Hey all, this is my second battlereport.. so go easy on me raters.. I
did write a first one except it was erased because I posted it 4 times :D... Sorrry Mark =[... Anyway..I just wanted to
give all you battlereport writers props, cause finding a worthy game is a tough task..
As I was sitting the Clan ~Nohunters one day. I asked the channel if they would like to participate in a 1v1
game in which I would BR... I had 2 takers.... MicsKill and KazTheFirebat. We made the game, Micskill(now
known as Mics) picked zerg, while KazTheFireBat( Now known as Kaz) randomed.
The map was Lost Temple, Mics oozed in at the 6aclock position, and Kaz flew in at the 9 aclock postition.
Mics went an early pool at 9 control and expanded at his natural when he had enough money, when his pool and
hatchery in his expansion were complete, he then created 6 zerglings for early protection for his expansion at his
natural.. During this time... Kaz went supply depot at choke and 1 barracks at choke, after those were nearly
completed he went for gas (Most liikely early tanks or sci vs his zerg opposition). Mics then went gas and rushed
with the 6 lings he had created before.
No luck there, after the rush, Mics made a hatchery and a hydralisk den in his main and also upgraded one of his
hatcheries to a lair(Most likely lurkers against Kaz). Mics, having been scouting with lings, noticed a small force
of Medics/Marines/firebats was approaching, so he timely put up 3 sunkens in his natural and created more lings.
After a minute or so Kaz attacked...
Didnt do much because of the newly created lings and sunkens.... After the attack Kaz then makes an Academy,
2 factories and a starport. Running low on money, Kaz finally decides to expand to his natural. Kaz, scouted with a marine and now knew Mics was teching lurkers, so he then went for sci tech...
Mics soon expanded to 3aclock and his mineral only expansion, he researhed carrying ability and speed for his overlords, he was prepping for a drop... Kaz on the other hand, had a good army of tanks and marines to attack with..
Basically at the same time, they moved their forces to attack, Mics loaded lurkers and hydralisks into his overlords.. Kaz then began to move his tank and marine army to destory Mics's natural...which attack will be successful?
Unluckely, Kaz's force runs into a freshly made patch of lurkers, and soundly gets destroyed by the zerg force..Mics didnt have that much trouble dropping and destroying the terran base... GGs were exchanged and Mics stood as the victor.. Anyway thnx for reading my first posted report.. im open for suggestions and constuctive critisms :D... Thx all.
Lessions learned:
1: Mines are usually good vs lurker players who plan to drop.
2: When Kaz saw his base getting destroyed, he should have moved his tank/marine force back to destroy the zerg drop
3: Remember to write down Mics full name... I forgot it. =[
4: Late 12 pool rushed suck :D
