons with only 2 complete cannons, 4 goons, and a few zealots. Bye bye expansion.
I attempted to send a probe to Tahrajj's base to make cannons, but it died. After fending off the hydra/zealot/goon attack, about a minute later, they attacked me again. I had no choice but to take back my zealots and defend myself, leaving Tahrajj vulnerable. I managed to save myself, but Tahrajj was toast. Zealots and a few hydras finished him off. I was alone. I built... or tried to build... massive amounts of zealots and goons, with 3 gateways pumping em out. I went to scout to see if I could take the left base, but found that there were lurkers there. I build some obs, but before they were done, they unleashed their fury. Their final attack.
Mutas were sent to my economy. There were two cannons defending there, but there are 12 mutas attacking. Hydras and zealots started to flow in in massive amounts. I managed to kill the mutas, but it was too much. We exchanged GG's, and the game was over.
Later, [BuD]Zekk asked me to join his clan. Right now, I'm still thinking about it =)
Lessons Learned:
- Don't do that ever again!
- NEVER have Tahrajj as your ally, he sucks =) |
