I finished this game like 5 minutes ago, and it was one of the most intense, most frustrating games that I have ever played in my Starcraft career. It seemed that one moment I was on top, but then the Zerg would come in a lay open the smackdown on my ass. Finally I came out on top, but it took a lot to get there. Only have pics of the final scores, but if I ever watch a game, you can be assured there will be other pics in there.
I had just finished playing a couple of games of Bunker Command II with a few friends, but they had to leave, so I decided to hunt of something that might be just as intense as Bunker Command. I started a game on Temple, that was supposed to be a free for all.

- FireNova - Terran - 9:00
- Whakmeoff - Zerg - 6:00
- ~sod~maya - Protoss - 3:00
Well I started off with my normal Terran build, going supply depot on 8, barracks on 10, supply depot on 12, and Gas on 13. I sent my 8th SCV out and found that Whakmeoff was at 6:00 and that he had early expanded but had no sunkens up yet but had a spawning pool just finishing. I figured it would be an ffa, and he couldn't be allowed to power. I backed up my SCV, constructed a bunker and sent my first 3 scv's down, but the bunker was quickly overwhelmed by about 20 zerglings.
It's about this time that ~sod~maya drops and I told the other player that we should 1v1.
Okay, we can 1v1. You win, just don't leave
I thought that was sort of a strange thing to say, but I kept my mouth shut and started work on 3 factories. I had 6 tanks on my cliff by my wallin when the first attack of hydras came, and with a little bit of quick repairing no real damage was taken.
After my 3 factories came online I constructed 2 machine shops, and an armory. I pumped vultures and tanks for a while and went on the offensive. With 5 tanks, 10 vultures and about 6 marines I headed off toward his natural, and constructed a pair of bunkers and a turret. Right before the bunkers pop out about 20 hydras and some zerglings come rushing up, and some following lurkers. My force was decimated, and I retreated back home to lick my wounds.
I knew that I would need to power more if I had any chance of winning. I constructed 3 more barracks *4 total* and 2 starports, both with addons.
I build a command center at my natural, fortified it with some spider mines, tanks and a couple of goliaths, and set up mining operations as quickly as I could.
I constructed 4 dropships and dropped off assorted marines, medics, goliaths, and tanks at his main base, and managed to kill most of the drones, and a couple of buildings before he came in with more hydras and lurkers to kill my force.
This was getting no where quickly. I started pumping marines and upgrading both infantry and my mechanical troops, so when I dropped off at his base with 6 dropships full of vultures, tanks and marines I was 2/2 for factory units, and 2/1 for infantry. I took out his main, and quickly followed up on his natural while simultaneously expanding to the 12:00 position.
After a few comsats, I noticed he had both islands, 9:00 main, and was taking out my newly founded expansion at 12:00.
I gathered up more forces in 4 dropships and took out the northern island, while expanding to the mineral only's of 6 and 9.

At this point, my opponent really started to piss me off. He started parasiting everything he could lay his hands on, and when I was attacking he'd plague and darkswarm his entire forces. Where was he getting all this from anyway??
I'd forgotten to build a bunker up at the northern island so he expanded there again, before I finally went in and took everything out, this time finally building a bunker and a couple of turrets.
I wanted a big force of heavy units, so I started construction of a few battle cruisers, and some sci vessels to d matrix and irradiate.
While I slowly built up my air force and was starting on the air upgrades I tried several attacks on 12 which he seems hell-bent on making his new main. I scanned quickly, then headed in immediately after, only to find that I had landed on top of 12+ lurkers. Damn those things move fast. It's not fair :(
I now had 4 cruisers, and decided to expand to the 9:00 natural. I took the forces from my mineral only's and sent them up to the 9:00 main and took out his hatcheries and drones he had up there, and took the natural for myself, and soon had it heavily mining.
As I had just finished setting up he came along and parasited all of my battle cruisers, and for good measure, about 6 of the scv's mining. I sent along a few medics, and only then noticed that I had forgotten Restoration!!!! Damn.
I researched it and had about a dozen medics placed in pairs along most parts of the map for quick parasite removal.
I took my 4 cruisers down to the south island and d-matrixed those up and took it out with very little resistance. This is when he really went defiler heavy. My wraith pilots couldn't so much as burp when I dark swarm quickly went up.
I now had a force of 8 cruisers, and decided to go after his new main. Right as I was heading up he took out my base at the 9 natural, and I couldn't get there in time to save it, but I took out like 30 hydras after the darkswarm went down *Lucky for me he didn't like consume all that much :)*
At this point I have almost nothing... I float my command centers all over the map, picking up the last few resources available at all the nodes, and the grand total was... 321 minerals and 186 gas :( And this guy said I was going to win.
I still had my 7 cruisers though, and reclaimed 9 natural so I could get the 1000 or so minerals and claim the precious depleted geyser there.
At this point, the Zerg speaks.
You have some skills, but you've lost.. My maphack owns all...
He leaves the game!!! I was so surprised, I figured that he'd just come through and rip the shit out of me. I had very little defense at any of my bases and very little money in the bank.

Lookit them scores. He was totally gonna own me :(

I must say kudos to Whakmeoff though. Though he was using a maphack, and had probably planned to quit all along, he taught me some valuable lessons against Zerg. Thinking back I could have irradiated all those hydras under darkswarm, then nailed them with my BC's when they came running out. I should have used my goliaths vs Queens. And more tanks when attacking his lurker infested 12 base would have been helpful. I must say, even though he knew where all my stuff was, his use of parasites was quite annoying, and probably would have owned me even if he wasn't hacking.
That's kind of a shitty lessons learned though right?? But just read the report for yourself, and I'm sure you'll find all sorts of things that I did wrong, and then you yourself have learned a lesson right???
Well that's it. I know it's my second report for today, but since I didn't get a rating on the other one, I needed one that was capable of getting a rating. Ahh, the things we do.. :) Laterz
