Map: The Hunter's

So I was out looking for a fight and another chance to make an awesome battle report. Since I got some mixed feelings from my first Battle Report I figured it wouldn't be hard to get back into step and start freshening up on some typing skills and do a bit of a spell check here and there to make sure everything would work perfectly. Well anyway getting back on track I entered a game and the guy was trying to get up a 2v2 Hunter's Game. No one was coming and the guy suggested that we play a 1v1. I figured heck why not because I wasn't getting anywhere with almost every game I went into either disconnecting, someone leaving early, or a guy getting really pissed off and banned me for my lack of maturity in an average game room.

Listen kiddies, don't rush, *ever* always anti rush.

So the game starts off. I start out in the Bottom Right of map playing as Zerg. I also got my least favorite color Purple. I quickly begin by gathering minerals and building a Spawning Pool. Soon after comes an Overlord and a Creep Colony to defend my base. I always build up to 12 Drones to collect minerals and then build more later to gather minerals. I go for 2 more Hatcheries after the Creep Colony and make a few Zerglings to go searching my enemy which at this point I have had spend no time trying to look for this guy. I do so successfully and manage to crawl into the guys base just to a interesting glimpse.

Now I know where my opponent is this will be a much easier battle

Soon after my opponent is starting to have problems with someone calling him so I await for his return as I turn on Winamp again listening to My Way by Limp Bizkit. Game commences back and my opponent at this point has 7 Zealots guarding his base with no cannon's what so ever which gives me an upon opertunitity to start building lurkers. But I don't do that until later. BloodBoi begins his own scouting mission as soon as I notice some of his Zealots spreading out. I bring a few Zerglings to make an evasive attack on that squanders that run rapid around the map I hope to conquer with some success shortly.

BloodBoi makes some really impressive moves in the game like countering my attempt's to getting into his base however while he is having problem fending off attacks I am making as many Zerglings as I can to fend off these attacks. Soon we both settle down and I begin to make an expansion with several packs of Zerglings to help get the expansion get started. After my expansion is complete I noticed that I hadn't check BloodBoi's base in a while and he might just be getting somewhere in the tech tree. I sent a bunch of Zerglings to his base to see what's up. BloodBoi then got to show off his difference and shredded most of my units.

Could you imagine the large gasp I felt after this?

So in retaliation I decided on going full Hydralisks and making a second expansion. I didn't set up any perimeter of defense but I wasn't exactly worried about this guy knowing about it. Having this expansion would give me a good enough lead into making more units quicker, faster, and with plenty of resources to come around.

After the game progresses a little more I survive a few more heavy hits of mass units as I continue to make plenty of HydraLisks to fend off and attack. One of which took out my primary defense for the First Expansion in the game. I was able to survive this relentless attacks. I continue pumping out more Hydralisk's until have a large enough army. I begin my assault on his base with a mixture of Hydralisk's and Zerglings.

Doesn't seem like anything is working!!!

After my last attack wasn't exactly all that I expected it to be I started joining packs in the middle to big'n for the slaughter that awaited them within the passing of time. Redundant that I have made no effort to see if BloodBoi had made any expansion type, I went out and looked for myself. I didn't find anything noticeable but I did realize that BloodBoi had stopped making Zealots. So with my army I had build up in the middle I sent them to fight off the enemy around his defense. I crush his current defense and manage to get into his base. Unfortunately he quickly send units to attack my large amount of Zerglings and crushes them within seconds. I took out about 1/5 of his base which makes it more then worth the attack. Soon after my expansion is attacked in retaliation for the scale attack that I just made on him.

Soon after the expansion attack is taking care of and I'm starting to make a whole lot more Hydralisks. I begin to move them up to the section of bridge that binds his base to the center where he has taken the opertunitity to send a few Dragoons to guard. This soon becomes Banta fodder, as I attack him with my already several upgraded Hydralisks now at 2/2. After the attack finishes I got the idea of starting to build in the middle. There are a lot of reasons for this. One there are two Vespene Geysers I can just get plus a few more Minerals which I could really use. I end up making 3 Hatcheries in the middle which adds up for 8 Hatcheries throughout the map. I also make a Spire to go along with the new expansion.

I then quickly make a large station next to his base over the connecting bridge, and continue to make mass units. This quickly caves in though as I am attack by a large mass of Zealots on BloodBoi's part. I quickly begin to make Mutalisks to take on his short scale attack of Dragoons following the attack. I continue to pump out Mutalisks like a madman and know if I don't my base will be destroyed. And what a time too because at this point, I am listening to SNL - Celebrity Jeopardy with Robin William's making me laugh like an idiot.

The attack continue as we continue to fight it out with Dragoons vs. Mutalisks, and I continue to make swarms of them. I eventually can't fight off the Dragoon attack's so I go back to make Hydralisks. I break into his base and take out his expansion. He can no longer fight off any of my attack and then gives up. Surprisingly he leaves the game instead of just allaying with me, so I picked up a win to a really awesome game.
