Little-Lost-SCV - chosen Terran

LLSCV's starting base

HT started with a standard TvT build, walling in and then probably planning to go Wraiths. LLSCV, though, decided to be more unique and started out with a supply, refinery, and then an offensive gas on his enemy.

HT seemed to think this will slow down his tech build so he started constructing a second Barracks to train Marines and overwhelm his opponent early on. After quite a bit, LLSCV finally decided to start on a Barracks on his ramp, but unfortunately for him HT's SCV owned his builder.

By scouting, LLSCV learned about the MM attack which HT had just sent and had time to prepare more defenses than he even needed. HT, seeing that his attempts were in vain, decided to build a Bunker near the enemies encampment in attempt to contain him.

LLSCV decided that the best way to win now was by starving his opponent. He installed a serious turbo newbie on top of HT's natural which hadn't yet been mined. Next, LLSCV harassed his opponent a bit. He attacked the center with some Tanks and Wraiths and also dropped HT's main with 4 Tanks, managing to damage some SCVs and the CC.

After HT stopped this with the only thing he had, infantry, LLSCV completely surrounded HT's main by placing some Tanks and Turrets below the northern cliff.. This, the turbo newbie and LLSCV's main almost completely surrounded HT's base, excluding the path to the middle. This little mattered considering LLSCV had control of the center and most of the rest of the map. The only area he didn't control was the 3 o'clock main where HT started an unnoticed expansion.

Soon, some Wraiths found this as well and LLSCV wasted little time assembling a force of Goliaths and Tanks to stop the expansion attempt.. HT saw he had lost and decided to give up by making up another one of his gay excuses and then leaving without saying gg.

The game started out with both players choosing Terran. Little-Lost-SCV spawned in the 9 o'clock spot, while .High+Templar. took the 6 o'clock start.

The next steps for HT were starting an academy and training a handful of Marines. During this, LLSCV didn't just sit there, though, he started a Factory to train Vultures, which are excellent infantry killers.

HT also scanned his opponent's main base and discovered that LLSCV was preparing a Vulture drop. Unfortunately, this was too late and the in less than 20 seconds the Vultures were being unloaded close to HT's mineral line. They even had Mines to stop the infantry that was sent as reinforcements. Not a very adequate counter but that was the only thing HT had at the moment. HT managed to stop this drop with immense losses. All his SCVs but one were missing in action and on top of that, his current units were nowhere near a counter to what LLSCV had. Only a miracle could make him victorious now.
