The game started out with both players cloning their peons for maximum efficiency. JuBBle went with a heavy metal build, which consisted of a Supply Depot followed by a Barracks, Refinery, and another Supply Depot to complete the wall-in. Eventually he followed up with dual Factories. FearFactory did the standard Protoss goon rush; Pylon, Gate, Pylon, Gas, Cybernetics Core, and finally a second Gateway.

FearFactory launched the first offensive whedamn straightn his scouting probe began to beat down upon a poor, helpless Supply Depot. The first of his dragoons soon arrived and began to assault the Terran ramp. SCVs were sent to repair the crucial Depot until JuBBle's first tank arrived on the scene, which proceeded to drive the enemy back to JuBBle's natural.

A period of silence came over the battlefield as the players began to tech. JuBBle added a Starport and Engineering Bay to his base, and constructed a dropship which was loaded up with 4 vultures. FearFactory warped in a Forge, started a Nexus at his natural, and a Robotics Facility.

yea that's right, run ya pussy!JuBBle's dropship is sent towards the Protoss base hoping to weaken it's economy, but a Photon Cannon is created just in time to make the Terran commander think twice. JuBBle brings the cargo back home and starts the construction of a Command Center, Science Facility, and a 3rd Barracks in his main. FearFactory drops a probe on top of his cliff in order to protect against a turbo newbie. He also gets an Observatory and starts another Nexus, this time at 3.

Boom boom boom, I blue up yuor goon.Conflict erupts as JuBBle lands his new Command Center at his natural. Tanks siege up and dragoons begin to fire as a group of 6 goons assault the new expansion. Vultures lay mines in front of the dragoons which stall them as the tanks finish them off. Looking for some revenge, JuBBle sends his ever-so-popular dropship with 4 vultures to the budding Protoss expansion at 3. The group of vultures first proceed to mine the ramp leading into the base, then attack the still-warping Nexus. FearFactory quickly moves into action, and puts down 3 Cannons while sending an observer and a handful of goons to clean up. Things are looking grim for the Protoss executor as the vultures are out of range of the Photon Cannons and reinforcements had still not arrived. The Nexus gets down to around 200 hit points until the dragoons can finally get past the minefield and destroy them.

.Deja Vu!

Even although 3 was saved, JuBBle had other plans for his enemy. After beginning the construction of another Barracks, he sends a sizable force of mixed marines, vultures, tanks, and scattered science vessels to see what damage can be done. FearFactory had similar plans, also, and had sent another handful of dragoons and zealots to attack after beginning to warp in yet another Nexus at the 3 mineral only.

The forces met in the middle of the temple, and the battle began. JuBBle, using his science vessels to his advantage, casts defensive matrix on a few of his tanks, and with his superior numbers won the battle. He continued to push on towards the Protoss base, causing FearFactory to cancel his warping Nexus at the 3 mineral only and set up a defense. The battle that erupted was close, and JuBBle really looked like he would be able to win it there, but FearFactory had teched to templars by this time and managed to just barely hold off the attack with a mix of dark templars, dragoons, and some psionic storm.

cool text, huh

While all this was going on, JuBBle had started a Command Center at the 9 natural, shortly followed by another at the mineral only. These were soon found by FearFactory, however, and sent a group of mixed templars, zealots, and dragoons to handle the situation. JuBBle saw the attack coming and sent a force of tanks, vultures, and science vessels to defend, but the Protoss army was simply too strong. He lifted off his Command Center at the natural and ran the remaining SCVs to a remote corner of the 9 main, hoping that he would able to recommence mining operations once the threat had left.

FearFactory knew that he had forced JuBBle into a defensive mode, and set a warp anchor down for a new Nexus at the 3 natural. He also put down 2 Stargates and a Fleet Beacon in the 3 main, obviously aiming for carriers. An additional 2 Gateways were also added at his main. It is important to note that FearFactory's upgrades are at 1/0/1 while JuBBle had just started the construction of two Armories.

Now that's just gay.

Another short silence throughout the battlefield as JuBBle attempted to rebuild his fallen army, as FearFactory added to his own. The final battle was soon fought at JuBBle's main, and as FearFactory began his way up the Terran ramp using only ground troops, JuBBle conceded.

arrr, i've got scurvy!

All in all, this was a well fought battle by both players. At certain points in the game I was sure that JuBBle was going to win, but FearFactory just kept holding on. It just goes to show that expansions either win or lose the game. If FearFactory had lost the 3 main to vultures, or if JuBBle had held onto 9, the game would have been much different. Thanks to both players for an excellent battle.
