Game between DK~twinrova, Terran in the bottom left corner and deadnewb, Protoss in the top right corner. Map is Rivalry.
As the game starts out I (DK~twinrova) builds 2 barracks. After getting 8 marines I put up 2 bunkers at my choke and soon after have a tank bahind. While my starport is being built, I get a comsat station and scan the top left. I see an expansion with a nexus, four probes and a pylon, so I proceed to send a wriath up there.
Meanwhile, deadnewb has 3 gateways and starts accumulating dragoons. When he gets about 12 he scouts around, finding my base on the second try. Without me knowing, he builds a pylon and shied battery in my natural expansion and starts pumping dragoons down there. He watches a wraith trying to get out and it is easily destroyed.
At this time I start putting more tanks in for defense and I manage to get 2 wraiths around the dragoons. I send them up to the expansion and start destroying it. By the time I got there, there were 2 pylons and deadnewb manages to get 3 photon cannons built before my wraiths can destroy the plyon and I am forced to retreat.
While this was happeneing, deadnewb gets another expansion at bottom right and he starts getting observer tech. He sends all his dragoons in but they fail due to my ramp advantage.
By now I am out of minerals. I empty the bunkers and build 2 new ones at 2 of the entrances. I also put up siege tanks and a command center and I move my SCVs down. I then make turrets and expansion at middle left.
Deadnewb sends in mass dragoons and trashes my natural. While they are killing all the buildings I manage to lift my command center and fly it to bottom middle without deadnewb knowing.
Deadnewb congratulates me on a good game and starts looking for the "last" expansion. As he is destroying my base at middle left he gives me shared vision to show me what he did. He finishes it off and I laugh at his ignorance.
I took him a couple minutes to find me despite 4 carriers, 13 observer and 20 dragoons, but by the time he does I have 3 barrax and 12 marines. He crashes the party and when he's finishing the supply depots I fly a barracks out. I also get an SCV out under his nose and build a Command Center at 3 o clock.
He says gg and I again laugh at his ignorance. The barracks landed at the left edge of the bottom right expansion. While he is searching for that he forgets to turn off vision. I build a barracks from the middle right position and fly it out. I decide to land it just above the ramp at bottom left. An obvious place. He would never look there.
A searching observer finally finds it and 4 carriers come down to wipe it out of existence. As they are leaving they narrowly miss finding my bbaracks-on-the-ramp but they do find the 3:00 expansion and kill that.
Deadnewb frustratingly searches the map. When i got 3 full bunkers I noticed that the bottom left expansion was defended by 3 photon cannons supported by a damaged pylon. I took a risk by sending 12 marines. In seconds they were pools of blood.
This obviously gave away my location. When the dragoons came in, I had only one marine. I did manage to bail my barracks out. This time deadnewb was smart enought to track with an observer. I finally lost my last building and said gg for the last time.
