I didn't mean that so I once again, I'm sorry all and especially to Punisher and Mr.X! When I write a new report (that means RIGHT NOW) I'll think twice before I type something.

Where: Winter conquest
When: Friday, November 17
I met Sh@peshifter in the "brood war games" channel and he wanted to play a game, so I said yes. He chose the map and it was Winter Conquest, a very nice map. Because I wanted to train with the Zerg, I chose them while Sh@peshifter got Random and the fait gave him Terran. I started with my Brood top left while my enemy command his Squad at the central bottom.
Because I never play with Zerg, I didn't rush so I could learn to control which units can fight well together. I built a Spawning Pool, 2 Evolution Chambers and a new Hatchery at the entrance so I could build Sunkens and Spores there. I scouted with my Overlord and saw that he had 3 Barracks and an Academy. He could kill my Overlord before I could get him to safety but I saw at the last moment that he sent a force Marines, Medics and Firebats to my base. I almost didn't got any defences (only 3 Sunken Colonies and 6 Zerglings). But he didn't regroup before he attacked so I could kill him easily.
The next 15 minutes we were just building and climbing the tech tree. Some skirmishes erupted at the centre of the map. I expanded to the central top position and scouted with a pair of Zerglings. I saw him building a Command Centre at the bottom right and I killed of the SCV that was building it. One Zergling stayed there burrowed and the other I sent to his main base. He had a wall of Supply Depots and a Barracks that he used as a "door".
The next big attack came from him, when he sent Siege tanks and Goliaths to my main base. He destroyed my first defence line, but when he came on the ridge, he was killed of by my Lurkers (the fool was so stupid that he didn't build a Comsat Station). I rebuilt fast and I was building a huge air force.
My Zergling at the bottom right saw that he tried to expand there again and when I tried to attack his 3 SCV's there, it was my Zergling that was killed. Again, some skirmishes erupted and he tried to drop Marines at my expansion. The drop failed because I defended it well with Spores, Sunkens and Lurkers.
I was finally prepared to attack. I had 24 Guardians, 12 Mutalisks, 12 Devourers and about 24 Scourges. I created a diversion at his expansion in the bottom right with 12 Hydralisks and strange enough, I could kill the expansion with them. What I expected was that he sent some troops to his expansion, but he was smart enough to know that I was going to attack.
I split up my air force in 2 Wings and used a classic attack and attacked from the right and the left of his base. Strange enough, he didn't had any Turrets there. Instead he defended with Goliaths, Valkyries and some Battlecruisers. He thought he had a very good defence with Battlecruisers, but I proved that is was not when I used my Devourers and Scourges on them (hehe).
He surrendered when I broke trough with my remaining Hydralisks and a few Zerglings. I figured out Zerg wasn't that hard to play...
Well, this was my second battle report and I hope I get more positive than negative reactions this time and I apologize again for my racist remark. C ya all! |
