Welcome boys and girls, Ladies and gentlemen to my first ever battlereport. In this story today we will be bringing you the epic adventure of 2 players, With nothing to lose and everything to gain they are here, To fight this game out through, courage, bravery, and simply to win, why else?

The Map.

The battlegrounds for this adventure today are non other then proving grounds. As long as I make battlereports they will never be made on the not-so-lost temple. Or BigGayHunters.

The Players.

One of my best freinds on battle.net, I find he is best with protoss, He is also the king of gay strats, such as, killing random Ppl on BGH with nothing but corsairs and cannons, called a cannon push. Hos only condition on letting me watch his game was if i we're to battlereport it. He doesent like people to watch him play.

I don't know much about Yatrix, This is the first time i've ever talked to him, although i hear good things about him. The reason he's playing in this BR, "I want to be the star of a BR".

The Game.

Well, This battlereport takeing place on the proveing grounds was quickly started with the cloaning of scv's and drones.

The game seemed to be moveing along quite nice in the first few minets, nice lag, nice map, things are looking great. This is when I notice that Yatrix is makeing A mistake that will cost him later in the game.

Yes, he notices this mistake quite quickly.
As the game goes on here are the starting build orders

The-bastard	2nd hatchery	exstractor	spawning pool
Yatrix	suply depot on #8	barracks	suply depot

Scv's and overloards are quickly sent scouting after the 1st depot and when a 2nd overloard is made. They both find eachother fairly quickly and Yatrix ops for gas and an acadamy followed with a second barracks, While it apears that the-bastard is opting for lurkers, but not before he does something else, he has just started a second exspansion before he makes his hydra den, this is gonna cost him serios time.

This time is spent with the-bastard makeing drones and a hydra den followed with 2 sunkens at main and 6-8 lings. Yatrix now planning on a marine and medic rush is reserching stim packs and plans to hit bastard from behind, he is aware of the-bastards 3 bases becuse of deon the peon, and he is makeing a scanner for detection on wich we all know is comming, lurkers. The attack starts out with Yatrix rallying his troops to the middle of the map inbetween the 2 bases, now makeing marines, medics, and even about 2-3 firebats for ensurance. Yatrix is ready to attack, he makes his way around the base without being seen till he's almost behind the minerals. and then bastard's lings are sent into their death. As the marines arive behind the minerals out of sunken range bastard is forced to retreat his drones away, with nothing else to shoot Yatrix moves his marines back around and starts to nail the exstractor.

Thing's looking grim for bastard?

Well things are definatly looking grim for bastard, that's why this battlereport is a 3 outa 3 game report.
no, wait what's this? It turns out that bastard is in fact, a bastard, he has been makeing 3 lurks at his exspansion, and is now moveing them in for the kill on Yatrix's troops. Alot of burrow and run menuvers and quick stim scans and the battle rages on, At first it looks like Bastard is going too lose this war, and Yatrix is going to be victorios and hold up the throne of the terren commanders. But with some quick luck and loss of energy and scannner the-bastard runs back the invadeing troops back to Yatrix's base. where they engage in a fight. I notice at this point, I think that if Yatrix would have just gone at the exspansions (wich he knew about) he could have killed 1 if not 2 of them and put bastard permanantly out of the game, bastard is indeed, a lucky bastard. anyways, back to the story.

The war rages on

Yes this battle, close, is not nearly done yet. The fight rages on back to yatrixes main base. where he has yet to exspand but has secured his bridge with 2 turets. The turets don't last long and now... Things look VERY grim for Yatrix?? Just as you think a game is getting good too. yatrix has started a 3rd turet farther back and is also makeing a bunker since there are just as many Lurkers as there are infantry on the screen. Ouch. the bunker is down to 43 HP and the spines are everywhere. But useing 1 marine to draw fire from the lurks and 5 scv's on the bunker it completes and along with a new tank things are picking back up as the lurker guts are smeared onto the ground in piles of blood. they sink further into the ground untill they are almost faded away... Blizzard rates this game teen? Now there is a time of grace. both players quickly get their economy rolling again and Yatrix is starting his exspansion. good game? you bet. Bad manner? you bet. as things we're picking up Yatrix started 2 starports and a science facility, 2 dropships are made and yatrix is being bad manner ^^. droping the usuall 3 rine - 1scv - 1 tank on top of bastards cliff for the turbo newbie. But bastard has not been sitting idol, he has been makeing more lurks, exspanded again to the top left start position and is now very fastly moveing lurks around for a sneek attack through the back, (look to ur right). During this time yatrix's tank has been pounding on the drones and the hydralisk den. The-bastard quickly sends his remaining drones up too his new base and with 3 bases working is fastly amasing hydras outa his 5 hatcherys. The lurks that went around for the sneak attack kills all of the scv's on mins and yatrix is moveing fast to remake them, 6 Hydras put the tank to rest and the rubo newbie has failed. 4-5 scans later, and the lurks have failed, but hey, they did their job right? Now the game is again at a down time, the remakeing of drones/scv's and buildup of troops with a little bit of hydra harrasment/slaughtering here and there. and i am very sorry i did not get this on screen shots but the bastard killed the benglass.
ok now that the down time is over, the game is going to get interesting again, yatrix puts the bulk of his troops into 2 dropships and moves them out, the bastard has collected a bulk of his troops as well and all hell is gonna break lose. yatrix moves over his troops to bastards 2nd exspansion as bastard moves in a ton of hydras from both sides of yatrixes base. The buildings crumble into piles of ruble and so on and so forth as well as the exspansions fall into piles of mush, yatrix moves over to bastards 1st exspansion now and dropes that only met with a small amount of adrenalings. with his main base gone bastard quickly goes forth and kills his exspnsion leaveing Yatrix with 1 turet and 1 depot on top of bastard's main clif.. And that my freinds. is one hell of a game if i do say so myself.
