Well, I was just surfing battle.net one fine day, and I don't know what came over me, but I got this uncontrollable urge to write a battlereport. So I went into NoHunters looking for 2 players to do a 1 vs 1 that I could observe. I asked everybody in the channel and to my surprise, two people answered, it was almost to good to be true!!! I instructed them to go to the channel "vegita2", I went there, and only one of the players had joined, Damnit! So the guy that was in there went back to get another person to join. While he was gone the other guy joined in, saying that he had gone to the wrong channel on accident (great). Then the other guy came back with another player. So now there were 3 players. Then we tried multiple times to get a game going, and people kept leaving. When we did finally got a game going, it was blAxis-X against Ren01 and rebel[kob]. That's right ladies and gentle men, a 2 vs 1!! What luck, this was sure to be an intresting game. I didn't know how good any of the player were. blAxis-X kept gloating about how good he was, and Ren01 kept gloating about how bad he was. So I had no clue as to what the outcome might be. But anyways, without further Adieu, I give you the (drum roll please...) BattleReport!

blAxis-X morphed in his Hatchery at the NE corner, with rebel[kob] landing his command center in the SW corner, and Ren01 Warping in his Protoss Nexus in the NW corner. But after much deliberation, Ren01 had something to say about that: Looks like someone accidently went random, ha ha! ^_^

There was a very brief period of teching, blAxis-X got another Hatchery (4th), Ren01 got a Cybernetics Core and built a few Dragoons, and rebel[kob]'s strategy was clear now, he had two factories and was building Vultures. However, the silence was broken quite abruptly when blAxis-X took first blood attacking Ren01's base with about 20 zerglings. At this point Ren01 only had about 2 zealots and 3 dragoons, and no cannons.

Although Ren01's Zealots and Dragoons valiantly fought off blAxis-X's butt-rapers (zerglings) the damage had already been done. Ren01 was left without a Nexus or any anal-Probe's, so that pretty much put Ren01 out of the game, since he could no longer build any more buildings or get resources. Damn, that's gotta suck, not even half way into the game.

However, Ren01 stayed in the game and ended up surviving til the end, he just could no longer attack or build units. However, while blAxis-X had all his lings merrily butt-raping Ren01's main, rebel[kob] stepped into the game and attacked blAxis-X's base from behind with about 7 Vultures.

blAxis-X fended off the the attack easily with his already morphed Hydra Den and new hydra's and lings on the way. He only lost about 8 drones in the process. However, that wasn't all that rebel[kob] had to offer, and just a minute or so later he attacked blAxis-X again, with another force of about 7-8 Vultures. This time he went for blAxis-X's newly built expansion. A battle insued between rebel[kob]'s vultures and blAxis-X's defending Hydra's, with the hydra's eventually coming out on top, but not after rebel[kob]'s vultures manage to destroy blAxis-X's expansion hatchery.

After these little skirmishes several minutes went by with both sides teching and building up. rebel[kob] built another Factory and decided to build 4 more barracks so that he can pump units like a whore. Although he never even used his barracks after this, I guess he just build them to make his base look prettier =)

Meanwhile, blAxis-X was building more forces and teching to Muta's in hopes he can catch rebel[kob] without any anti-air. A few more minutes went by and rebel[kob] was ready to attack again. This time, with well over 12 seige tanks and a science vessel. He didn't have any infantry support however, which he couldve used considering that blAxis-X had some muta's already build, but he didn't know that. So without wasting another minute rebel[kob]'s tanks + 1 Sci-Vessel were on their way to give blAxis-X the beat down of his life.

When rebel[kob]'s forces arrived at blAxis-X's base, the hydra's there were no match for them, and the tanks proceded to plow the zerg base down. blAxis-X's muta's started taking free hits on the tanks however, as rebel[kob] neglected air support besides his lone Sci-Vessel, which only had enough mana for one irradiate. But to blAxis-X's mis-fortune, the muta's weren't enough to stop rebel[kob]'s tank army, and so after putting up a good fight, blAxis-X conceded the game in defeat.

- A 0/0 record makes it very hard to tell how good someone is.

- Tanks + Sci-Vessels > Zerg

- tmac = sexy (accourding to blAxis-X)

- Terran doesn't suck.
