Prolauge:
"Split Down the Middle"

An intense storm over the planet Broxis stranded six groups of crash survivors across the expansive frozen sea that was the planet. Soon after crash landing, communication was opened between the survivors. The two Terran Commanders in the west quickly began talks of diplomacy, also including the southern Protoss Executor. The eastern Terran General and Protoss Templar joined together along with the Zerg Cerebrate in the south-west. Snow fell evenly across the battlefield, leaving a haze that was unable to be penetrated, playing tricks on the minds of the strooned troops. A dispute over a large mine in the center island of the sea started a war between the two opposing terran forces, bringing into it the allies of those involved. Such a trivial thing starting a war was not that uncommon in the long wars between the races, and there were many examples of this. The scary thing, even more so than the war, was the unnatural and unpredictable weather seemed to stand still. It seemed to be watching...

Pre-Game
"Crimson Fog"

Six seperate centers of commands were laid down, beginning to bring in the money needed to fight a war. Commander Inadequate of New Sydney lead his troops towards a infantry only army, seeking to defend itself quickly. The Pirate General NovaSquadron began construction on two massive factories, seeking to overpower his enemies with sheer mechanical force. Executor WolfPack went on the defensive right away, building up his forces of reavers and zealots. Templar Vladmir{KRT}, in control of the Protoss Metropolis Constaninople, built a quick expansion along with two warping infantry gateways and an Archive for the training of new Templar. The other Terran General, Specialist, practically mirrored the base of Nova, building double factories for speedy vultures and massive tanks. Cerebrate Etarenicni expanded his creep with a second oozing hatchery and a duo of tentacle-armed sunken colonies. Everyone was on the defensive, unable to see in the blizzard but always fearing attack from the white walls. Even though this was so, Etarenicni was surprised by a blitzkrieg attack from the Protoss Army and the Terran Tank Company. Flashing scarabs glowed eerily in the fog, intensified by the flashes as the shells from Arclite Cannons erupted. Soon after the attack began, the entire Zerg Brood was wiped clean, leaving nothing to rebuild. The decaying creep gave off the most god-awful smell, seeping into the ground and carried across the sea by the chilling wind. The ground around the spot where the Cerebrate's Hatchery stood was now nothing more than a crater, a blood-red crater. Even though the air was frighteningly cold, the blood lying in pools across the battlefield still evaporated, giving the mists a slight red color, crimson blood...

Mid-Game
"Uneven Equalibrium"

With one of their enemies dead, the TerraToss Alliance began an extensive mining operation, seeking to outproduce and overpower their enemies. Seeing the disadvantage, Templar Vladmir{KRT} began construction of a third expansion as well as a third gateway for production of zealots, templar, dark templar, and dark archons. Covert Ops. Commander Specialist started a second expansion and construction twin nuclear facilities, seeking to create a nuclear fallout across his enemies' entire bases. Ghosts and Wraiths followed this, needed protection for the other nuking ghosts. The first attack on the remaining ProZerran CoOp. Executor WolfPack dropped a pair of reavers on the expansion of Specialist, backed up with a pair of templar. Seeing this, Templar Vladmir{KRT} sent a shuttle full of zealots, followed by duo of dark templar and psi-storm wielding High Templar. Upon reaching their destination, the protoss troops were met by the Arclite Siege Guns and Gauss Rifle fire. Turning their attention, the zealots charged headlong into the terran line, ripping apart the frail bodies with their psi-blades. The tanks fired their massive siege guns but the shells did more to kill the marines than it did to the zealots. Shortly after the marines were reduced to a bloody mass on the white backdrop, the zealots turned their hand blades upon the metal tank hulls. The reavers and templar inside the perimeter of Specialist's base were systematically, destroying the base from the inside. Seeking to take advantage of this, Vladmir{KRT} shuttled over two dark archons, seeking to turn control of the protoss reavers from Executor WolfPack. Dropping on the outskirts of the base, the twin Dark Archons turned influence from the reavers controllers, giving Vladmir{KRT} two new reaver artillery cannons. These new additions quickly paid their worth by causing the defending templar to shatter into a million pieces with two explosive scarabs. Shortly after the death of the magical Auir Priests, a dozen angry and gun-toting marines marched up the ramps, firing upon the metallic exoskeleton with uranium depleted shells. Two additional scarabs and a well-placed psi-storm finished the uprising, splattering marine helmets and other assorted parts hundreds of feet from each other.

Thinking the base defended, Templar Vladmir dismissed the remaining zealots to get healed by medics en route, with the caterpillar reavers and shadowy dark templar to Commander Inadequate's base. The small force dropped on the right of the heavily traveled mine, immediately causing a panic as the explosions were heard across the Terran Encampment. One cowardly SCV tried to run from the invading troops, but as it ran, it was followed by a glowing ball of kinetic energy. Thinking it had gotten away, the SCV made a very wrong move. It was stuck in a dead end, but that didn't even really matter. Before the miner could even turn around, it was catapulted into the air. The stray SCV did more damage than just its life. In line with the SCV in flight was an incoming wraith. The fighter pilot was very surprised as the small mechanical man smashed into the cockpit, bringing the wraith careening to the frozen ground. Cheers erupted as the helpless plane exploded in a massive fireball, followed by choking plumes of jet-black smoke. The initial shock fading, an organized defense was organized, and eventually overran the small drop force. This was a victory for the ProZerran CoOp, albeit a small one. This counter drop on the part of Templar Vladmir{KRT} proved that him and his Terran ally were still in the war, fighting until the bitter end. Yet this was not something that made the sides even, although both sides seemed to have about the same income coming from their many bases. Three minds are better than two, just as two are better than one. It was an unequal equal…

Late-Game
"The Fall of Constaninople"

All hell broke loose as the tempo sped up into the climax, a massive war over the sprawling metropolis that is Constaninople. The first provocation was initiated by the Terran Ghost from the Terran City New Korhal, under the command of the Pirate General NovaSquadron, seeking to shatter the defenses with a well-placed Neutron Bomb. Quickly noticing the predicament he was in, Templar Vladmir immediately ordered one of his Dark Archons to use it's psionic suggestion to turn the highly trained Special Forces Infantryman to the protoss side. Just as the nuke was on its descent towards impact, the nuking Ghost shattered the signal, neutralizing the devestating device. One of the visiting SCV's from Specialist's base took a snap shot of the smiling Dark Archon and Ghost. This avoided, Constaninople was able to have one final breath before the massive follow-up attack from the combined TerraToss Alliance. A quartet of anti-gravity shuttles tore through the cold wind, landing its troops on the northwest outskirts of the city, near the depleted mines, abandoned long before by working probe-mining vehicles. The Pirate General began a siege on the southern edge of Constaninople, shelling Arclite Shock Artillery shattering windows in the massive, looming temples and cratering the many hovering diamond-shaped pylon warping buildings. Commander Inadequate ordered long lines of battle-ready infantry into the collapsing city, engaging Constaninople's defenders in a ferocious building-to-building war, usually in hand-to-hand combat, in which the defenders seemed the have the upper hand. One group of wary marines marched uneasily down a boardwalk, waiting for an attack to hit them. They didn't know that it was already close. The Terrans' hearts jumped as a speedy zealot drew the dozen marines into a dead end. Turning around as it came to to the wall, the zealot dropped a vial full of a glowing substance. With a signal flash, a deadly psionic storm erupted over the engaging marines, ripping apart the warriors' minds from the inside. Seconds later, twelve still bodies were left for the carrion-eating Ursadons. Even though the defenders fought valiantly, the combined forces brought swift and brutal vengeance on the inhabitants of Constaninople. The once mighty and bustling city was now nothing but a massive crater, a reminder of what was and how fast things changed.

The tides of war turned with the fall of the ProZerran Capital City, and the subsequent crumbling of the CoOp, but it didn't go without a fight. Specialist's force of Covert Ops. Ghosts began systematically nuking every single base of his most hated enemy, Commander Inadequate. In one such nuking run, a barrage of four T-Class Doomsday nuclear devices created a mushroom cloud over New Sydney large enough that it could be seen hundreds of miles from ground zero. In that one offensive, everything for a thirty mile radius around the focal point was reduced to microscopic ash, creating an ashen globe that blocked the sun from the area, dropping the cold temperatures into the absolute temperatures, freezing everything, even the very air it seemed. Not letting this deter them, the TerraToss Alliance kept hitting the ProZerran bases and destroying them with rather high casualties, usually from friendly fire drawn towards the three forces by "mediator" zealots. In one final push, Templar Vladmir{KRT} sent his newly aquired force of thirty-six zealots on a rampage, killing two expansions and finishing the newly rebuilt city New Sydney before the TerraToss defenders silenced the rampaging warriors. The clean-up had begun, the extermination was not proceeding without stop…

Finale
"Absolute Zero"

With the fall of the last nexus impending, Templar Vladmir{KRT} planned to die fighting. Just as the stunning, massive TerraToss forces climbed over the last mountain before the outpost holding the ProZerran Commander, a massive storm hit the area, blanketing everything within minutes. Hours later, after it cleared, where the small Protoss Encampment once stood, was now blocked by a practically tangible wall of blowing snow. Two groups of gargantuan Battle Cruiser Capital Ships tried to break through the jets of ice and snow, but each fell to the earth as the unbelievably cold that was came from the blizzard literally encased the ships in a block of thick ice. Over the coming years, as the TerraToss Alliance tried to break through and finally end the war, more and more martyrs for a long cause littered the frozen, still blizzard landscape. The only survivors that ever ventured back were driven to an incurable madness by what they had gone through in what was being called the White Death. They came back blind and deaf, completely incoherent and nonsensical. All they did for the rest of their short lives was whisper to themselves, "So cold, so cold. Its so cold…"No matter how hot it seemed to be.

The rest of the stranded occupants upon the world of Braxis were wiped out close to five years after the Battle of Constaninople, unable to escape the planet due to the massive storms that constantly raged above the wold. Minimal sunlight for the little tundra plants were unable to sustain the Terran or Protoss inhabitants, with the only creature capable of self-sustaining being the Ursadon, looking like a cross between a polar bear and a koala bear. The TerraToss Alliance tried to live of the meat from the native creatures, but the poisons in the blood killed anyone who ingested it. Without any way of support, everything the TerraToss had worked for had collapsed.

Everything left by the wars and proceeding famine was covered by the snow, the endless snow. The mysteries of Braxis are never to be solved, seeing as those who fall to its surface never ascend to its heavens. What is held behind the blizzard wall, the White Death? I guess, no one will ever know…

The End...Or Is It...

Author's Notes:
Dear Reader,

I am looking for your opinions upon the ending, and what could have been the White Death. You may also give me suggestions on another ending that I could have given it. Hoped you enjoyed this,

Vladmir{KRT}
