Are you tired of the same old StarCraft?? Yes?? Well welcome to Silent~Death's series on conversions and when the series is done you can actually download the conversion for yourself at no extra charge and hassle-free!

This report is on a well-known conversion that I personally like. It is the StarCraft Sickel Add-on Conversion!! And since most of these conversions can't be played on B.Net and if they are so what? I decide to play it in single for easy showing. I download this little conversion here

Vital Stats!

Map = Dustbowl Its a former Blizzard map of the week. You can check it out here
Players:
Silent~Death purple terran 9 o'clock
Computer yellow protoss 12 o'clock

I started by selecting 2 SCVs and sending them to different mineral patches than making another SCV and selecting the other 2 SCVs and sending them to different mineral patches and so they started mining. I made a supply depot fairly close to my CC and a barracks and than I scouted.

I like Dustbowl =)

I added supply depot and finally a bunker to end a sort of wall-in. I found the Computer at 12 o'clock as Protoss.

my weird demented wall in

I decided to tech to my personal favourite unit: the Scavenger, a flying unit that replaces the vulture and does 6 damage per volley and upgrades +1 every weapons upgrade and the new version of it is with a raynor face and is +2 every weapons upgrade.

I added gas, and kept on pumping out little SCVs and once I had enough gas I got a factory and when my first factory was halfway done I got a second. I added a machine shop to the first one and rallied it near my supply depots. I did the same with the second one and soon I was pumping Scavengers out of 2 Factories. I soon added 2 starports and a armory to my arsenal. I got a structure which lets you pump out the special units. There are lots and they come in forms of special Scavenger to cloaked dropships and other goodies.

Once I got about 10 Scavengers I went and attacked Computer's mineral line. I managed to get about 6 probes before 3 dragoons came and we had a crossfire. I had to manually target them for effectiveness cause Scavengers aren't cheap they are 75:75 and take about as long as a vulture to build.

Scavengers Rock... Scavengers Rock.. Scavengers Rock... Terran!

I managed to kill those dragoons with 3 losses of my Scavenger force. At home I still kept on pumping out those Scavengers and once My structure was up I started to pump upgrade Scavengers. They costed me 100:100 every time and I had about 3000 worth of minerals and 100 worth of gas and damn it I didn't need minerals but oh well. I brought my Scavenger force to the cliff overlooking Computer's base and brought my newly made Scavengers there too. I than attacked and kept on harrasing outside buildings. I managed to destroy a few pylons, a stargate, and a templar archives this way. When I had the money I upgraded ship weapons and brought my Scavenger attack up. I kept on harrasing and I noticed my main was a little low on minerals so I queued up a dropship while building a CC at the same time. I floated the CC to an expansion on my lower cliff. I than attack moved my scavenger force overlooking his base down to my expansion when lo and behold: A Protoss expansion!

time for another minimap update!

My precious valuable Scavenger force died trying to defeat the expansion but the innumerous cannons were too much, plus they had the help of dragoons. Back at my main I have about 8 hero scavengers so I attacked the expansion. During the attack my weapons upgrade finished giving my Scavengers 8 damage instead of 6. I finished off the cannons and dragoons with incredibly heavy losses of 2 scavengers due to carefully placed units so that only 1 cannon or dragoon can attack me at once and the expansion was soon leveled. After destroying that base I decided to expand to the 6 o'clock main. And I started to harrass the outer buildings again.

Conversions are a nice way to take a break from StarCraft and still practice it

I than noticed my second upgrade finished and continued on with my third. I than finally built an academy and engineering bay. If the comp had DTs I would have been so dead due to lack of detection. I upgraded weapons attack and got marine range for my bunkers and little watchers that are look like spider mines but don't explode thing. I added a comsat to my expansion CCs and scouted around and noticed another expansion attempt I sent my Scavenger force towards it in hopes of demolishing it. You can see it in the minimap

another wonderful minimap update

Than after that I sent my Spider watchers to the expansions that could be reached by ground and burrowed them there so that I could keep a watch on the expansions. I than searched the right cliff near Computers's cliff and finding nothing there I moved down a little and went to the upper left corner expansion and finding a nexus, pylon and cannon warping in, I destroyed it with my Scavengers.

I than moved back to the cliff expansion and started to harrass buildings there. I had about 24 Scavengers there and sent them in without microing. I had 24 2:3 Scavengers and started to decimate his main.

Scavenger ownage!

I finished off most of it with 5 losses and Computer lost most of his main. From there it was all downhill I destroyed all of his forces and his base.

minimap update again!

I than destroyed his last building: an observeratory and a pylon

I own all!

The scores for the game:
A perfect collage!!

Lessons Learned
-I Suck
-I learnt HTML
-Comps are easy
-Downloading conversions are fun =)
-I need to BattleReport on a better game
-I like Battlereporting when Im in it

Most people don't download conversions cause they are happy with the game they are playing but once you get tired you can download conversions and keep playing only with different units and stats. I will be displaying this conversion under all three races, Terran, Zerg and Protoss and since Im done the Terran, Zerg and Protoss will be posted later. Thank you for playing the StarCraft Sickel Add-on.Now after playing this conversion and you want to download it, download it here
