The Intro
Hello and welcome to yet another LuckyNewbie:P report, you know what this means? Another 1v1 on Lost Temple! Go me! Although, because of popular demand that the Temple is too overplayed, im going to simply make it a 2v2 and put in good players so you will forget its on Lost Temple, or something.
Alright, I had promised myself I'd report a gosu 2v2 with lots of good players. Things were wierd in ~NoHunters. Everyone seemed to hate everyone, possibly because they weren't afk. I forgot what it all was about, but it was agreed that somehow saying "1v1 ME YOU NeWbl0r" would settle everything. In one of the most confusing acts in ~Nohunters history, Wangsonn, caught up in the moment, challenged himself (and lost). However, I was to br a 2v2, and 2v2 report I would.
It started with Drefsab and T_Mac owning Krebster and MageCathy, then T_Mac and Whoop owning them again. For a while nothing, happened, until Oddity, Astic, T_Mac and Whoop were all in the channel and i begged them to play. After a while, Mac made, but Oddity had to do with a different partner, who is on a smurfing name, but I forgot who he was really, so he will henceforth be known as ~Fenix~Ts.
And now...
To keep you busy and to keep you running full force into a dangerous unloaded report that could result in serious injury, I have decided to bring you 5 top quotes from ~nohunters, King-Lewis style. I'll just remain here and ponder the meaning of life, casting my eyes into the great blue infinite and reading The Iliad in original Ionian dialect (Editors note: This is a yard of bulls**t, he went to the kitchen and ate an entire container of cream cheese)
The Setting
The Map: The Lost Temple
The Players: T_Mac & Numeric_Suck (Whoop) Versus Oddity & ~Fenix~TS~
T_Mac and Whoop make up Team Mac. Whoop, under the name Numeric__Suck for unknown reasons, lands with Terrans on the 12. His partner, T_Mac lands on the 9 with his mighty Terrans as well. T_Mac gets three barracks, one after another, before an academy. Whoop goes for some fast metal, later coming back to not forget those precious marines.
Oddity and ~Fenix~TS~ make up Team Oddity. Oddity has randomed and gotten his Protoss on the 3, his partner ~Fenix~TS~ getting Zerg at the six. Oddity puts down 2 gateways asap, and ~Fenix~TS~ risks an early hatchery at his choke, and plans to go mutalisks, as his partner agrees to get reavers.
It's really amazing for the average newbie (like me) to watch these super macro guys get troops in no time.
T_Mac's build order lets him mass marines in no time, forming a large army quickly (who needs medics anyhow?). Oddity puts down a cybernetics core and gas for those reavers rather than get a third gate, but does an amazing job of massing about half a countrol group of Zealots and Dragoons. T_Mac's sidekick uses a fast tank build that leaves him armyless, requiring a pair of barracks later on. As for ~Fenix~TS~, he seems content to build more drones and get two extractors running.
First blood
After pre-game scouting and building, T_Mac is the first to march out, with around a dozen marines with 3 scvs, announcing he is going to "pay the zerg a visit". ~Fenix~TS~'s scout outside the base for just this purpose spotted the force, and 3 sunkens are hastily built to accompany the zerglings (in small number for need of money on a lair and third hatchery). The marines take one look at this defence, and upon soiling their undergarmets, show their heals and run away. Luckily, Whoop thought of just this, and his tank is already on the way, T_Mac bunkering up. Oddity realizes this and moves in with zealots and dragoons from the north, ~Fenix~TS~ from the south with zerglings; the attack is quickly annihilated.
With the threat out of the way, ~Fenix~TS~ places down his spire, only to be scanned seconds later by T_Mac, and turrets are erected over Team Mac's SCVs. Team Mac begins to crank out another army as well, and T_Mac gets a factory. Oddity has also placed down his robo bay and support, getting his planned reavers.
 However, Oddity has no time to rest when an attack from Whoop, the tank man himself. It isn't a very impressive attack, about 6 marines, a pair of tank and a medic duo. Troops from Team Oddity are called back to Oddity's natural to quell the attack (Oddity's reaver shuttle can be seen as well), where they meet up.
~Fenix~TS~: purple or yellow?
Oddity: yellow.
Counterstrike
Team Oddity comes to the realization that T_Mac is evil, and agree to attack him first. Oddity's 'reaverinashuttle' beats the Zergling, Zealot and Dragoon mix to the scene, and T_Mac is forced to bring all 24 stimmed marines and two overworked medics, chasing it off. However, T_Mac's choke is defended by a single turret, and zerglings stream on in without any resistance. Unfortunatly, ONLY zerglings make it up before the marines return, and reclaim the ramp before any dragoons or zealots can get hold on the high ground. Oddity forgot about his reaver too, and didn't bring it back while the marines chased off the dragoons. Instead, the shuttle drops it off behind the marines after the dragoons have been dealt with. T_Mac micros brilliantly, sending a marine directly in front of the reaver to "bite the bullet" of the scarabs deadly splash, and takes the slug down with only one loss, the shuttle vanishing soon thereafter
Successfully clearing Team Oddity's troops with barely any loses, Team Mac goes back on the offensive. Whoop, cursing Oddity's mineral only where his troops -with the combined coprehensive ability of a thumb tack- got caught up in, launches an attack on Oddity, trying to stall his opponent more than anything else. ~Fenix~TS~ gets to be the prime target, as 2 control groups of medarines from T_Mac charge on his undefended natural, ripping apart the 2 sunken colony defenders.
Death, mayhem, and a little bit of destruction
Hell breaks lose on the map, and every unit by every unit capable of killing anything larger than a wristwatch is called into action. Oddity launches out of his base with his goon/zeal army, but is stalled by the notorious Whoop. ~Fenix~TS~, with his base under attack, throws his mutalisks on a vengence mission, ferociously attacking a machine shop in T_Mac's base and retreating before they kill it. Oddity sends more help to his ally, but Whoop sends more stalling forces to stall him. A few of Whoop's tanks are set up but quickly blown to pieces. ~Fenix~TS~, still trying desperatly to save his dying expansion, takes his mutalisks, along with natural drones, and sends them to engage the marines.
Just as ~Fenix~TS~'s hatchery falls, Oddity finishes with Whoop and brings the hammer down on T_Mac's forces. Whoop, having produced this entire time, makes a counter and besieges Oddity with another M/M/Tank force. Oddity micros his troops and with reinforcements, a new shuttle/reaver combo, and 4 ~Fenix~TS~ mutalisks, extinguishes the counter and ends the battle. I was thinking of placing a huge ass picture of all of this, but no collage can do it justice:

 Their attack successful, Team Mac expands to take advantage of the recession. Whoop simply runs his scv down and makes it there, while T_Mac takes the safe (and slightly longer) way of floating it over. Team Oddity knows that they are pretty screwed right now. Oddity has expanded to his natural when Whoop stalled him, and ~Fenix~TS~'s expo has to be rebuilt. Taking the mutalisks he has, he makes a hit and run on the just completed Whoop expansion and forces an scv to cancel a turret before the marines come and the mutalisks run for their blind little lives. With the marines comes the dozen maynarded scvs, and the expansion is fully operational.
Whoop is ready to go on the offensive again and brings a dozen or so marines with medics, as well as a pair of tanks. ~Fenix~TS~'s dozen or so mutalisks make their strike, this time on Whoop's main from the south. The crowded scvs make easy targets for the mutalisks, and a good number are killed before about 8 marines, stimmed to the point their poor little fingers are stuck to the triggers, assist the sole turret in spanking the marines away. The offensive Whoop launched on Oddity, on the other hand, was torn apart by zealots and goons faster than you can throw away your third class mail. ~Fenix~TS~'s mutalisks failed to damage Whoop's economy, as about 15 scvs are still over every patch, drowning out all daylight under the mineral line.
A minor detail
~Fenix~TS~ makes another raid on Whoop, retaliation for Whoop sieging the protoss base from his choke. His mutalisks do considerable damage, ripping down buildings and shooting the few vessels Whoop owns. An attack is planned on Whoop, and Oddity rally's his troops outside. However, ~Fenix~TS~ was microing so hard that he forgot just one minor detail...
How, you ask, did 6 marines of T_Mac take out ~Fenix~TS~'s entire base? Well, the mutalisks were simply too caught up in the moment that Oddity, ~Fenix~TS~, Whoop, all the observers (myself included), and quite possibly T_Mac himself had no clue about it until ~Fenix~TS~ anounced it himself:

Team Mac now rolls on the offensive; T_Mac rolls out with around 5 trillion marines with +2 attack and +1 armor, accompanied with vessels, tanks, medics and the like.  Whoop attacks Oddity, his attack being just about as successful as Krebster's attempt to say something remotely positive about Casper ("If you took a shower, you might smell good"), and the attack is chewed up.
T_Mac's offensive is infintely times more successful, the reason being here that if 6 marines took out ~Fenix~TS~'s main, 5,000,000,000,000 should take out the rest perfectly.
Editors Note: Overkill is not in T_Mac's vocabulary.
~Fenix~TS~ is shortly overrun, managing to get a drone to the 3 o'clock natural, before Whoop overruns it with a dozen marines. Oddity tries to counter T_Mac, but just can't pull it off and has to deal with matters at home. Whoop has dug in and slowly inches towards Oddity's base, just as ~Fenix~TS~ says his farewell:
Soon, T_Mac brings in the marines and the smackdown is layed down on Oddity as well.

Because I fear the wrath of all contestants (I could find poisonous snakes in my sock drawer from one of these guys paying me a visit). GG to all contestants. They all played extremely well, and this 2v2 report, if short, if on lost temple, if it included the master of gayness, if it lacked a lesbian... story, was one of the best games I've watched, I hope you enjoyed it too. All players played fantastic... except ~Fenix~TS~ for losing his main like that ^^... haha! just kidding, I dont even have a sock drawer!
