Lifetime Rating for Wizzymoto: 5.0000 |  | It was early evening on Bnet. So I joined a BGH FFA, (yea, yea, I'm stink right? Well, there was nothing, and I mean NOTHING else!) with two of my friends and some other guy.
Here are the names and records:
Wizzymoto-me 17-14
Carlos- 8-11
Pike528- 16-14

Well, anywayz, we all chose random, and Pike and I ended up with Toss, while Someguy got Terran, and Carlos got Zerg. Wow, race diversity! I started off with a pylon on 8, and a gateway on 9. I quickly got a forge, cause I love those new cannons, then threw upanother gate. and had 5 zeals, when Carlos comes with about 9 lings and 7 hydras. He didn't notice I had two cannons warping in, and got crushed when they did(Gotta love those cannons). Well, I lost 3 of me lots, and had one at half hp, so I decided to try and tech up really quick to reavers. Afterwards, when we compared notes, it seems that Pike's Zealot rush had decimated Terran, and he was forced to lift off to a different spot. So, I didn't know where he had started, and when I dropped there with my first two reavers and a two dragoons, I thought "Gosh, this guy has jack s@#$!" I finished him off, and hastily retreated when I found out my new expansion was under attack. I fought off the Toss invaders with my reavers, but then they got hacked up by DTemps. I had completely forgotten about observers!!!!!!!!
Back at my main I wuickly put up a second Robtics Facility to go with 3 Gates, and 1 Stargate. While I had blundered bout the observers, I HAD remembered to upgrade and by now I had 2-1-1 for ground, and 1-1-1 for my 6 scouts and 6 sairs. Nobody was doin much right now, so I decided to take my modest fleet and go overloard huntin'. I managed to pick of two or three before Carlos ran me off. I left my corasiars to die and kill 2 more loards and retreated my scouts. Now, all this time I had thought nothing was goin on, Pike and Carlos had actually been slugging it out almost nonstop. I loaded a DA and a Rever into a shuttle and zipped over to Carlos' base, he didn't notice that while my reaver picked of a few drones, I had MC'ed one and was flying back to an expansion to start my new Zerg base. That was the difference in the game as even though my skills aren'tup to [ar with my two amigos), the extra suply allowed me to pick apart Carlos with squads of Goons and Cracklings. BeforeI had completely taken him out though, Pike was able to grab a drone too, and know the biggest battle of my newbie career ensued.
Seeing as how this was BGH, and there were only two players left standing now, units cameand died like ants hit with raid. I battled nonstop with Pike for an HOUR!!!!!. We had already played like 35mins beforehand, and the impossible was happening: BGH was running out of resources!!!!!!!!! Our crappyManagementskill had us killing like 500 unints of ewach others a piece. I had even managed to get a couple Ultra, I was so loaded. Psi storms, carriers, mutas, and hydras flooded the map. I used more HighTemps and at the end merged theminto an imposing force of 16 Archons. I used these guys and my few ultras as damage sponges and put reavers behind the lines. The finalclimatic battle was horrific. And while this choas ensued, I was able to pick off an expansion or two with drops. However, Pike used tio same strategy, only he completely destroyed my main with like 25 guardians. His guardian fleet kept growing and he picked off all my expansions one by one while I did the same to him. But my ReaverArchon drops weren't as fast as his MASS guardians, and the game ended, while there was still a huge battle goin on. I couldn't belive it, we had played for 2 and34 hours. My eyes were shot, my hands aching, my throat dry. All of that and I didn't even win!!!
